Welcome to the majestic Casa Morocco, newly constructed in 2011. Casa Morocco exhibits meticulous and intricate detail blending rich African and middle-eastern architecture of the highest quality and craftsmanship. Imperial archways and elaborately hand-carved mahogany doors all come together creating an exotic charm certain to carry guests away to another world. Custom-designed, hand-painted tiles of the richest colors contrast the pristine white walls on every level of this extravagant Moroccan palace which sits just steps from turquoise Caribbean waters. Atop Casa Morocco’s stately architecture stands a magnificent dome illuminated nightly, creating a spectacle of beauty and grandeur against the Caribbean’s star filled sky.
One of the most stunning features of Casa Morocco is its private pool, fully laid with iridescent tile, unveiling shimmering brilliance in the island sun. Overlooking the glistening pool stands an impressive iridescent wall fountain, adorned with a majestic lion head surrounded by a dazzling 24-carat gold dial.
Casa Morocco is located on Isla Mujeres and offers the epitome of versatility for travelers in search of an affordable, yet exquisite luxury retreat. This Moroccan-themed haven boasts four superb suites; each fully furnished with en-suite baths and fully appointed kitchens. Guests can lease from one suite up to the entire ocean-front property which accommodates up to 8 guests for a memorable island experience. Three ocean-front suites and one bay-view suite all showcase extraordinary vistas and the ultimate in comfort and privacy.
Imagine your own personal beach graced with white sands where you can sunbathe, eased by the sound of ocean waves caressing the shoreline, or go for a dip in the luxuriant pool with its majestic Moroccan flair and commanding view of the open ocean, or grab your gear and snorkel in the crystal blue waters found in your own backyard. Enjoy an evening of Al-fresco dining under the third level terrace palapa as you watch the sun set upon the Cancun coastline. There you can entertain your guests with a barbeque or enjoy an intimate rendezvous. There is generous space to lounge with a glass of wine on integrated sofas, or hide away in the bubbling jacuzzi. Take in an awe-inspiring and dramatic 360 degree view of the island beauty surrounding you.
Make this the most unforgettable vacation getaway you have ever experienced by making Casa Morocco your tropical island vacation destination.

Welcome to Casa Piazza, a striking blend of Mediterranean and Mexican style in a peaceful natural setting. Our home is truly your vacation fantasy come true.
Located in in the exclusive gated community of La Punta which features controlled 24-hour security, Casa Piazza is a stunning 8000 square foot multi-level blending of Mexican and Italian Mediterranean architecture. Created by owner Scott Piazza and Italian designer Paolo Cressini, Casa Piazza is spacious and airy, designed for relaxed tropical living and lively entertaining.
Unusual and well-thought-out touches catch your eye everywhere, like custom made hardwood furniture, Mexican tilework, American antiques and Malaysian chairs. Some beds are adapted from antique farmhouse doors and the floors are tile, hand-peened brick and stone.
The property has sculpted grounds, a tiled swimming pool, two separate palapas (outdoor living areas) wet bar and spa tub. At every turn you’ll find striking views, comfortable furniture, balconies and large windows that admit the cooling sea breezes.
Easily accommodating ten guests, the main house offers 5 master bedrooms with 6-1/2 baths. Every bedroom has a private balcony, comfortable King bed, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The outdoor dining pavilion seats 12 guests adjacent to a modern, fully equipped kitchen with gourmet appliances. The sprawling living and family rooms are perfect for relaxation with comfortable sofas, satellite tv’s, vcr/ DVD player, a film library, games, ping pong table, books and recreational diversions galore. Up on the 1600 square foot rooftop terrace, life is good as you watch the afternoon slip into evening and enjoy after-dinner drinks.
The tiled pool terrace features chaises, deck chairs and tables with large umbrellas to shade you from the afternoon sun. Just across the street are 4 semi-private tennis hard courts with night lighting. The Casa Piazza staff includes a manager, chef, houseman and maid. They are all dedicated to making your vacation perfect in every respect.
In Mexico, outdoor living areas are called palapas and traditionally shaded by native-style thatched roofs. Our two palapas let you enjoy pleasurable outdoor living in the mild climate of Mexico’s Pacific Riviera, which shares the same latitude as Hawaii but offers more consistantly good weather.
The 1600 square foot rooftop terrace palapa has comfortable sofas, tables and chairs, a wet bar plus a second kitchen and dining area. There are also padded sunbathing chaises and a spa tub. The covered outdoor dining palapa adjacent to the main kitchen has a massive table and chairs for 12 guests to dine in comfort and style.
The rooftop palapa offers an incredible view of our glorious Mexican sunrises and sunsets. Relax with a tropical drink and you might see a migrating whale, wild parrots or frigate birds drifting lazily past. The night sky is so soft and clear you’d swear the stars are just within your reach.

Golf: There are 4 golf courses nearby. The world-famous La Mantaraya at the Las Hadas resort is just over the hill from Casa Piazza. Other courses include Isla Navidad, Club Santiago and El Tamarindo.
Tennis: Right across the street. 4 semi-private hard courts (open only to La Punta owners and their guests). These are well-lighted for night play. Racquets provided at the casa.
Beaches: It’s an easy four-minute stroll to our very own La Escondida Beach Club which has an 800 feet long beach with ocean & bay frontage, a lap pool and gym. Much of the time you will be the only one on this hidden gem of a beach. There’s a stunning view of Manzanillo in the distance, plus great snorkeling or sunbathing on our floating pontoon just offshore.
Other nearby beaches include Playa de Audiencia, where Dudley Moore and Bo Derek cavorted in the film “10,” and Las Hada, La Boquita and Salagua, plus Miramar and Olas Altas for surfing. Some beaches offer boat trips, paddleboards and kayaks, boogie and surfboard rentals, waverunners and other on-or-under-water experiences.
Fishing: Manzanillo is world famous for sailfishing, with international tournaments held every year in November and February. You can charter a private boat or share one with other anglers.
Tours: We can arrange shopping, cultural, sightseeing and nightlife tours of Manzanillo. You may want to visit the colonial town of Colima to see ancient tombs and caves plus the twin volcanos Nevado de Colimo and Volcan de Colima. Shop at local native bazaars for crafts, silver and textiles and see the protected bird islands. It’s possible to visit exotic plantations and see bananas, mangos, papayas, and coconuts being grown.
The downtown area of Manzanillo consists of a Malecon, or boardwalk, about a mile long.
You can walk along the harbor, enjoying the view of anchored fishing boats, from the motor cruisers chartered for tourist sailfishing, to small pangas, used by local fishermen. Along the way there are numerous benches, shaded by palm trees, and sculptures done by local artists. An old ship’s anchor (a cargo ship sunk in the hurricane of 1959) is an interesting conversation piece, and a good background for a photo.
As you get to the downtown area, you’ll see the “Jardin,” or garden, which is the town square. If you’re driving, the best parking is on the north side of the Jardin. The Jardin is where everyone congregates–to have lunch, get their shoes shined, or “people watch.” On many evenings when it’s cooler, bands play in the gazebo, and folks dance in the plaza. Feeding pigeons is a favorite pastime, too.
Just off the Jardin is Av. Mexico, with its numerous shops offering tourist treasures. In fact, all around the Jardin are storefronts offering everything from silver to T-shirts. There are also several restaurants offering a variety of Mexican dishes and seafood at reasonable prices.
Manzanillo’s mercado, or market, offers a variety of items for consumption. If you want the freshest seafood, fruits or vegetables, go from 8-10 in the morning. This is mainly a “locals” market, but tourists love it for its authentic Mexican flavor. Of course, other items, such as pi๑atas, pottery and leather goods are available. The mercado area is located on Av. Francisco I. Madero, behind the Club de Leones (Lions Club), one block south of Av. Mexico.

The sights and sounds of wildlife, open-air tropical living and unforgettable views have all been captured in one special place… Flying Toucans .
This luxurious Costa Rican Villa is situated on a picturesque point on the southern Pacific coast. With unobstructed views, and lots of surrounding jungle, you have all the privacy needed to enjoy your home in peace… with the exception of some noisy visitors. Yes, the Howler monkeys and the toucans can sound off at any time without first introducing themselves.
Superbly located in Costa Rica’s Maritime Zone (within 200 meters of the shore), Flying Toucans is one of just a few private luxury home rentals in the area that is on the ocean side of the main coastal road. This unique location combines breathtaking views of jungle-clad mountains, palmtree-studded beaches, and the tranquil Pacific ocean with quick and convenient access all year long. If you like beaches, you are in luck as we have an abundance nearby. From your villa, take a short hike down to the point and discover two secluded beaches (one with its own 35′ waterfall) or jump in your car and within minutes be exploring miles of footstep-free sand.
The living and dining rooms offer the romance of open-air tropical living, blending the comforts of home with the nearness of wildlife. The living room is a great central location to gather and enjoy all that Flying Toucans has to offer. Plenty of seating for everyone. Don’t be surprised if a hummingbird or butterfly cruises through making a cameo appearance. The “formal” dining area, adjoining the living room, accommodates six.
The large fully-equipped kitchen, with its’ beautiful custom cabinetry, and casual eating area for up to six is integrated with the living room and the views beyond. Whip up a smoothie or a six course meal…your choice. There is a half bath downstairs as well as a laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer.
Once in, you’ll never want to get out of the infinity-edge pool. Within steps of the villa, it blends into the dazzling coastline and the popular Uvita “Whale’s Tail”, a unique place to walk and explore. It overlooks Ballena (which means “whale”) National Marine Park so keep your eyes open for Humpback whales and Bottle-nose dolphins.
Two well-furnished master suites are located upstairs. Each of the suites incorporates the use of precious hardwoods for the doors and vaulted ceilings. Relax in the comfort of a/c or open the windows and let the ocean breezes in. Too comfortable to get out of bed? Fine, enjoy the views from your pillow… now if you could just get someone to bring you breakfast!
Spacious bathrooms feature tumbled Columbian limestone showers and stone countertops and an openness that continues to let the outdoors in while providing all the privacy needed. (It is not unusual to have toucans or monkeys just a stone’s throw away while you are in the shower.:)
You will love taking advantage of the large terrace upstairs. It’s perfect for wildlife viewing, whale watching, stargazing, photograghy, sunrises and sunsets, or just dozing off in the comfy hammock. Surrounding the villa are exotic heliconias, a variety of fragrant gingers, exotic palms, birds-of-paradise, cola de lion, etc… not only for your enjoyment but to attract our fine feathered friends.
Hope to see you here soon. Flying Toucans … it’s UNFORGETTABLE!!!

A peaceful bayfront paradise. Whether you are enjoying the heated swimming pool and outdoor whirlpool or “sitting on the dock of the bay”, this 2-story 5 Bedroom, 3.5 bath home is almost sure to please any guest. Laundry facilities are located on both floors. Game room with pool table, bar, and TV to keep guests entertained if they get too much sun. there is even an outside shuffleboard court as well. Just a couple hundred yards to the nearest beach access, guests get the proximity to the beach that they want with the privacy of the bay that they need to relax.
In a house with 5 bedrooms, you almost need 2 separate living rooms. With the game room on the first floor and the living room on the second floor, guests can enjoy some quiet relaxation time while the kids are downstairs watching TV or playing games. The living room one of the largest rooms in the house with 3 sets of doors that open onto a screened lanai, an entertainment center with a 36″ TV, DVD Player, VCR and Stereo. Off the living room, guests will find the kitchen and breakfast nook, the formal dining room, the Upstairs Queen bedroom and a half bathroom.
The dining room is seldom used in a vacation home like ours, but you just never know when you are going to have to do some entertaining in a more formal setting. The table is large enough to fit 8 people comfortably, although it only has 6 chairs. Folding chairs for additional guests can be found in the master bedroom closet. It’s a perfect place for a holiday dinner or to entertain friends that live in the area or are vacationing nearby. Conveniently located directly opposite the kitchen, you don’t have far to walk to bring in the food or take out the dishes.
A luxury house requires a spacious kitchen. This house is no exception. With breathtaking views of the bay, the kitchen is the center of the 2nd floor. Guests will enjoy the extra elbow room for cooking on our center island. Staying in the house with a big group requires a lot of food – and we’ve got enough cabinets for you to keep a month’s worth. If you’re staying with just a couple of friends, eat a casual meal at our 4-seat breakfast nook or at the counter with bar stools off the living room.
The recreational/game room is where most children spend their time (when they’re not swimming in the pool, that is). Guests may enjoy our pool table, TV, bar with a separate sink and refrigerator, as well as a table for playing board games. Located directly off the pool deck, it is also a convenient place to relax if you need to get out of the sun for a few hours.
The Master Suite: Truly the highlight of staying in this home. With a screened in lanaioff this spectacular bedroom, you can wake up each morning watching the sun rise over the bay, listening to the sounds of nature. A King-size bed seems too small in this extra-spacious room. A dresser and dual king-size walk in closets will be plenty of space for you to store your clothes in while you are our guests. A small sitting area with a TV allows you to unwind in private after a busy day at the beach.
The master bath is just as spacious, including double sinks, a shower/steam room, toilet facilities and a bath that overlooks the bay. Additionally, laundry facilities are located off the master bathroom. Enjoy a relaxing bath in our extra-deep tub overlooking the bay or maybe nice hot shower after a long day at the beach. The master suite has an oversized bathroom with luxury facilities like the extra-deep soaking tub, our steam & shower room, double sinks and vanities and laundry facilities. Fresh sheets and towels are included in all rentals.
By far the most relaxing part of staying in this bayfront home is the view of the bay as you relax by the pool. Unlike other houses on the bay, the view from this house is unobstructed and contains only what nature provides. The heated pool and outdoor whirlpool are very relaxing and perfect for families. Our bayfront dock has a boat lift, should you decide to rent a boat for the week or if you happen to have one that you’ll be sailing in on. Our pool deck also has a separate patio complete with seating for 6 and a gas grill for your enjoyment.
Discover the vacation of a lifetime in this spacious waterfront four bedroom air-conditioned house located on the southeast side of Lubbers Quarters Cay in Abaco, Bahamas, with a white sandy beach and your own private dock at your doorstep.
This two-story, four bedroom vacation rental home, sleeps 8 comfortably – 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 twins. It has one and a half baths plus two outside showers, one of which is enclosed. All linens are supplied except beach towels.
Every room provides a view of the turquoise sea of Abaco. Leading from the living room is a large screened porch which provides a place to relax in a hammock and enjoy the fabulous panoramic view.
Other amenities include: Large Gas Grill, Phone and Wireless Internet available, VHF radio, Books, Movies, Direct TV, DVD/VCR, CD/Stereo, Dishwasher, Microwave and fully equipped kitchen. Laundry service available by the load.
There’s a lot to do right off the dock of Hardaground: lounge in the beach chairs, swim in the crystal clear water, watch the parade of sailboats go by, stargaze at night, fish, snorkel, or comb the nearby beach for sea glass… and much more. There’s also plenty to do around Abaco!
Just a few minutes walk away lives a commercial fisherman, Michael. He also runs a charter boat. Fresh fish, Lobster and Conch can be purchased from our ‘island fish mart’, also owned by Laurie and Michael. Michael runs daily fishing charters, so when booking Hardaground, pick your dates in advance for your fishing trip. You can contact him at (242) 366-3143.
When travelling to another of the Cays (Elbow/Hopetown, Guana etc) then you may want to rent a golf cart for a full or half day. Some restaurants/bars on Elbow Cay have a free ‘shuttle’ van to pick you up (Sea Spray, Abaco Inn, On Da Beach), or you can pull directly into their dock with your boat (Sea Spray, Abaco Inn, Harbour Lodge, Harbours’ Edge, Capt’n Jacks). But if you want to explore the island and the lovely homes, a golf cart is the only way to go. They cost about $40-50 for a full day; here are some of the rentals: Hope Town Cart Rentals, 366-0064; Island Cart Rentals, 366-0448; T&N Cart Rentals, 366-0069.
Remember that Abaco is fairly secluded – you will need to think about certain necesities ahead of time. Groceries and food can be heavy, and beverages are really heavy. A twelve-pack of beer or soda weighs ten pounds! Those items are readily available at about twice the US price in Abaco. Milk, water, bread, eggs, fruits and vegetables, and those sort of basic things are always available anywhere. You won’t find a lot of good beef, so that may be something you might consider bringing in. A bag of chips or cookies can easily cost $5, so get used to high prices – it all has to be imported, and then it’s taxed.
Maxwells in Marsh Harbour is the place to go for everything but Liquor. There are several good liquor stores in Marsh Harbour too – just ask your taxi driver. Go to the stores first and then go pick up your boat. Bear in mind there is no grocery store on Lubbers and you will need to go to Elbow Cay or back to Marsh Harbour if you need to re-stock. Also consider that some of the smaller airlines will charge you extra for bringing in your coolers. There is a new service called AbacoEase that also will shop for you, prior to your arrival so you just pick up your food items from them in Marsh Harbour when you arrive, maximising your vacation time, so their service sounds potentially very useful.
