Cottonwood Cottage in Bluefields Bay

Our most nature-integrated villa is sited adjacent to the beautiful Bluefields Beach where you often find shaded sitting areas under tree umbrellas and clear calm seas that are ideal for snorkeling and sea kayaking. Cottonwood Cottage has our two largest bedrooms (both 19’ x 22’) and each provides fabulous vistas and the hypnotic lapping sounds of the Caribbean Sea. The master bedroom has a gorgeous king-size four-poster canopy bed, a private terrace overlooking the sea, and an exotic 4’ x 6’ marble shower that can open out to the tropical garden and sea view. The second bedroom, with twin beds and a private dressing room/bathroom, feels like living in a tree house perched just above beautiful tropical waters. The living room and bar area are almost a part of the lush tropical gardens.

Recently completed is a new infinity edge swimming pool for Cottonwood Cottage that will be a dream for both couples and children alike. Sitting at its whirlpool jets will make you feel like the pool is cascading down into the sea. Its 20’ shallow octagonal portion is a perfect spot for children to frolic, and there is a 40’ long lap area for those who wish to exercise or swim in deeper waters.

Adjacent to and below Cottonwood Cottage is The Treehouse, our beach pavilion with bar, extensive dining and living space, small kitchen, and powder room. It is far enough away from Cottonwood Cottage to create no intrusion, but close enough to provide a fine additional benefit for guests staying at that villa. Although The Treehouse is available to all of our visitors, it is most convenient for those residing at Cottonwood Cottage. The Treehouse is the site of our weekly cocktail party and weekly Jerk Chicken Luncheon.

Policy

Mandatory all inclusive package:  

- Add $125/day per adult

- Child all-inclusive package (16 years and under) includes 3 meals per day, sodas, juices, snacks, nanny upon
 request, and special child-oriented on-site activities. Add $90/day per child.

- Staff gratuities, government taxes, community fee to support local educational and environmental needs. Add 25% of total.

- 3 meals per day

- appetizers at sunset

- open bars with locally-available liquors, soft drinks, house wines, sparkling wines

- use of sea kayaks, snorkeling gear, tennis court

- staffed seaside lounging areas

- airport transfers (for full-week rentals)
