Our elegant, impeccably kept one bedroom condo on the 9th Floor of Hilo Lagoon Centre is the perfect spot to stay for enjoying Hilo town, Hawaii's best kept secret. With views of Mauna Kea and a short walk to the ocean parks on Hilo Bay, you have the best of what Hilo offers. This condo features a spacious one bedroom with a hardwood king sized bed, closet, and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a step-in tub with shower, toilet, and sink with vanity mirror. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook in the condo including a full sized range with oven, full sized refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, rice cooker, InstaPot, panini press, and so much more. Sit at our modern bar and sample island brews in our elegant glassware. The living room has a comfortable sofa and side chair for enjoying entertainment on the flat screen TV with Free Wi-Fi and basic cable channels. Our unit has two small balconies for enjoying Hilo and mountain views. The condo is fully airconditioned with two temperature control units.

The Hilo Lagoon Condo complex has a large outdoor pool that is available for your use. There is a coin operated laundry room on the 9th floor for your use and the building has 24 hour security and off-street parking. This is the best place to stay in downtown Hilo for travelers and remote workers alike! We request responsible guests only in our high-end unit, please.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY (not applicable to Hale Kai Suites. See section f, below): To offer you the best services possible, we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Guest shall inform Agent in writing of Guest’s intention to cancel the reservation. (For reservations made through third parties, additional cancellation policies may apply.) The cancellation policy is as follows:
a. If Cancellation notice is received thirty or more days (30+) prior to the check-in date, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be retained and the balance will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
b. If Cancellation notice is received less than thirty days but at least fifteen days (15-29) prior to the check-in date, fifty percent (50%) of the booking amount of rent and taxes will be forfeited. Half of the rent, tax, security deposit or damage waiver and any pre-collected cleaning fees will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
c. NO REFUNDS if cancelled within 14 days of arrival (0 – 14). As a courtesy to our Guest, if Agent can rebook any portion of the canceled reservation, Guest will be refunded to the extent that Agent is able to re-book the Property.
d. This loss can be avoided if Travel Protection Insurance was purchased and the reason for cancelation is covered under the travel insurance policy. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing.
e. Owner/Agent Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that the Property becomes unavailable for any part of the tenancy for reasons beyond the control of the Agent, including but not limited to the sale of the property, Owner and/or Agent may cancel this Agreement and refund in full to the Guest all payments made. Agent will assist in procuring similar alternative accommodation should this situation arise. Guest agrees that any claims against Owner/Agent arising out of performance or
non-performance under this agreement shall be limited to a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest.
f. Hale Kai Suites Cancellation Policy: The guest may cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival. No $75 cancellation fee charged on Hale Kai Suites cancellations.

"Comfy condo in Hilo!
This was our first visit to the Big Island and we are so happy we started in Hilo. The entire booking and checking in process was seamless and we were delighted at first glance with our rental property. The bed was extremely comfortable and the condo was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked “at home” nearly every night. The location is incredible! We walked to the ocean and to the gardens and to the city center for Wednesday and Saturday markets. We took advantage of the large pool and the laundry facilities. Everyone we met in the building was helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this property! "

"Wonderful Place to Stay in Hilo
We stayed in this delightful condo for a week in January and enjoyed every minute of it. The view was great, the location convenient, and the management very friendly and easy to communicate with. The furnishings are attractive, including a full kitchen, and the unit was very clean and well-maintained. All the supplies we needed for our stay were provided.

The Hilo Lagoon Centre sits next to the Wailoa River State Recreation Area, within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and less than a mile from downtown and the famous Hilo Farmer's Market. Our stay included free parking, pool access, and plenty of other amenities.

Now for the negatives.....oh, wait, there weren't any! For less than the cost of a hotel room, you can enjoy a private, comfortable home-away-from-home where you can watch the sunset from your balcony while planning your next day's Big Island adventure."

"Snazzy condo in downtown Hilo
Booked this condo for a few days in May. Hilo is so quaint and welcoming! It's like a piece of the past come to life. This condo is nicely furnished and had everything I needed to feel at home. Nice furniture, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. I did some cooking but there's also lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. LOVED Just Cruisin Coffee and Kenichi Ramen. There's a huge park with a lake / river waterway right behind the building, so it feels very peaceful even though its in town. Fantastic beach parks just a few minutes' drive. The place was SPOTLESS and very well maintained. Communication with the property manager was seamless. I would stay here again without hesitation."

We booked this unit for family coming to visit and WOW it's gorgeous - even nicer in person than the photos. The condo is beautifully furnished - nice linens, quality furniture and a very well-appointed kitchen. The views of Mauna Kea were spectacular. We appreciated the proximity to downtown Hilo, the lagoon with happy Koi and the well-kept building. "Perfect location in Hilo
My parents visited us from the mainland and we needed extra space. I was so happy to find this condo from a locally owned company. The unit was immaculate! The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook and it’s walking distance to great restaurants. My parents really loved walking to the lagoons in the mornings. Nice views from the condo and my folks said the bed was super comfortable. This will be our go to condo when friends and family visit Hilo. "
