"AFTER A SHAKY START
Got there and the gate code did not work. after a call to the office (answering machine) and a call back I got on to the property. Got to the condo and had two letters from the agent with different door codes. The second one I tried worked. After that the condo was as advertised and I had a great stay. "

"Disappointing
The property was in a great location and both my husband and I were able to enjoy the surroundings. The actual property was disappointing. It really needs sone refreshing especially the carpet. An important fact was the bedroom was actually located in the loft but the bathroom was downstairs which we did not realize. The stairs going up to the area were very steep. I was not aware of that in the description which I will take some blame but as an elderly couple that dud not work. They should be very clear in the description online. Thank goodness there was the sofa and twin downstairs which is what we used."

"Disappointed at refund policy
I booked a stay at Turtle Bay for 16th wedding anniversary. I had to cancel my trip for emergency surgery. The management would only refund the security deposit and cleaning fee. They would not even consider applying any of the rental fee towards a rescheduled visit in the near future. "

"Built for a Hobbit
If you are taller than 4'6", this place is not for you. While lying in bed, you can touch the ceiling. Of course the AC is downstairs, so the cool air struggles to get to where you are sleeping. At the top of the stairs, you almost need to get on your knees to go down the first step. The carpet in the living room has lots of stains and creases that are years old, and the leather sofa has a piece of plywood bolted in under the cushions that makes it extremely uncomfortable to sit on. The paint is peeling on several of the walls as well. The only positive is the kitchen, which is why they show that picture. Other than that, this place is a dump with a TV the size of a computer monitor and no WiFi. It takes the toilet 20 seconds to flush, and the shower head has been clogged for many years, producing not much of a shower. Will not be coming back to this unit again."

"Small condo in need of updates
I rented this condo for my mom and I to stay 2 nights after my sister's wedding. There is a queen size bed upstairs in the loft and we had to sleep in different directions to fit on the bed together. I am 5'10" and I couldn't stand up all the way in the upstairs loft area. The "stairs" leading up to the loft are more like a ladder, so taking heavy bags up and down was dangerous. We saw several ants in the bathroom, and no bug spray anywhere. The interior is very outdated and the carpet has numerous stains. The twin "bed" under the stairs is not useable unless you enjoy feeling the hard bars jab into your hips and shoulders. I'm usually able to sleep anywhere, but I could not sleep on this cot/bed. I moved to the couch, but that was just as hard. Don't be fooled by how plush it looks in the pictures.

The sheets and towels were clean, and the bathroom was clean, if outdated. The water pressure was pretty low as well.

If you're by yourself, and not looking for comfort in your room, but just the bare bones, then this place will be fine for you. I, however, will be paying more money next time to get a more comfortable place.

Also, why does the management company make their guests drive 3 miles away to drop off the keys after check out? The keys were waiting inside the condo when I checked in. Why couldn't I have just left them inside the condo when checking out?? The office is tucked away behind buildings and doesn't have a parking lot. It was not convenient to drive over there. "

"126 West at Turtle Bay
Attended a wedding at The resort. This location was perfect for that. Found unit clean, with no operational problems. I would only say that the unit was ok. Needs an upgrade badly."

"Kuilima West Stay
Very nice unit, great location, easy access to the parking stall. Instructions were clear, nice view of the golf course. Would stay again. Only thing is that there is a family of 8 living next door. Keep windows closed and turn on the A/C. If not for this, I would give a 5 star rating."

"Great place to Stay
It's small but has everything you need and is in a great location. I will be staying with them again!!! AC wasn't cooling, thanks to trade winds wasn't an issue. "

"Adequate condo
We only stayed 2 nights on the North Shore and just needed a place to sleep, so we didn't use the kitchen or really the living room. The bed is upstairs, with a slanted ceiling, awkward to move around in and it was hot up there. The condo was clean, except the carpet is stained and looks old and dirty. Location was okay. Management was very impersonal. We would not stay here for any extended period of time."
Mar 20, 2017 - Debbie F., Wasilla, AK

"Not the best, not the worst.
The location is great, except for the fact that it shares a very thin wall with a family with lots of screaming children (and screaming parents). If you don't mind the loud noises early in the morning and late at night, you'll be fine. Everything besides that went well until they told us checkout time was at 11 bit sent the maid at 8:30 to come kick us out. Then after I went and dropped the key off at their office location, I got a phone call asking me where my keys were. Very unorganized. Great condo but not worth the extra headaches. "

"Perfect location at a great price
It's hard to find a cheaper condo in Hawaii that isn't falling apart. This vacation rental was perfect for us at a very reasonable price. The location at turtle bay was phenomenal. I can't think of any better unit for a budget traveler to stay in during their Hawaii travels. Everything was clean and the kitchen very well equipped. The AC worked well, plus there was a ceiling fan and a box fan upstairs as well that helped maintain airflow. The staff was very helpful and refined promptly to all of our inquiries. Overall this vacation rental was perfect for us. "

"Review of stay at 126 West Turtle Bay Condos
We love staying at the Condos by Turtle Bay. The location is perfect -- just a five minute walk to the beach. It seems very safe and protected. The grounds are beautifully maintained. We have stayed at various condos in this development over the past 10 years. We usually come to Hawaii once or twice a year and we always stay here. This trip we came right after Christmas and there were not as many condos available for our price range. The condo we stayed in (126 West) was smaller and seemed older than the ones we have stayed in on past visits. We still had a great vacation and loved the location but we would probably opt for a little nicer condo next time. We did appreciate the fact that they had a couple of boogie boards in the closet that we could use and a small bed under the staircase that our daughter attending college in Hawaii could use if she wanted to spend the night with us. The property would be much improved if the bathroom and living room furniture was updated and if it had Wifi included. But it was a great price and it is in a good location."

"Recent Stay
The unit is in fairly good shape. Definitely worn, but was still comfortable. The couch was nice but the leather type material is peeling/cracking so it needs to be changed fairly soon. The one a/c isn't powerful enough to cool the whole unit, so I can only imagine being in there mid-summer. The only real issue I had was the bed. There were small hairs still on the pillowcase, and the bed was hard as a rock. The carpeted floor was more forgiving, and I still have back pains from the two nights I stayed. A new mattress NEEDS to be put in that unit. "

"Great trip to Turtle Bay Area
The Estates at Turtle Bay provided a great studio apartment for my stay on Northern Oahu. The staff was friendly and we had a great location, less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. There were more than enough supplies provided for two people to make it through a five day stay. I would recommend The Estates at Turtle Bay to friends and family traveling to the area."

"North Shore Turtle Bay Condo
We arrived a bit after the office closed so we used the code and lockbox. Everything worked as planned. This is a 70-80's condo overall. The picture is the kitchen which has been upgraded. It's very tiny but worked just fine for a couple. Note there is a table for two in the kitchen to eat at, not much else. No condiments in the cabinets which was okay for us. The bath is also very small and in this case had not been upgraded at all. reminded me of the ski condos they slapped up around Mammoth mountain about the same time this was built. It was, very clean, though, and well represented. An added bonus was the stacking washer and dryer. The main living room was as expected. I'm not a big fan of carpet in Hawaii but it is a second floor condo so it was not unexpected. Be very careful going up the stairs to the loft. Very steep and of course the loft headroom was a problem for me at 6'3". Comfy queen bed up there and again everything was decorated simply and nicely. The air condo is a window unit which we ran at night and turned off during the day. It kept the loft okay to sleep in. The view out the condo was across two holes on the golf course out to Kam Hwy. No real noise from the street to speak of. We were able to walk a couple of late nights over to Lei Lei's, the golf course restaurant, for a nightcap. Its very dark with little lighting and a bit of a walk for those getting on a bit. Likewise, the main TB resort is a bit further. Keep in mind these condos are on the property but not affiliated with Turtle Bay. So, overall impressions were that the condo was a bit dated but very well maintained. Minor issues were not unexpected. We didn't spend much time there other than to sleep, make a little breakfast and get on with north shore activities. Its a good value place to stay. Don't expect Turtle Bay luxury because of the name but we expected that going in. Since it is at a very reasonable price we will probably stay here again if occasion arises."

"Amazingly clean and comfy!
We had a blast. The views were awesome and the location was perfect with parking close by. I liked the cute kitchen and the nice living area. The bed up in the loft was comfy and there was an overall good feel to the place and boy was the price right. I would recommend this place to anyone.!!"

"A much needed break
This rental was exactly what I needed. It is a well kept space completely big enough for one but would be big enough for a couple for sure. It has everything you need from towels and chairs for the beach to anything you'd want in the kitchen. It was only a short walk to the public beach (5 minutes, tops) and the hotel. The staff was very friendly and made the experience easy."

"Last minute get away
I decided on staying here just one day before I arrived on the island from Portland Oregon.
The rental office people were very accomodating and professional.
The place was clean and perfect. I had a great time!!"

"Turtle Bay West 126
Our vacation went well!
Althought the property was showing some age, we understood that going in, and the low price compensated for the less than perfect condition. Overall, very satisfied."
Sep 30, 2014 - Bill S.

"father-son week
The condo met most of our needs but had two limitations that prevented me from ranking a 5 was the lack of a wifi for 2 working men who occasionally had to use the internet and computer. Also the loft bedroom gets quite warm and the A/C does not cool it down very much. I found that using the portable standing fan did help.nonetheless we had a great time in spite of the hurricane scares. We also found the Kahuku Grill was an excellent site with local ambiance and better food at 1/2 the price of any of the tourist restaurants at Turtle Bay."
Aug 28, 2014 - , Los Altos, CA

"Worth Every Cent
Knowing we were going to spend very little time in the rental, there couldn't have been a better selection. The room was clean and comfortable. The rental did require some painting as it looked dirty in some areas and the electrical outlets don't like holding plugs of any sort but that definitely didn't ruin our stay. Excellent budget property."

"Check in Procedure
Check in was not carried out according to the instructions, for first time stayers at the resort an agent should have taken us to the facility and given us a rundown on entry to the estate instead of leaving the keys in the condo and expecting us to figure it all out."
May 21, 2014 - , Knoxfield, Victoria

"Great value
Condo was great, only downside was there was no wifi. Other than that highly recommend! Perfect for a couple, it was just what we were looking for. "

"Was great to come back to Hawaii after 20 years
need to repair dryer it takes about 20 mins of running to hear the noise. My wife loved the area that we stayed in. Did not have all the noise that down town would have had. Nice and quite. Will rent again. Next time a two bed room."
Feb 11, 2014 - Jerry W., Battle Ground, wa

"Great place to stay when exploring north shore Oahu
Overall very nice condo, only comments:
Sleeping area gets very warm during the day and even with the AC running it doesn't cool down to a comfortable sleeping temp (and we were there during the winter). Noisy appliances (fridge, washing machine). No phone.
Except for these minor details we had a great time and we would definetly come again, great value!!"

"Pipeline
Pipeline is 5 mins away"
Jan 10, 2014 - David S., Savannah, Georgia

"Turtle Bay 126 West - 12-2013
We stayed in the unit for two nights, hoping to catch the pipeline surf comp down the road a bit. Not far from it but may be nice next time to be closer. Found a dead bird sitting on the deck, fell out of a nest above. The toilet leaked onto the floor when flushed so we reported both of those items. The kitchen has coffee filters so no need to buy those and comes with plenty of kitchen towels so no need paper towels. Do need the other stuff like oil, butter, sauces... they have salt and pepper there. no foil, no kitchen bags or plastic wrap. Good location, pool is close. Kids live full time downstairs but unit it quiet. Simple and easy, has a boogie board and beach chairs too! "
Dec 26, 2013 - Bobbi W., Redmond, WA

"very relaxing get away that will be repeated often.
my only not positive comment would be that the family that lives downstairs from the unit we rented had children, they were quiet, but the Lady of the house yelled at them constantly. We never saw them, just heard her when the children were up and around."
Sep 17, 2013 - Teri A., Lehi, UT

"My vacation
I have stayed at Turtle Bay these past 3 years as we enjoy the north shore and having a condo which saves money. Units really should be updated as the carpets and furniture are so old and dirty. I tried a new unit this year which was more of an upgrade. I actually thought that there was a day care in the unit below as there were so many children in the front of the property and in back of the property day and night along with their strollers, boogie boards etc... Additionally, I received a email once I returned home to the mainland from Turtle Bay indicating that the housekeeper reported that 2 bath towels were damaged and they charged me $15.97. I asked for proof and or photos as this was ridiculous. First the towels were old and only used to dry my body....I have not received a response..I paid a lot of money to stay at the property and stimulated their economy and this is how people are treated? Even though we love the area, we will NOT be returning to Turtle Bay. Also, those towels were not worth $15.97... "

"opinion of 126 West Condo
Overall it was very good. The upstairs was a little warm unless the condo was kept closed up during the day with the a/c @ 75 degrees on economy mode. Dryer adds heat to the unit and if done after 5 pm presents a challenge to cool off the loft before 10 PM. The grounds were exceptional. Front door lock was not engaging properly from the inside. Remote for the TV was challenging, which appears to be from former renters who did not treat it well. Internet access wasn't a problem. Thanks for a good experience. "

"Estates at Turtle Bay is the way to go.
This was the 2nd year we have rented a condo on this property. This unit was a studio w/ loft. the loft would not be safe for children or elderly. the stairs were dangerous and not up to code. the outside stairs were also uneven and not up to code. The kitchen/bath/living room were very nice. washing machine was not balanced and made terrible noise. Dryer was not vented outside and made the condo hot and humid. Everything else was in working order. The loft needed a small TV. The bed sagged a bit and the floor in loft needed some serious repairs. I would not rent this unit again next year. Six loud children live next door.
There is no wi-fi, but that was not an issue for us. Kuilima Estates is the best place to vacation on Oahu!"
Feb 25, 2013 - Janet K., Needham, MA

"Small but cozy
My family is from Oahu and I was travelling back to the state for my cousin's wedding at Turtle Bay Resort. My whole family rented several condos in the same complex and we had a nice family reunion this past Dec. The resort itself is quiet and relaxing with easy access to the golf course and beach. Everything that you would want in a very relaxing Hawaiian vacation. No traffic like in "town" (Waikiki), just a nice place to enjoy family and get a tan.
The condo I rented was very nice and clean. Nothing fancy, just a place to hang your hat. Renovated kitchen with utensils, washer/dryer and a loft area for the bed. Big ceilings so it didn't feel so tiny.
There were permanent residents below the condo but I didn't hear any noise from them. I ran into them a couple of times and they seemed like nice people.
Overall, if you're on a budget and want to enjoy a quieter, more relaxed Hawaii, I would definitely recommend this place. I didn't realize how relaxing it was until we moved to hotel rooms in Waikiki for the rest of our stay. I missed the condo and the easy atmosphere."

"Aussie Abroard
Overall this property was great,as I had a friend's wedding at Turtle bay resort. This property is easy 10 min walking distance from the resort and came in at about 1/3 of the cost of the resort!! There was also washer and drier so could catch up on my washing. "

"Nice condo for the price!!
We enjoyed our stay, the condo is a little outdated, and the carpet needs to be replaced, the kitchen had new appliances and was nice. For the price it was a nice place."

"No frills but nice place to stay for a wedding weekend
I attended a wedding nearby and stayed here for two nights. Yes, the furniture and decor are a little out of date, but the place had everything I needed -- a fully equipped (and remodeled) kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, and washer/dryer (though they were quite loud when running). This is a fine place to stay if you're spending most of your time out and about."
Sep 11, 2012 - Jennifer H., Los Angeles, CA

"Almost perfect
The property was great. We enjoyed our entire trip. The only thing we would change is the couch. It was old, ragged and torn. If the property got a new couch our stay would have been perfect."

"Condition
I loved the location to where I had to attend the conference but i was a little put off by the condition of the carpet and the tears in the couch. It was a little dated and I thought it was a bit fraudulant considering the photos did not show this. i do understand these are rentals but still. I loved the fact there was beach towels and a chair I counld take down to the beach. "

"Great vacation spot!
Our condo was excellent and worked out nicely. Walking distance to all the activities, pools, surfing, snorkeling, golfing, beaches, you name it! Close to Turtle Bay Resort restaurants and nightlife. If I have one complaint it is we chose this place because we could walk everywhere, unfortunately the rental office is off site 3 1/2 miles away so checking in/out without a car was an inconvenience. Why isn't the rental office on site? "

"TurtleBayCondo
Overall I liked the place and it was fairly quite. They should replace the couch that is ripped and probably change the carpet. Overall the place was good and I enjoyed it and the location. Close walk to the hotel for coffee and pastry and easy access to the golf course."

"excellent location/great value
My spouse and I were in Hawaii for a wedding. The property was very conveniently located. We also did a lot of walking around to be tourists. The condo was very comfortable. It was very well furnished. The internet WIFI connection was a bit weak. Over all we had a great time."

"Great bungalow feel for a quick getaway
Booked this room for a quick getaway and fell in love with the place. Although its a loft style condo, the place felt spacious while still maintaining separation from the kitchen, laundry room, living room, and bedroom loft. The condo was clean, readily furnished and supplied with laundry soap, kitchen appliances and dishware, and bedding. We had an unforgettable time and would recommend this property to anyone. "

"126 Loft Condo Unit
Light bulbs were burnt out, the lamps were old & rusty, wobbly, the window lever to open the window in the living room was broken off--but everything got fixed after we notified mgmt. Would be nicer if the wall pictures were replaced with new updated ones, the small TV was replaced with a flat screen, & the BR had a facelift, but still v. practical & usable. Enjoyed the new applicances in the kitchen & extra bedding/towels. Very nice stay, quiet, peaceful with birds singing in the mornings & immaculate lush grounds full of color & foliage! enjoyed the adult only pool too! Mahalo."
Apr 04, 2011 - Penny F., Lethbridge, AB

"
Overall we had a nice vacation but of course the condo needed some maintenance such as sliding door rollers, fridge handle tightened, burnt out light bulbs replaced and livingroom bottom louvers on window fixed. The sliding doors was our biggest concern. You have to be pretty strong to open and close that door. Even the screen door would jam to open or close it. The furniture was quite uncomfortable. That includes the couch and bed. The cleansiness was okay. I've rented from the Estates at Turtle Bay five times now and never had a complaint about the other condos I was in. I would rent unit #126 West again if maintenance was done and newer/comfortable furniture was in the condo.

Thank you"

"Hasn't been looked at since 1996?
The notebook that contains literature from 1996. I suspect that nothing has been done to this condo since then. The carpet had numerous big stains. 50% of the lights downstairs did not work. The back patio door doesn't open. The internet doesn't work (how about providing a wireless router so that I can get internet access on my ipad?). I'm not too picky so I could live with the unkept condition of the condo, but I don't think others would be happy about it."

"
This unit could easily use some sprucing up. Most of the furniture looks original & soiled. The loft area is cramped but do able. The kitchen faces the parking lot so without window shades it is not very private trying to have a meal in there. It would be nice to have a newer shower head, caddy & more racks for towels. As far as location, the northshore is tops as well as the location of these units. Management is very helpful but they are a mile or so from the estates. There is an office on site as well as security to help with some matters. Cannot beat the relaxed atmosphere & beauty of this side of Oahu."

"An Amazing 5 Nights
Great place, even though the shower head felt like bullets and the drawers in the loft were broken, the condo in it's entirety was amazing! Great place! Stocked really well and for such a low price too!"

"Fabulous stay!
My fiance and I stayed at the Estates for 5 days, 4 nights. It was wonderful! The property was well cared for and had everything that we needed! Our only bummer is that we thought we read we had rights to use the amenities on the Turtle Bay resort property (pool, gear and such)and came to find that that was not true. It all worked out anyway and we had a grand time! We were still able to eat at the restaurants and watch the sunsets and the like- We recommend it! Thanks so much!"

"The Perfect Location.
I think they need to update their furniture. The couch was ripped and worn, but the location is perfect and the neighborhood is safe enough to walk around at all hours. We were within walking distance from Turtle Bay Resort and the beach which made it all worth it!! I would definetly stay there again."

Property was old, couch torn, carpet stained and the housekeeping was terrible!"

"I would rate the Estates at Turtle Bay 5 Star. We were quite happy with 126 West except for the fact the internet was not working.
As a result, the property management found us another condo with a working internet...this property is lovely as well. We stay here at the estates at least once a year and love the location and the condos. Thank you!"

"126W
126W is a dated studio. Kitchen has been updated but the rest of the apartment is 1990's. 4X4 tiles in kitchen and bath room but carpet in rest of studio. Carpet is dirty with large spots and worn. Bathroom is clean but dated. Stairs to loft are killers at night. Loft ceiling is separating from the rafters with holes directly over the bed. If you are worried about spiders or creepy crawlies falling on you in the night..... On the flip side it was very inexpensive. Outside Turtle Bay grounds were perfect as always with golf courses in perfect condition. The resort was booming and impossible to tell they just came out of bankruptcy everything looked pretty good for April. Long and short you get what you pay for. If this is for the perfect honeymoon get a different condo. If you are a frequent visitor to Turtle Bay/North Shore and want a very inexpensive crash site this is fine. "

"1 Star property
Not a good condo for children or elderly people, bedroom is in a loft with steep staircase. Furniture is worn out and dirty."
Apr 07, 2010 - Robert S., Honolulu, HI

"HOT!
The air conditioner is located on the bottom floor which makes it difficult to cool the loft area where the bed is located. Then we made the mistake of using the dryer and that made the loft area like a sauna."

"microwave didn't work
couldn't find a switch or circuit breaker in condo 126 to give power to the microwave. otherwise very nice, just a bit out of the way for our island itinerary. condo is not near the address of the management office in Kahuku -- it's 4 miles further north."

"Great Location
We enjoyed staying at Turtle Bay Estates! Convenient location to stay when visiting all North Shore attractions. Our unit could have been cleaned better and the furniture was worn - but overall we had a great stay. The kitchen appliances are new and worked great!"

"126W Review
The stairs to the loft are a bit slippery and a bit difficult to manage coming down. My partner slipped and fell the bottom portion of the stairs twice....once getting a rub burn on her arm trying to grasp the armrail. The only way to manage the stairs was to go down sideways!"

"Great golf getaway!
We took advantage of a three-day weekend to get away with friends for two days of golf. The Estates gave us a reasonably priced venue with everything we needed. The unit was right on the No. 3 fairway of the Fazio course, making the view very nice and the setting very quiet. Can't wait to do this again!"

"North Shore Excursion
Weather was the worst in 11 trips to Hawaii, my fifth to the north shore of Oahu and 4th at Kuilima Estates. Need to fix the burned out lights. Watch your head when going up to the loft. Handle on refrigerator is loose, as well as the door lock on the main entrance."
Mar 11, 2009 - Alfred F., Green Lake, WI

"Squeeky Bed
This condo had a great updated kitchen. The condo was a good clean unit. The back screen door had come off the frame and so mosquitos were very welcome and we got eaten alive. The bed was old and squeeky every time we moved the sounds woke us up - so we never slept well.
Next time we'll pay a little extra/night for an upgrade and hope for a better bed and a little more updated condo."

"Fun Place
Great affordable place. My unit had an a/c problem that was not resolved. The weather was perfect so it was not a big deal."

"With Reservations
I love the location at Turtlebay because it is not commercialized in that area. I dislike the location because I can not walk to a grocery store from the condo. I know that would be asking a lot but I wish there was a small grocery close buy. I love being able to walk to everything and like how uncommecialized (ie tourist tarp)the area is. The sleeping area upstairs did smell mildewy, but the rest of the condo was adequate and clean."
Sep 19, 2008 - john p., madison, wisconsin

"Not Acceptable
The location was fine and the manager was helpful. The problem was the condition of the cond. The upstairs loft has mice droppings and you could see a hole where the mice were coming in. If you moved the table and bed it is on wheels out you could seee the droppings. It was totally disgusting. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and acceptable. The down stairs roll out bed was full of sand. I would not recommend this condo."

"Can't Wait to Go Again
Although we live on Oahu, this vacation rental allowed us to feel like we were visiting another island. We enjoyed our stay and was pleased with all the amenities, including a washer & dryer and a fully furnished kitchen."

"Our twentyfifth anniversary trip to Hawaii
The condo was clean but there were these tiny bugs on the kitchen counter. The loft was very hot when we arrived and didn't sleep up there. Wife slept on couch and I slept on twin bed under stairs. Loft bedroom created a safety concern if getting up in the night. "
Aug 21, 2008 - Kenneth B., Highland, Michigan

"Get out of Waikiki!
Great location with several very nice beaches within 10 minutes or so. Close to Wiameia(?) Bay, which is great for snorkeling. No complaints on the condo - it's old but 126W has been recently updated and is pretty nice. "

"We want to come back and we've already sent our friends
Our trip last August was the 2nd time I had stayed at the Estates at Turtle Bay. Both times were a-ma-zing! The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, as opposed to the crowded city down in Honolulu, and it's close to everything wonderful up on the North Shore. I lived in Hawaii for a year and whenever I go back, The Estates at Turtle Bay is the only place I plan to stay."
Jun 19, 2008 - Christopher W., Provo, UT

"Great stay for a great price!
How can I complain? We had all we needed. It's not a top-notch millionaire feeling place, but it's cozy, clean, quiet, convenient, appealing and affordable! We loved it. It had a great kitchen area, a washing machine and dryer, three beds (counting the pull out), nice view of the golf course, just a skip and a jump over to the Turtle Bay resort and beach (so you don't have to pay to park there, you can just walk from your apartment). The location is great for all the local beaches: 10 min to Waimea and Sharks Cove, 10 min the other way to Laie. Eating out is so expensive in Hawaii, so it was nice to have a great big fridge so that we could go shopping at the local grocery store and put everything at our place. We loved it!

The only suggestion I would have is for the owners to leave some games or tennis rackets for the courts, which are right next to the apartment. We give it a 9.5 out of 10."

It was a good stay overall. Very efficient and handy for one person... had everything I needed. The little kids next door were a little noisy at times but generally not too bad at all. "

"Perfect for a small family!!!
We loved staying at Turtle Bay. The resort was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect and so nice to be away frow the city. This condo was small enough for the two of us and didn't feel cramped at all. The air conditioning worked great and we were very comfortable. We would definately return for the low rate and high quality service!!!"

"quiet condo on turtle bay
Great location, easy driving to get to north shore or east coast beaches/attractions. Nice beach on property was only a 5-10 min walk."

"
Property and furnishings are somewhat dated but very adequate. Proximity to Turtle Bay Resort was a plus. Certainly could not beat the price. I would stay here again. "

"unit 126
This was our first time to stay at the Estates of Turtle Bay. This buget unit only had one window airconditioner but, met our general needs. The location was great. Very quiet. Nice landscaping. Golf course view. Chose this area because of the running trails. Also, free parking. We snorkled at the beach area and saw several sea turtles and tropical fish. We are looking forward to returning in May 2008 where we have already booked a nicer unit."
May 19, 2008 - Gary W., Inverness, FL

"Turtle Bay 126 West
I could never get the air conditioning to work. It didn't really matter so much because I had the fan and the open windows. We would like to come back in December and are hoping to do so."
