"2023 summer marathon
Stayed 1 1/2 weeks, Second time staying at Marlin Bay we love Marathon as well as this location. Staff is super top rated. Bartender was great and front office staff is who we dealt with. One issue is with all the non registered guest parking in the driveways and parking vehicles everywhere. Sometimes we had issues coming and going and they emptied there refuse in our cans on garbage days. We won't let a few turds spoil our fun or favorite location. Thank you for having us and we will be back next year in July. "

"Paradise!
I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. Marlin Bay gave us one of the best vacation stays we've ever had. My husband and I visited for a week in late April and stayed in one of the houses (3829). The house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable - looked just like the pictures and had everything we needed for the week, with a grocery store less than 5 minutes up the road. The pool was amazing and so relaxing. We ended almost all of our post-excursion afternoons by spending a few hours unwinding by the pool and grabbing cocktails at the pool bar. Kristin and Steve at the bar were great and fun to talk to, and in general all of the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and seemed just genuinely happy to be there (special shoutout to Isaiah for giving us some great local spots to check out!). Location was great, with plenty to do nearby (Crane Point Hammock and Bahia Honda State Park were fun outdoorsy places) and only an hour drive to Key West, which was perfect for a day trip. And watching the sunset by the water at the marina every night was something else - so serene! We've already told all our friends and family about Marlin Bay and can't wait to bring them with us next time!"

"Beautiful, Clean, and Relaxing
My family had a wonderful vacation at Marlin Bay. Our house had plenty of room for my family to spread out. It was very clean. Cleanliness is a big thing for me and it met my expectations. The grounds of the resort were beautiful. We loved walking out by the Marina and seeing all the ocean life. The pool was nice and spacious. It was always the perfect temperature and never overly crowded. The only complaint was my kids not being able to use balls in the pool. I get that this can out of hand and be annoying to some guests, but when the pool is practically empty, it would be great if there could be a middle ground. "

This was a wonderful place to stay. The home was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The house and grounds were clean and maintained on a daily basis. The pool was immaculate. We walked out to the docks and even the outside grills were exceptionally clean. We would definitely stay again. I am looking forward to when the pool bar offers food. "

"A Wonderful Stay
The house was spotless and very well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings. Bedding and towels all of good quality. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals which we enjoyed on the balcony and roof terrace. The view from the roof terrace is spectacular and there is a very comfy sofa up there. We were really happy that the house had no bugs and the same could be said for the pool area, It's not an easy task in Florida. We had lunch at a different resort and there were ants everywhere so it was good to see that the Marlin is on top of this. The property really is well kept. The communication on booking and pre arrival was really good. Staff on property and security gates give a safe and secure feel. There are rules on the property regarding pool behavior and staff ensured these were adhered to and this made for a pleasant quiet and relaxing stay. Small maintenance issue handled quickly by Buffalo in a professional and friendly manner. Small details make it so nice, for example wine in cans and small bottles at the pool so you are not drinking bottles that have been open a long time. separate towels for outings, pool and the house and plenty of them. Excellent trash service. Marlin Bay restores my faith that there are still places that are interested in providing an excellent customer experience. Very good pool bar for drinks with really lovely staff and great staff on Marina also. Along with the concierge team and Allie and Maggie I can't say enough good things. Marathon is very nice friendly place. We walked to four places for food and our two favorites were the Stuffed Pig and the Overseas Pub and Grill. Good food, good drinks and really good people at both places."

"Wonderful Change of Scenery!
House was gorgeous and perfectly equipped and maintained. Pool lounge chairs were very comfortable. Julie, the bartender was outstanding as was Buffalo, the general go to man, helping around the property. My only criticism is that I would have preferred to have a Keurig coffee machine instead of the Kitchen Aid (which is a good machine but doesn't make very good coffee). Excellent value, can't wait to return."

This place was awesome. We had unit 3829, great rooftop deck and overlooking the pool and still a view of the water. The staff were very friendly, check-in was a breeze and the accommodations live up to the pictures. It had everything you could ever need. We've decided to make this an annual girls' trip. Highly recommend this property. "

"Wonderful getaway
The security is top notch, the grounds are immaculate, unit 3829 was absolutely beautiful. We loved the touch less check in/check out. After coming back from the days events we enjoyed sitting on the roof top patio.
Would have liked to see TVs in all three rooms, more counter space in bathrooms, a larger mirror in a the master bathroom. Other than those minor details I would strongly recommend staying at Marlin Bay. We will definitely be back.

"Vacation in Marathon
We stayed at Marlin Bay Resort in July for 1 week in residence 29.
The house was incredibly nice. Everything we needed was available. A less than 1 minute walk to the marina to get on a boat. The Marina staff is extremely helpful. The entire property is immaculate. We usually don't stay in the same place twice, but we will definitely return and stay at this resort again. Highly recommend it."

"Marlin Bay house rental
Was very good overall, was our second year staying with marlin bay. Only thing we were disappointed in was that there seemed to be a few more rules this year. We are in our mid 30's and not party animals by any means. Last year we sat in the hot tub almost every night until midnight or so with other people from the resort. We were not loud or partying, it seemed fine and no one told us we couldn't. This year we went down a few different nights (just 2 or 3 of us usually to hang out and relax) and we were told pool area was closed and were asked to leave. It isn't a real big deal but kind of a deal breaker for us because one of the main things we enjoyed was being able to hang out in the pool area quietly and not be disturbed, was the main reason we returned to marlin bay this year. Again we were very quite, had no music going and were just sitting in the hot tub quietly. I can totally understand being asked to leave after hours if you are being disruptive."

"Fantastic property!
This is a perfect place to get away from the busy rush of the Keys. Perfectly located 50 minutes north of Key West and surrounded by great dining and snorkel and dive businesses. Comfortable beds, furniture, and a well equipped kitchen. Needs TVs in both guest bedrooms as only the living room and Master has one. "
