"Wonderful little condo!
This condo is perfect for a small group or family! It had 1 bedroom, a twin over twin bunk in the hall, and a sofa sleeper in the living room. It was adequately stocked and supplied with everything we needed. And, it is located right by the elevator so there is no long walks to get to where you’re going!!"

The Condo was very clean and neat. The decor was beachy and appealing.
Not sure the hot water heater was working properly as always ran out of hot water while taking showers. We love Dauphin Island and the location to the Gulf is perfect. "

"Nice Condo, Terrible walk to beach.
Unit 207 is beautifully decorated and is a nice place to stay. The only found two drawbacks to the room. It is advertised to have an electric grill but it didn't have one. And a sleeper sofa was advertised but it was just a regular sofa. We didn't need the sleeper sofa but the grill would have been nice to have had.
The worst part about the stay is the walk to the beach. The boardwalk only extends about half way to beach. From there, I would estimate it is about a 150 foot walk through thick, deep sand to get to the usable part of the beach. It is very hard to walk let alone pull a wagon through it. I would not recommend staying in any of the condos on the island if you are older or have trouble walking. The boardwalks need to be extended to the berm. Hopefully that will happen in the coming years."

"A beautiful and quiet getaway
The only issue (and it was very minor) was that the unit was marketed as having cable tv but it did not. Instead it had a Roku Streaming TV which took a bit of time to figure out. Otherwise a wonderful stay. "

Nice rental, very well decorated, clean enough. well equipped, missing an ironing board however! Would be nice if The Inn had a storage room for people returning later in the year where some things could be stored(we fly in sometimes)."

"Excellent place to relax.
The Good:
I stayed at The Inn with my (now) wife and a few other people. The unit does sleep 6 with some creative planning. The price is great (with respect to other similar options) with beach access and a wonderful view. This is my first stay in a condo, and I really liked having all the functionality of a home.
The Bad:
Not a lot to talk about here. The screen for the sliding door was off the track and needed to be re-screened, but it was early August, so no need to leave the door open. The toilet off the bedroom stopped filling at one point, which was odd, but not unmanageable since there was another toilet, and it started again sometime overnight. The dishwasher is a lower-end unit, so pre-washing is a must, but that's on par for dishwashers it seems.
Overall, an excellent experience with a laid back staff."

"Our NEW place for our weekend get away!
It was our first time coming to Dauphin Island so were not sure what to except when we got there. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff with a warm welcome. We really enjoyed out stay and will revisit for years to come. We know now this is OUR new place to come to for relaxation. Also would recommend SKINNERS SEAFOOD, it is the BEST!"

"Island Paradise
I cannot begin to express how we loved Dauphin Island. There were no crowds and no traffic. The security at The Inn was comforting. The Unit we stayed in (207) was wonderful! We had an ocean view. It was all the comforts of home. Everything was just as described. The condo was clean and ready upon our arrival. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed walks on the beach and kayaking down at West Beach. We went to all the parks and to the fort. The Lighthouse Bakery was the best place for breakfast and deserts! Just a word of caution, if you go to any of the other few local restaurants, GO EARLY! Food was great, but had to wait a long time. Thank you for a great vacation!!! We will be back!!!!"

"Gorgeous and Perfect
My mom, aunt and I rented this unit to have a girls getaway vacation for 7 days. We rented a 1 bedroom but found it to be a perfect size for the three of us. The unit was clean and very organized. We cooked everyday that we stayed and found the unit to be nicely stocked with all utensils that we needed. We honestly don't have ANYTHING to complain about on our stay. We had a perfect vacation, with gorgeous views of the quiet beach and pool area. "

"Girls week on the beach
The Condo was beautiful perfect size. The air conditioner below was a bit loud and hot but not too bad. If I have 1 complaint the owner needs to get new chairs and table for the balcony we spent alot of time out there in the morning and evenings. Beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Condo was pretty clean. Could use a few more BBQ tongs and spatculas. Island is charming."

"We'll be back
Dauphin Island is not someplace for people who demand constant entertainment. Perfect for us. We are more than willing and capable of finding entertainment, and getting acquainted with others who also share that view. What the Island may lack in glitz, it more than compensates with its serenity, its scenery, the people who live there and the people who, like us, migrate to the Gulf Coast for a few months away from frigid winters. We've had four snowbird seasons thus far and look forward to many more. At the Inn."

"Fall Getaway
The condo was great. Great location. Loved the beach- however, it is a long walk to get to the water, even being waterfront location. First time to Dauphin Island and it was nice, if you're only wanting to spend time on the beach. Not much else to do there. Restaurants in the area are sparse and not too great. However, the condo was perfect!!!"

"Unit not clean upon arrival
Floors had not been vacuumed (sunflower seeds all over the master{), paper strips on toilet to give impression of clean, but toilet spattered with waste. Management seemed unconcerned and offered no recourse. Air conditioner under balcony very loud, drowning out ocean. Pans with worn away Teflon made cooking rough."

"A little noisy
We enjoyed the relaxed feel of the island and beaches that were not overcrowded. The unit we occupied was noisy because it was directly above the entrance door to the building and above the air conditioning unit, so sitting on the balcony was not as peaceful as hoped. In the future I would rent an end unit. Dauphin Island is a great place for family vacations."

"The Inn 207
Love Dauphin Island as we have been visiting for 10 years. Since the kids are getting older we stayed half of our time in a condo at Gulf Shores thru Brett/Robinson. Only issue that I had about this trip is that the cost to stay at The Inn was $70 per night more than Gulf Shores which really surprised me as I thought that Gulf Shores was supposed to be expensive. (Condos were comparable.) Thought the Inn used to have a 'repeat customer' discount.
Beach was a little rougher than usual. Didn't like the grass planted half way. Another guest commented on the same thing.
Had a great time and will be back but those where the concerns...."
