Azul Riviera is a landmark Maya architect style villa in Akumal. It is one of the largest villas with over 4000 sq. ft. of living space, easily sleeps 14. Located on Yal-Ku Lagoon, which is an enormous aquarium in your backyard. Gorgeous views and sea life when you enter the lagoon from your private backyard access. The lagoon also offers protection from the seasonal Sargasso grass flow. The exterior party area of the palapa and fountained patio is 1200 sq. ft. adjacent to the large waterfront pool next to the cenote with a private beach area.

The exterior is modeled on a Mayan pyramid, has a huge living room/dining room area with a cathedral ceiling as well as an adjoining fully equipped, Chef;s kitchen w/ commercial Wolf stove, large refrigerator and tons of prep space. The dining room provides enough table seating for 14+ people. Miguel, Azul Riviera's caretaker, is a gifted Chef and can provide breakfast and dinner service. There are two outdoor palapas - a large one for entertaining with a wet bar, tables, chairs, ceiling fans and lights - the other is on the lagoon with lounge chairs. There is also an incredible observation room on the third floor with a 365º view of the lagoon, jungle and ocean. It's also equipped with a day bed for sleeping or a massage. The living room has a 65” Smart TV and fiber optic cable. There is high speed Mesh WIFI which reaches throughout the house, large palapa, fountain and pool areas.

Azul Riviera has four air conditioned bedrooms with lots of beds and three bathrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs with a view of the lagoon, a king-size bed and a huge, private outdoor sun deck. The upstairs master en suite has a deep soaking tub for two shower, WC & bidet. The two downstairs guest rooms both have king sized beds and lofts for children which each contain 2 twin beds. Extra sleeping arrangements include a double sofa bed in one downstairs bedroom, a double day bed in the other as well as a single day bed in the observation room. The children's room is downstairs and has a double bed. The bathrooms are all enormous and offer a lot of privacy. All have showers, there is a Jacuzzi tub & bidet in the downstairs Master bath.

For a small service fee and food cost, Miguel and Legia will cook meals for you in the villa. Stay at Azul Riviera and enjoy the most fantastic vacation!
