This home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 baths upstairs. Located on Mustang Island where you will find some of Port A's best beaches. This home is just steps to the beach and has amazing sunset views over the bay! When you enter this open concept home on the 2nd floor you will find the living room/ dining area and kitchen. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook your catch of the day. The stainless steel appliance and granite counter tops just add to the décor of this wonderful space. Down the hall you will find 4 bedroom and 3 baths. There is 1 King bedroom. 1 Queen bedroom. The third and fourth bedrooms each have a Queen bed and a Twin bed. There is an additional bath for these bedrooms to share. Beach View Estate is the perfect place to relax for a weekend or a full week! No garage access.

"Nice!
A group of 10 people stayed at this property for a holiday weekend. We had just the space we needed. The home is an upstairs unit which well supplied with basics from a hotel except cofre. It would have been nice to have a faucet in the ground floor for rinsing sandy feet before entering the unit. A broom and dust pan were very helpful. You may consider also providing a mop bucket. A bit far from restaurants and supermarkets. Overall very enjoyable stay."

"Nice house but some issues
Really nice house but no lights on the stairs or front of the house. They had dinky solar lights that got no sun so they didn’t last any time at night. Very dark and dangerous to go out at night or before dawn. Otherwise a very clean nice house. "

"A nice stay
Overall it was a nice stay. It had the bare necessities. There are a few things that could be upgraded to make the stay much more comfortable that would cause much better reviews.
Be sure to bring extra blankets because there are not any extras. Also, in the pictures it shows a ping pong table. If you only book the upstairs the ping pong table is not part of that.
I found out if one part is rented then they don’t rent the other part out. So I’m not sure why they could not give access to things on the bottom floor. All in al we had the bare necessities.
We most likely will not stay here again, but it was fine for what we needed. "

"New and clean
I would have say the house was nice but not very welcoming. It was new and really well taken care of. The ac worked great. The tv didn't work at all. No programming worth watching. Absolutely no area to lounge. No patio or deck. Had to go to the beach to get scenery. I would say the place was nice on a scale of 1- 10, I would give it a 7.5.

"GG vacay 2020
This rental was great, we had nine people and we were all very comfortable. A/C worked great! We did not even turn a TV on so I cannot comment on if they worked or not. Washer/dryer worked great! I would bring a hose for the water faucet by garage so you can wash feet off. There is a water facet by door upstairs as well. There was plenty of bath towels. There was one sofa bed for sure not sure if they both sofas are. Bring sheets for them if you plan on using. Short walk to the boardwalk that is at end of boardwalk. Very quiet street. Quality of furniture was good, beds comfortable...decor was lacking. I know this may sound petty but I wish the rooms with two beds had matching bed comforters it just seemed thrown together, no bed skirts. Bring hangers for clothes. Plenty of storage. Overall a great stay! "

"READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!!
The unit IS on the second floor. There is basically nothing good in kitchen to bake with...bring your own supplies including a good wine opener. Their utensils seem like they are from the Dollar Store. The Boardwalk entry is at the end of he cul de sac....looks like it belongs to the house next to it, but it is for the entire street. If you stream your channels on TV, be prepared to bring ALL of your passcode to sign into channels. This is the only way to watch TV. Bring extra blankets if you like to sleep with cold air at night. Coverlets for beds a very thin."

"Comfortable & Relaxing
Was very surprised of the excellent furnishings of the home and how comfortable it felt. Very well furnished to make one feel at home. Short walk to the beach and short drive to town. Needed a place to be able to bring our 2 dogs, one is 15.5 and too old to board. Great service from the management company. Would highly recommend."

"April visit
Port Aransas Escapes is AWESOME and the maintenance man was very good and cheerful. He set up a Hotspot so we could have TV. I will definitely go through Port A Escapes again,
There is no TV service, WiFi or Internet in this house!!! I will not stay in this house again for that reason.
Also, the bathroom plugs do not work in the hallway bathroom or the back bedroom bathroom. "

"Great Location, Needs a Little Improvement
Although new construction home, house was scarce of necessities. Had to go to the store for laundry detergent, bathroom tissue, and condiments like salt and pepper. We are frequent renters year round to mustang island, and the house did not have a warm island feel with decor-more like bare rooms put together. Location to beach was great-but watch out for huge mosauitos walking from the house to the boardwalk. Someone needs to spray that area for guests who walk to the beach. For convenience, put the lock boxes on the house so we dont have to drive all the way to town and then back out just to checkin and check out.

"Good but not Great
Loved being able to bring our dog but the yard was full of sandburs. The garage and 1st floor is being used for a construction storage and office. I will have to say the management office was quick to respond to notify them to leave during our stay. Also, the website shows there is cable and satellite tv, which is untrue. The TV's are ROKU and you have to have a ROKU account to operate them. The beach was lovely and uncrowded even on Labor Day. Next time we will stay in a more developed neighborhood to avoid the sandburs, and it would be nice to have a balcony."

"Relax on the beach
This rental home is fairly new. Great location on the island. It's about 5 minutes from the hustle of Port A. A little walk gets you to the boardwalk to cross the dunes and be on the sand. The kitchen is very minimally stocked with pots pans and utensils. For example no grater, no blinder, very few kitchen tools so if you love to cook be prepared to scratch by or hit the doolar general. The place was in need of many minor repairs that I informed the management team, like dishwasher falling out of cabinet, 3 lights not working, the dryer was broken, towel racks barely hanging on. The downstairs entrance was completely disgusting, it isn't an entrance you can use but you walk right by it. Trash and dirt all over the floor there. The inside wasn't swept when we arrived or if it was it wasn't swept good. It was a good place to sleep and relax at the beach overall. It needs some more attention to detail to be a great place."

"Very Disappointed
Rented this for a long weekend with another family and while the house was new construction we certainly did not have the amenities of a new beach house. The shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was literally hanging by 2 ribbons. The dishwasher did not drain properly so when you opened the front, water spilled out onto the floor. The dishwasher was not secured and fell out of the cabinet every time you opened it. Lights over the bar did not work. The table leg of the end table was not secured and fell off when my toddler leaned on it. The dryer got hot but did not dry the clothes or towels it was like the blower was broken or something. There were cobwebs in the corner of the living room ceiling. There was no toilet paper in the hall bathroom when we arrived. The first night the maintenance guy came over to take the table away and check the lights which he could never get to work and the cleaning ladies brought a new shower curtain over with some toilet paper and extra towels. But by the time we figured out the dishwasher was messed up and the dryer did not work the next day it was pointless to call maintenance back out again as we were only there 3 days and had already dealt with maintenance coming and going the first night we were there. We paid a lot more to have the convenience of a beach house and the 2 main amenities that were offered not only did not work but were a safety hazard. We reported all of the issues upon checking out on Sunday and I watched as the agent at the desk wrote it down. We never heard anything from the leasing office or management company about our experience or issues we dealt with. The outside shower to use after returning from the beach is on the back of the house in knee high grass on the side of a hill with no walkway to access it. Very disappointing experience for the amount of money we spent. Had all of those issues not occured it would have been a nice place. Save your money and get a condo right on the beach. "

"Scam property
Not as was advertised. No cable, not even close to the water. No boardwalk. Had to drive to the beach. We are all in our 60’s Having to haul everything up the stairs because the garage was locked was hard. It was not at all as the picture looks and not worth the price"

"Hits and misses
Pros: close location to a beautiful beach. Spacious. Nice toiletries. Water spigot and deck convenient for cleaning up after the beach. Roku TV.

Cons: housekeeping was an utter joke. The rental charges over $150 added to your bill as a housekeeping surcharge, then they threaten to charge you substantial amounts of other surcharges if you don't do all of your own housekeeping. You're expected to even run the dishes, collect ALL trash AND take it down to the bins and also the bins to the street, and even adjust the thermostat to their liking. If you fail to do this or a number of other things on a lengthy list, you face fines. It was utterly ridiculous. I don't pay for a rental, then additionally for housekeeping, just to have to do all of that or pay more.

Other issues included appliances that didn't work (dryer and dishwasher) and broken cutlery."

"Summer Fishing Trip
We rented the house for a group of people with a deep sea fishing trip planned for the guys and a beach day for the girls. It did not disappoint. We could walk to the beach over the board walk. There is not a beach access road nearby so it was relatively quiet and clean along that stretch of beach. The house had a couple of items that need looking into (light bulbs, trash bags, etc.) but nothing that hindered our stay. It was clean and quiet - just how we like it!"

"Great location and quite neighborhood
Everything in the rental was brand new and clean. The neighborhood is quite and just a short walk down the street and across the private boardwalk to the beach. Great for families and loved that we could take our fur babies with us."
