Stay in Hilo Lagoon Centre Unit 701 for a cosmopolitan vibe in the heart of Hilo, Hawaii. Walk to our quaint downtown restaurants, shops, and ocean parks! With outstanding views of mountains and the ocean from the condo, you'll never forget you're in one of the best towns in Hawaii. Enjoy any of the three balconies in our condo with a bird's eye view of town. The condo has two bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. The central kitchen and living room separates the bedrooms for privacy. Four barstools offer easy seating and our fully stocked kitchen is convenient for cooking. The main bedroom boasts a California King bed, dresser, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two XL Twin beds, dresser, closet and ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower. The living room is very comfortable with a couch and two arm chairs for enjoying the entertainment of streaming TV and WiFi service.

Air Conditioning is central through three handlers to control temperature in three zones (main area, main bedroom, second bedroom).

The condo building has an outdoor swimming pool that you are invited to use during your stay. Guests agree to follow Hilo Lagoon Centre Pool Rules, Mahalo!

There is a common laundry room on the floor for your use. Please note the laundry machines are coin operated and require quarters.

ONE parking space is included for the duration of your stay with us.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY (not applicable to Hale Kai Suites. See section f, below): To offer you the best services possible, we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Guest shall inform Agent in writing of Guest’s intention to cancel the reservation. (For reservations made through third parties, additional cancellation policies may apply.) The cancellation policy is as follows:
a. If Cancellation notice is received thirty or more days (30+) prior to the check-in date, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be retained and the balance will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
b. If Cancellation notice is received less than thirty days but at least fifteen days (15-29) prior to the check-in date, fifty percent (50%) of the booking amount of rent and taxes will be forfeited. Half of the rent, tax, security deposit or damage waiver and any pre-collected cleaning fees will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
c. NO REFUNDS if cancelled within 14 days of arrival (0 – 14). As a courtesy to our Guest, if Agent can rebook any portion of the canceled reservation, Guest will be refunded to the extent that Agent is able to re-book the Property.
d. This loss can be avoided if Travel Protection Insurance was purchased and the reason for cancelation is covered under the travel insurance policy. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing.
e. Owner/Agent Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that the Property becomes unavailable for any part of the tenancy for reasons beyond the control of the Agent, including but not limited to the sale of the property, Owner and/or Agent may cancel this Agreement and refund in full to the Guest all payments made. Agent will assist in procuring similar alternative accommodation should this situation arise. Guest agrees that any claims against Owner/Agent arising out of performance or
non-performance under this agreement shall be limited to a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest.
f. Hale Kai Suites Cancellation Policy: The guest may cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival. No $75 cancellation fee charged on Hale Kai Suites cancellations.

"Older building but condo was awesome
The condo itself was awesome totally renovated and super clean .The building is old and could use updating and hallways smelt old and musty . And whoever thought lava for the pool deck needs to rethink that. Location was wonderful. "

Not often do the pictures accurately depict what the units are really like once you arrive, but these definitely do!

Everything was handled professionally and with the right level of communication from the rental to the check-in and check-out processes.

The location was perfect for excursions to Volcanoes National Park, several waterfalls, caves, ziplining, hiking, and beaches.

Next time we come back to the Island we will definitely try to book this unit again. "

"Great location in Hilo Town!
This was a great stay and was the unit matched the description. Everything you need was at the unit. The King sized bed in the master bedroom was very comfy. The location was great - centrally located in Hilo Town. Communication with the hosts was easy - they responded right away. Two comments - neither are a deal breaker. 1) Maybe a TV in the master bedroom? This is just a me preference and not at all a ding on the unit. It would have helped me relax after long days of adventuring...and speaking of long days, 2) I think that it should be made more clear what time the doors in the building lock. We came back late one night and was chewed out by the security guard because we didn't have a building key and couldn't access the elevator. Now, we should have known that the building key was on the lanyard with the pool key, but that wasn't made clear. Nor was the "yellow," sheet with guest information made aware to us until we were scolded by the security guard. Perhaps the key and the yellow paper should be item number 1 in the unit's information binder.

Again, not deal breakers at all as we really enjoyed our stay. Mahalo!!"
