Miami Vice meets Bonita Springs in this beautiful beachfront home on Bonita Beach. This home features three levels of unparalleled architectural style, breathtaking sunsets and stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Casa Bonita is located on Bonita Beach and is a short walk from water sport rentals and Doc’s Beach House. Within a few miles you will also find restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

The ground level (1st floor) consists of casual living, dining, bathroom and entertaining areas as well as a 4-car garage. - The main level (2nd floor) consists of the formal living, dining room (seats 14 total), kitchen and three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed with a private bathroom, the second bedroom has two full size beds, and the third bedroom has a queen size bed. The second and third bedroom share a bathroom. The Master Suite (3rd floor) features a king size bed, bathroom, floor to ceiling windows, and private terraces. -

Although contemporary in style, this home has been furnished with comfort in mind. Enjoy spectacular sunsets in the many outdoor lounging and seating areas. - This home is owned by the original owners who built it in the '80s. As such, the home still has some of its original features, including original doors and windows, kitchen cabinets, and even some of the bath fixtures and appliances. - Many of our repeat guests stay with us for the stunning beach setting, unforgettable sunsets, and large gathering spaces.

PARKING: 4-car garage and large expansive driveway for parking.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4PM and check-out is by 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out can be arranged, please inquire about pricing when booking. Availability will be confirmed closer to reservation date.

It’s outfitted with a full stove/oven, all your cookware, cutlery, plates, bowls and cups. There is also a coffee pot and a toaster.

CANCELLATIONS:

A 60 day Notice of Cancellation is required on all bookings to avoid any balance due charges. After the 60th day prior to check in, 20% of the booking is non-refundable but the remaining nights will be fully refunded. After the 30th day prior to check in, there are no refunds. In all cases the administration fee will not be refunded should the booking be cancelled for any reason.
For reservations that exceed 60 nights in duration, the booking may be cancelled after the reservation has begun by providing 60 day notice of intent to vacate the home. Any monies paid in advance for nights paid beyond the notice period will be fully refunded.
There is no refund for early departures, no shows,bad weather, late arrival or departures. Only the guest named on the rental agreement may cancel reservations and it must be in writing or via email. VL cannot refund any amount of your stay for circumstances outside of our control such as, Acts of God, severe weather conditions, failure of public utilities, mechanical or appliance failures, wifi failures, etc. No reservations may be changed or shortened under the same rules as stated above.

If there is a verified government restriction on travel from the guests’ origin of travel or the destination of travel, all booking amounts, including tax and fees may be moved to a new booking within 12 months at no charge.
In the event the home is unavailable because of property sale, fire, mandatory evacuation, eminent domain , holdover of prior guest or act of nature, or if the home is unavailable because of construction delays or because of lack of utilities, our Rental Agreement states that you agree that VL’s sole liability, as a result of any of these conditions, is a full refund of all payments received from you. You expressly acknowledge that in no event shall VL be held liable for any sequential or secondary damages, including but not limited to relocation or additional travel expenses or for any other loss.
Travel/Cancellation Insurance is HIGHLY recommended and is available for an additional cost. To minimize these charges, please notify us as soon as possible if there are any changes to your plans.

"Special Family Rental
We rented his house for a family vacation in February. We had eight adults and two kids, and one fantastic time. The house is very clean and perfect for a special getaway with family. There is plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and have fun. Yes, it’s dated, but the sunsets and location easily made up for it. Geraldine and her team did a great job making the experience wonderful."

"Casa Bonita Stay
We stayed at this rental property for Thanksgiving week 2019. The pictures online were beautiful and we were very much looking forward to our stay. Upon entering the rental property it was obvious that the previous review stating that the property was a bit tired was spot on. The property was very clean and smelled very strongly of cleaner since the cleaning crew was just leaving at our check in. First the negatives: The windows, while big and beautiful, had cracks in the reflective surface which detracted from the beauty of the ocean view both in the main room and the upper king suite. Some of the handles on the sliding glass doors were broken and almost all of the sliders were unlocked and very difficult to lock when we left the property. The glass blocks in the hallway, while covered by curtains are broken and have mold growing inside them. The furniture needs updating. The bed in the upper king room was ok according to the guest who stayed in there but the lower lever king room mattress was awful. I realize its a rental but when your back is sore for a week after renting a home that's not ideal. The rug in the main room is stained. They aren't super obvious but they are there. The kitchen needs updating. The microwave is so old its yellow. The lighting system is difficult to figure out. The intercom system and speakers in the rooms are old, yellow and in some cases cracked and broken. Garage door remote openers did not function.
On the plus side its a beautiful location. Plenty of space for 2-3 families. Lots of toys, towels, and dishes. Space to have family dinners. Air conditioning worked great. Sheets, towels and home were very clean. But honestly we expected a less run down home for $1000 a night. I would not recommend this party to a friend for this amount of money. "

"Great Location that Needs a face lift inside
The house is stunning and the location is perfect. However, I do feel the inside needs LOTS of work. The furniture is very outdated, the couch in the great room appears to be falling apart. There are holes in the wall. Pet urine stains on the rug in the big living area and when pulling out extra blankets from a closet they to had some type of stain on them along with an odor. This property advertises 5 bedrooms however it is only 4. With all that being said, the house is really a great property but the pictures online are certainly from when the home was built. Again, it needs a lot of tender, love and care."

"Getaway from the Midwest Winter......
You cannot beat the sunsets and the location of this home. This place really looks like it was used on the set of Miami Vice....was expecting to see Sunny and Tubbs greet us at the door. We have a family of 7 and rented this home for a week in February 2019 to escape the Polar Vortex. The house was probably built in the 1980's and the bathrooms and some fixtures are dated. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances, cookware, and utensils for people that like to cook. The house had a great layout for our family and the location is perfect (on the beach, close to Doc's and just a 2 mile ride to Publix). There was also a patio area downstairs where you could grill and have dinner as well. They also had beach toys, chairs, chaise lounges, a paddle board, to bring out to the beach. We would rank this house as a solid 4....and with a little upgrading, this place would be a 5. Our family would certainly come back and rent this home again. "

The location and property could not be better. The house is very spacious and has everything you need for a great vacation. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, etc. We walked to Doc's Beach House right along the beach in less than 5 minutes. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Georgeous beachfront getaway
We had a wonderful experience at the modern Casa Bonita. The furnishings and architecture are delightfully contemporary and the jaw-dropping views of the ocean were carefully considered throughout the entire house. The house was very clean and offered a fully functioning kitchen. Only updating needed would be some of master bathroom and kitchen, but everything was very functional and the overall stay is incredible. "

"A beautiful property with just a few warts
We LOVED the location and the house design. All was excellent. The house was not clean when we arrived, and there were a series of easily avoidable annoyances (for instance there are unuusual light switches, and we were given no instruction or literature about them. In general though, it ws an excellent stay. We loved the beach, the plethora of lounging locations, and , once the air conditioning was fixed, the whole environment. The fountain outside was not functioning, which felt a little "ghetto".
The property manager was attentive, and the major AC problem was fixed and addressed satisfactorily. Overall though, an excellent experience. i would develop and include a notebook of instructions, nearby attractions, and functional description of systems."
