Enjoy your vacation with the best view of Lake Tahoe. This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom 3 story log cabin sits atop Zephyr Heights and has views of Heavenly Ski resort and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Relax in the hot tub after a day at the beach or after a day of skiing. There is a BBQ on the deck along with patio furniture, the perfect place to BBQ with the family and watch the sunset over the lake.
The two car garage is available for the renters. Two minutes from Zephyr Cove beach, four minutes to Heavenly Valley ski resort and four minutes to the casinos. On the level with the deck is the mail living area with kitchen, living room, dining area, a full shared bathroom, BR1 queen and BR2 is a small bedroom with a twin bed. Upstairs is the BR3 master bedroom with a king and a full bathroom, BR4 with a queen & a twin with a full bathroom. The laundry area is also on this level. Both of these bedrooms have a door out to a balcony overlooking the lake.

This home does have a steep driveway, this comes along with having an amazing view atop the hill. Please be prepared in the winter months. There are stairs in the home, this is a 3 story home.


Occupancy Rules:
*Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.
*You are only allowed 8 persons at any time at the house. This includes any diners or gatherings you may have.
*Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm TO 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.
* Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
*Parking: 5 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Failure to comply will result in loss of security deposit.
*Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow.

~In the winter we keep all of the deck furniture in the garage and it is not available for use. Because of winds and snow we must store the furniture.

Please read and sign our rental agreement, cancellation policy, house, and city rules for vacation rentals. 
Thank you for booking your vacation with INC. (WCPM) Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental by abiding by the neighborhood rules. 

Cancellation Policy:
Coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other sickness or illness: WCPM advises that every traveler purchase a traveler’s insurance policy at the time of booking. WCMP is not a traveler insurance provider and will NOT accept any cancelation due to any Coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other sickness or illness outside of our normal 45-day cancelation policy. WCPM does not sell travelers insurance and does not have a recommendation of what traveler’s insurance company any traveler should use.
At the time of booking you agreed to this cancellation policy. Written confirmation of cancellation MUST be received prior to 45 days of check in date. You may cancel up to 46 days before arrival with a forfeiture of the booking fee. Cancellation of 45 days or less to check in date, forfeits all rent, taxes, cleaning fee and reservation costs. Up to 21 days from check in, renters do have the option of taking a 100% credit towards a future stay for the same property to be used within one year of the original stay dates, or a 50% refund. The 50% refund is 50% of the entire amount paid including all fees and taxes.  Within 20 days from check in there is no option to reschedule the trip or receive any refunds. New trip must be scheduled within one year of original arrival date. Changing stay dates are subject to different pricing as there are different pricing for all seasons. If you change to a higher price season you will be responsible for new pricing charge. Changing dates to lower price season: there is no refund of lower cost. If you change your stay dates up to 21 days to the date of check in this means you are paid in full and there will be no change to the cancellation policy. This cancellation policy will indefinitely apply to the original stay dates. If you would like to move your stay dates, we will only move the stay dates one time.
WCPM reserves the right to refuse service.


Weather and “events” cancelations:
There will be no refunds due to events out of our control. These types of “events” are, but not
limited to, ski resort closures, event cancellations, casino closures, fear of travel, and OR pandemic and or epidemic, stormy weather, or power outages, forest fires, smoke/Air quality or other acts of mother nature out of our control. During stormy weather, forest fires or other acts of God, no refunds unless all roads to Tahoe are completely closed for twelve (12) consecutive hours or more on the date of your arrival. Your reservation is valid for the remainder of the time. Road Conditions: or from California Again, WCPM advises that every traveler purchase a traveler’s insurance policy at the time of booking.
We have no control over weather conditions that may result in accidents of any kind to personal property and or personal injury. Occupants agree to hold property owners and , Inc., harmless if any damage to self or personal property happens, example but not limited to: a vehicle sliding on ice results in an accident, loss or injury due to rain, snow, ice, trees, flood, negligence, fire, theft, utility power outages or any reason. Please callwhen reporting an accident at the property so that we may be of assistance if possible.
 -Yes, it snows in Tahoe in the winter, we are next to Heavenly Ski resort after all. Please be prepared for longer travel times during storms as traffic can get backed up. It is your responsibility to know the road conditions and to have the proper chains and or snow tires required by officials to travel through snowy mountain roads. The city or county does the snow plowing through neighborhood roads and that operation is out of our control.
 
Payments:
The name on the reservation and the name on the credit card used must be the same. If you choose to use another credit card for the balance: You and any guest in your party whose credit card was used as payment, acknowledge by signing this contract that you and any guest in your party waive all rights to dispute any credit charge for rents, fees and taxes and or charges as listed with in this contract no matter who’s credit card was used as payment, made by our company , WCPM, World CPM or otherwise listed on your credit card statement. A reservation can be made with a 25% down payment paid by credit card when the reservation is made. If your credit card is declined at the time of booking the reservation will be canceled for nonpayment. Full payment is charged 45 days prior to scheduled arrival date. If a check or money order is not received by the due date, the balance will be charged to your credit card. The credit card must have an expiration date that extends beyond your stay. If a reservation is made less than 45 days prior to arrival, full payment is due when the reservation is made. If no other payment is received 45 days prior to arrival, we will automatically run the balance on the credit card on file. Balance is due no later than 45 days prior to your arrival date. We can keep the balance payment on the same credit card used for the initial payment, you can call with a different card, or a check or money order can be issued at least 45 days prior to your arrival.      (Contract.Initials)

Occupancy & Damage rules for vacation rentals:
- Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house.
This includes any beach front property. You will be shut down immediately.
- (Property.Custom7) The county/city only permits a certain amount of people allowed at each vacation home and we must follow this to keep our permit.
- (Property.Custom1) Per fire safety and County/City rules, street parking is not allowed. Please see any notes in the home on where to park. Failure to comply will result in possible eviction and or your vehicle being towed at owners’ expense. If you have questions, please call us. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the person of the vehicle.
- You and your party will be evicted and forfeiture of all rents and deposits if found to be in violation of gross misconduct, damage, disturbing the peace, higher than permitted occupancy than agreed, unauthorized use for weddings, receptions, parties, or loud group functions.
NOISE ORDINANCE 9:00pm TO 8:00am DAILY in every neighborhood no matter the situation.
- There will be no outside congregation after 9pm.
-There will only be one warning for violation of noise ordinance, after the first warning if the violation continues it will result in eviction with no refunds.
- Management reserves the right to inspect the property for over occupancy, noise or other
violations of County and State Laws. Occupants may be subject to fines in accordance with the
County or State, eviction and forfeiture of all charges if found to be in violation.
-Smoking is a fire danger, please properly dispose of any cigarette butts.
-  (WCPM) reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if WCPM deems a renter un-fit to rent any property during the booking process and or during the stay.  


Additional charges/fines that may result if:
-Any lost or misplaced keys will be charged $150+ per key for a locksmith. 
-Any lost or misplaced garage door openers, beach passes or pool passes (if applicalbe) will be charged a min of $200 for replacement. If you accidentally left one in your car, please notify us and mail back.
-There will be extra cleaning/replacement cost fees if we find: Damage to house, missing items such as towels, extraordinary cleaning, trash throughout the house, trash outside the house, cigarette butts, etc. Please pick up after yourself.
-If the house you are renting has a propane BBQ: do not for any reason put charcoal in the BBQ! Yes, we have had this happen and it ruins the propane BBQ!
- PETS: We love fur babies, but they are not permitted in our vacation rentals unless allowed and approved by . No pets of any kind, for any amount of time, are allowed in house or on property, unless you are in a unit that is specified to allow pets and approved.  Anytime also means that you cannot have a pet in the house for the day or a few hours, example: if a friend visits and they have their pet with them. If there is any evidence of pets it will result in extra cleaning charges, min of $250. This is inside or outside of unit. Service animals must be approved by . If you have rented a home that is pet friendly, please pick up after them.
-NO SMOKING of any kind in any house or on property. Evidence of smoking will result in a min $400 charge for cleaning. You will be charged for steam cleaning and all damages. Any picking up of cigarette butts in the yard, driveway, and patio could result in extra cleaning fees. Unfortunately we have had to implement this no smoking rules, too many people have violated this and have left cigarette butts in yards, driveways and decks. Please clean up after yourself. Thank you.
-Please do not move furniture around. Example: if you move beds around this will result in extra fees to put the beds back where they need to be. Also moving furniture around could result in scratching the floors. 
-All boots, ski equipment, etc., are ONLY allowed in the garage, mud rooms and or designated
area. Ski & snowboarding equipment, and melting snow, will damage hardwood flooring, carpet and walls and are NOT allowed inside the house.
-Fireworks of any kind including sparklers, fire pits- metal or other, campfires, charcoal BBQ’s or any kind of outdoor fire is illegal in all of Lake Tahoe. If you are found to have violated this, you
may face the fines from the County and fire department. If we find evidence of fireworks being used from your party; we will share this information with the fire department. We take fire safety very seriously in all of Lake Tahoe, we are in a high fire danger area.
 
This may seem strict, but we must follow the rules set in place by the county/city to keep renting our home. Thank you for following the rules.

$500 minimum charge if management, security, fire department, police, or any
emergency officials are called to property for any type of disturbance other than
medical emergency.

As a condition to the rental of all Vacation Properties, WCPM reserves the right to charge the Guest’s credit card for any and all uncovered Guest/Invitee caused losses, damages or violations of county code sustained to the Vacation Property throughout the duration of their period of occupancy. In the event of any uncovered Guest/Invitee-caused loss or damage to the Vacation Property, including, but not limited to, undue cleaning, eviction, service calls, service charges, fines/assessments, repairs or replacements, violations of county code, plus all applicable taxes, WCPM is hereby granted the right to charge the Guest's credit card. An itemized statement outlining all associated costs will be sent via regular or electronic mail to the address submitted by the Guest at such time as the reservation was booked.

Maintenance, operation, housekeeping etc.:  
- We want you to enjoy your stay and be comfortable at the house you have rented. If there is a
problem with housekeeping, maintenance, operation of any appliance or hot tub etc.; AND it is not reported to us there will be no refunds at all. Once a problem is reported to us, we will do our best to remedy or fix the problem, this is not reason for any refunds. If we are not given the chance to remedy or fix any problem, there will be no refund. Anything that is reported unsatisfactory after your stay will not be reason for refund.
-There are no refunds if you find your lodging to be unsatisfactory.
-We do our best to maintain operation of indoor & outdoor items (Jacuzzi, barbecues, patio
furniture, table games, etc.). Should maintenance to these items cause temporary loss of use, that will not be a cause for refund or compensation. All tenants will be promptly notified prior to arrival if such conditions become apparent. If such items become inoperable during your stay and only if we are notified, we will do our best to get items back up and running during your stay.
-If a maintenance emergency occurs on the property, please callto report the problem, please do not e-mail us with emergencies as e-mails are not checked 24/7. We like to fix any problems as soon as we can and will make every effort to correct the problem as soon as possible.
 
Wildlife:  
The area is highly populated by bears, as well as raccoons, coyotes, etc. Please DO
NOT feed them. While we appreciate them, we do not appreciate them after they have broken into our home because they are used to being fed there. Do not leave food or trash outside or you will be charged extra for cleaning. As a local “bear” rule DO NOT to leave food in your vehicle as the bears are very smart and pesky, they have been known to break into vehicles to get anything they think may be food.
 
Amenities provided & Not provided:
We will provide a start-up supply of paper towels (2), toilet paper (4 per bathroom), trash bags, hand soap and kitchen soap. All bath and kitchen towels, linens, blankets or comforters, and pillows are provided. We also supply basic pots and pans, flatware, dishes, bowls, cups & basic cooking utensils. As every house is privately owned, items in the kitchen and bedding may vary from house to house.
We do NOT provide hygiene items such as face/body soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry soap, softener, dryer sheets, etc. We do NOT supply items such as plastic wrap, foil, plastic bags, food items, spices, oils, coffee etc.
 
Hot Tub Rules (If Applicable):
Use of outdoor hot tubs is prohibited between the hours of 9pm and 8am per county noise ordinances. If you drink in the hot tub, please be careful not to spill any beverage in the water.
Extraordinary cleaning or misuse of the hot tub will be a minimum of $200 extra fee.
Example: if you have overloaded the hot tub with people and the water has been displaced very far below the line of the jets causing mechanical problems with the tub. Please be sure to replace the cover and lock when not in use. You must be 18 years of age or older to use hot tub. The hot tub is serviced before and after every rental to ensure the water is clean and safe for use. If there is any issue with the hot tub upon ARRIVAL, please notify us
immediately. USE HOT TUB AT YOUR OWN RISK, we are not to be held liable for any skin irritation that may be caused using the hot tub.
  
Other rules and or Information:
- If you have rented a house with bunk beds; you are using the bunk beds at your own risk and waive the owner and management company harmless during your stay.
-Please do not sled or play in any neighbor’s yard.
-If you have rented a house in a neighborhood with a private beach please do not walk through any neighbor’s yard to access the beach. And please pick up after yourself so that we may continue to use the private beach.
-We want our guests to thoroughly enjoy their time in Lake Tahoe, so we want to make you aware of certain conditions at high altitude. The house is located at approximately 7000 to 8000 ft. in elevation. For those of our tenants unfamiliar with high altitude or arriving from sea level, the air is VERY dry so be sure to bring plenty of moisturizer, lip balm, sunscreen and please stay hydrated. You are closer to the sun here so you will get burned much quicker than you would normally at home. High altitude can cause headaches, dehydration, and insomnia. Alcohol consumption is also magnified and can affect you much quicker than you are used to.
CELL PHONES: Most carriers work at lake level. Be advised, though, that once you get up in the mountains it is possible that most carriers will not work.

 
Check in and Check out:
-Check in time is 4pm; Checkout is by 10:00am. Early check in or late checkout that has not been approved will result in extra rental fees. We will not give a late check out if requested any later than 3pm the day prior to check out and will only be allowed if available.
-Checkout procedures are also posted in each home: Place dishes in dishwasher and start a cycle. Pick up kitchen, do not leave food on counter or on stove in pots or pans. Trash is to be placed in specified area, example: garage, mud room or bear box and bagged up -no loose trash-. All trash, including bathrooms, kitchen & any outside area must be gathered, put into trash bags then placed in specified area. Please do not leave trash outside of house as you are in the mountains and wild animals will get into trash resulting in extra cleaning fees. Please lock doors, place key in lock box (if applicable) and, for security, tumble the lock code so
the combination is not showing, close all windows and set heater at 55 degrees, or to posted
temperature, prior to departure. And we hope you enjoyed your stay!

 Be advised that when snow removal conditions exist, driveways, parking areas and walkways can become extremely slippery – please use caution. Property users will keep driveway clear of any and all objects that could cause damage to snow removal equipment.
~Driveways  will be cleared when snowfall accumulation reaches 6 (six) inches and greater. Due to the unpredictability of snowstorms and conditions we guarantee that our crew will be to your property within 24 hours of a 6+ inch accumulation.
~ We will not guarantee a specific time that your driveway will be cleared due to the uncertainty of snowstorms. Routes are 8-12 hours long and start as weather conditions require. 
~ I understand that as soon as 6 (six) inches of snow accumulates the snow removal crew is in route and will be to my property within 24 hours. I understand that during a big snowstorm, snow may accumulate as quickly as a foot or more per hour. I understand that after my property has been cleared and accumulations again reach 6+” the snow removal crew will be back to my property within 24 hours of their last visit.
· There is no street parking at all during the winter due to the snowplows needing full access to the entire road.
· We have no control over weather conditions that may result in accidents of any kind to personal property and or personal injury.
 
Occupants agree to hold property owners and , Inc., harmless if any damage to self or personal property happens, example but not limited to: a vehicle sliding on ice results in an accident, loss or injury due to rain, snow, ice, flood, negligence, fire, theft, utility power outages or any reason. Please callIMMEDIATELY when reporting an accident at the property.
During stormy weather, forest fires or other acts of God, no refunds unless all roads to Tahoe are completely closed for twelve (12) consecutive hours or more prior to the date of your arrival. The view was truly spectacular. The house was a beautiful house and it was clean. There were a few problems. There weren't enough simple amenities. Thee was no plug in the sink so we couldn't really wash dishes. The only thing really provided was toilet paper and paper towels. The deck had just a few cushions for the chairs and the railing was burnt from a fire and a little wobbly. Renters definitely need to be notified about the driveway which is extraordinarily steep. The house just seemed neglected. I would recommend this property but with reservations. "

"Unbelievable views and great location
Very easy process to get the rental handled. Check in was simple and flexible.

The property itself has unbelievable views. The pictures are representative and if anything understated. The house is a log cabin which is a bit on the "creaky" side (especially on the deck) but is functional and cozy. The driveway is quite steep and very narrow, so if you're not comfortable with backing up make sure you understand. I had no problem backing in a large SUV, but if you aren't used to it it may be a concern to you.

The house has four bedrooms and one is very small. The others are quite functional and the master is enormous. One bathroom on the main level and then two ensuite upstairs, all are great. There is a large garage you can easily fit two cars into. It was a little bit dusty but clean enough for our group of guys.

Overall a great time, would absolutely book it again."

I messaged them prior to arrival and asked if I need firewood for fireplace they responded it is gas which was a lie and I wasnt prepared with wood. I have rented a lot of cabins and this one is so worth the money. Eric was always available and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. The cabin was clean and had all the supplies we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The spa was very clean and already heated for us upon our arrival. The view was so amazing!!! "WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY - DO NOT USE
I've never had a customer service experience as terrible as my experience with WCPM. There are plenty of other houses/mgmt co's to use in Tahoe. There were several things broken/not working - most notably the hot tub - but I have no major complaints with the house itself. I called the management company immediately upon arrival about the hot tub, the water was down to the seats and not hot. They instructed me to "just add water" to which we did. A few hours later after filling the hot tub, the water was back down to the seats. We called the next morning and were instructed to write an email. I wrote an email and included the various other things broken in the house (doors that wouldn't close, lights, etc). I never heard back from anyone so the next day (Monday) at noon I called again and was told that they called a pool/hot tub place and made sure to let me know how much extra money it was costing them to have to do that. Again I asked for a call back, didn't hear anything so the next day called again and was told that someone should be coming that day (Tuesday) and they didn't know if we needed to be home. No one came Tuesday. I also received an email from the mgmt company in response to my email from 2 days earlier saying that they would send someone to the house tomorrow (Wednesday - day 5 of our trip) to look at the other issues. *No one ever came to the house for the rest of our trip to look at or fix those issue. The spa place came Wednesday and fixed the hot tub while we were out - no one called and let us know this so we had no idea until we happened to look at it that night just to check. The management company did not call once when I asked every day for a call back to keep us updated on the hot tub being fixed or any of the other issues. They were not sympathetic or apologetic for anything and rude in their emails to me. The contract states that the hot tub and house are inspected prior to every check in - obviously that is not the case. "

"Great Views, Poorly Maintained
I would describe the overall state of cleanliness as deplorable. Large clump of hair was present in the bathroom upon arrival. Accumulation of dead insects and dust in the windows. The outdoor furniture is falling apart and covered in stains. Property was not hygienically cleaned during COVID as promised. Light switches do not work. Drawers in bedrooms do not work. As I was locking the house up to leave the inspector showed up unannounced went upstairs and was gone within 2 minutes. Not sure how much detail an inspection can have within 2 minutes. I do not recommend staying here. There was a complete lack of attention to detail by World Class Property."

"It’s okay.
If you’re going for the view, it may be worth it. No complains about the cabin structure itself. It’s a little dark inside, but that wasn’t really a big factor of our stay. I think the additional fees that comes with it doesn’t justify when you get to the place. We paid additional $300 for cleaning fee, but unfortunately the place was just clean superficially, as you enter the place from the garage you will see all the dust accumulated under the couch, we misplaced the remote and regretfully took the cushions of the couch and saw bunch of crumbs and wrappers, the carpet in the living room is dirty, don’t even try to lift it up, and in the kitchen the cabinet closest to the back door, the top rack has a plate with wafers on it, it’s probably still there. So I don’t really see how the cleaning fee is expensive but doesn’t justify the cost of it. I have pictures but I don’t have an option to upload it.

Don’t get me wrong, i really love the view and the cabin structure. But personally, cleanliness matters to me. "

The Good-Views are as advertised, property management team very response.
The Bad-Home was very clean, however at prices charged should be updated. Entire home needs Electrical upgrades.(Outlets not working, or delivering partial energy.(scary!) The base of the driveway can and should be widened. Timber wall protrudes into already narrow driveway at the entry. Wall needs to be rebuilt and set back several feet. "

Overall the experience was good. Beautiful views, nice deck & hot tub. The house is reasonably well furnished, and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms, appliances and window treatments are very dated.
With a few small additions, the stay could've been amazing - Beach towels, Laundry detergent, better soap, more cutlery. It needs some stock pantry essentials - there was no sugar! Some places we've stayed have even had coffee and tea.

Overall still a nice vacation rental.

"Amazing Stay
We absolutely loved rending through World Class Property Management, they were very kind and helpful. The place was gorgeous, the hot tub was perfect! We loved the place. There wasn't anything missing in the kitchen, it had everything. The ONLY negative was the King bed was pretty hard to sleep on, but for 5 days it was manageable. Steep driveway was a challenge and we have a 4x4 Rubicon/Jeep, just be careful, we only left the place once, and that was when we were leaving. Also the roads heading to this place, during the winter is tricky, be careful. But the property itself was picture perfect. We'll definitely be renting again!"

"A beautiful view
Thanks to the property manager's message before reaching the place, we were well prepared to maneuver the really steep roads that led to the parking.
The house was clean with many amenities like sufficient amount of towels, kitchen vessels and basic cooking items, body wash etc. As there was no A/C, the table fans turned out to be helpful.
Not sure why they left a detail manual for cleaning the beds, and at the same time charged a cleaning fee too, (unless that manual was not for the house user - which was not mentioned). Nevertheless, we made sure to prepare the beds accordingly.

Overall, the house was very beautiful, neat-and-clean, with an amazing view of the lake and a lot of space to relax outside, watch the sunset and star gaze. The house was also close to the supermarket and that helped. I would surely recommend this place for a large group.

Note: Only drawback was that one of the washroom doors would not close/open with ease, and some of us got stuck in the washroom thrice, and once in the balcony :)"

"World Class View
Rented "Spectacular Views of the Lake" and we had a very good rental experience. The view is, what can you say, other than spectacular! We had a great 2 day/night stay and enjoyed the wooden lodge/cabin immensely. We found the large unique home to be clean and and pretty good overall condition.

Areas of concern or improvement:
The driveway, like many have mentioned, could be a challenge but we had no issues in the fall but winter conditions would certainly complicate things. Driving a full size car, we were able to pull forward in the garage and back it out so that we never had to "back up" the driveway like some had suggested. Like others have mentioned, many of the light switches are not wired up but that did not present a problem since there are plenty of lamps. Some xtra light bulbs would have been nice since a closet light was flickering. Only one TV despite what appears to be satellite hookups in some additional rooms. For a larger group or those who like one in the bedroom this could be problematic. We would rent again. "

We loved this house. The driveway is no joke though! When we were picking up our rental car, we almost upgraded to a Tahoe. Thank goodness we didn't. I don't know how we could have maneuvered it around the switchbacks, including the one into the driveway. We stayed in summer so I can't comment on how it would be with snow. The only thing I can say about the location (Zephyr Cove) is that we wish it was within walking distance to any of the beaches - but that has nothing to do with the property itself. The house was great and we loved having dinner on the deck and we watched the 4th of July fireworks from the hot tub. Best 4th of July ever!"

Beautiful views of the lake from the living room and big deck were the high points of this home. Our group was only five people so we had plenty of room and didn't have to use the main level twin bedroom which is not much more than a closet.
The home was clean and had cozy mountain charm. No pantry item were supplied and some updating of the bathrooms and linens are due.
But, the location is great and the neighborhood was very quiet. The management company was quick to respond to our request to check-in early.

The cabin was very well kept and stocked with utensils, towels, and bathroom necessities. The hot tub was very well kept and was a dream to use while looking out over lake Tahoe. Only thing we were unable to get to work was the grill outside but it was freezing cold out so we opted to cook inside instead. Like everyone said the trek up to the cabin is very steep and will be a problem in snow conditions if your car isn't an AWD or have chains. Other than that I am very satisfied with my stay there. "

"Million Dollar Views in a spacious, comfortable log cabin!
When I book rentals in a place like Tahoe, I go for views first, and condition of home is secondary. Some of the reviews of this home weren't that great, so we went into it with low expectations. Our expectations were more than exceeded. The home was beautiful, updated, and well appointed. It is a log cabin, but that is part of the charm and the owners have done a great job keeping it updated and comfortable. I do think that more should be said about the steep driveway
and narrow roads, especially for winter rentals. Other than that, what an amazing place!"

Our experience was great! We had a group of 8 on a girls trip and it was a perfect place to stay. Location was close to the beach, stores, casinos (short drive). We loved the hot tub on the deck with the amazing view of Lake Tahoe! Beds were comfortable and house was quiet. The only thing that we noticed was there aren't many extras in the house as far as kitchen ware. There were only two wine glasses, which isn't enough when you have a larger group. Most houses I've rented have more items stocked in kitchen. Not really a big deal though. Loved the house and would rent again and highly recommend!"

"Property rental at Lake Tahoe
The pictures on the site reviewing this property were exactly as we found it upon arrival, spectacular. Million dollar views of the lake and mountains. The cabin setting was warm and cozy. We found everything that we needed in the kitchen for our 2 day stay. The property was clan and tidy upon arrival. One of the few draw backs was that previous renters have not been cleaning the barbecue on the deck so we were unable to use it. We spent a lot of time on the front deck and enjoying the hot tub while taking in The views. Found some wobbly deck rails that could use some maintenance. The drive way was as other reviews stated, very steep and narrow but expected due the properties location. Overall, we would recommend staying at this rental. It was cozy and warm with gentle night breezes and was well equipped for our stay. "

The home was a big log cabin with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which worked out great for 8 of us! Overall we had a great experience there. In my opinion there were a few things that needed repair and some missing items that were needed. There was no can opener in the kitchen, very few glasses and inadequate paper towels and garbage bags. There was no outdoor umbrella for the deck as pictured in the listing. There were 2 kitchen windows that were duct taped shut and one actually fell out on warm evening while we were eating dinner. There were outlets and light switches that didn’t work. "

"A wonderful place
The property was just as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The view of the lake is even more impressive in person than what the photos show.
For practical matters, when we called Heidi the property manager with questions, she was very friendly and helpful.
During our stay my friends and I went down to Zephyr Cove and rented a 4-person paddle boat for $40/hour (they have other water craft available to rent too). It was worth it to actually go out on the water so deep blue and clear. You could see way down into the depths.
All in all this is a wonderful place to stay. One practical note: the house has a good number of stairs so it would be impractical for people with serious ambulatory problems if they had to come and go much. The driveway is also very steep. Makes me wonder what it's like when it snows there. I'm sure anyone interested in staying at the house can get winter tips from the property manager. It's definitely a great place and people should be aware, but not put off by the stairs or the driveway.

Just got back from spending a few days in Zephyr Cove and could not have asked for a better first time at Lake Tahoe. Our group enjoyed everything about this rental property, especially the incredible views, nice hot tub, and well equipped kitchen. It was perfectly hidden away, but still very close to South lake Tahoe. Nearby Zephyr park was great and included a well kept disc golf course.

"Ok house, spectacular view
My son, wife and I came here for Thanksgiving, so we cooked and stayed around the cabin a lot. I found the cabin very attractive from a log cabin point of view. I loved the rock work around the fireplace and the exposed logs for interior walls. They gave the cabin a very homey feel. And the view was indescribably beautiful.

What I found to the negative were mostly cosmetic and maintenance items. The master bed is so low it’s like a mattress on the floor. There were several lights out and no bulbs were left to replace them with. There were no TV’s in the bedrooms, so everyone had to agree on what to watch. The two upstairs bedrooms could use a sitting chair and lamp in each of them. The clock in the kitchen had a dead battery. None of the glasses matched (and there were precious few of them), except for the wine glasses. The kitchen had a mish-mash of random pots, pans and bowls. And they were dirty. Make sure you wash them before you use them. There was no salt & pepper shakers, nor was there a corkscrew. The furniture was pretty dirty and there was no fireplace hardware (poker, scoop, broom). Several storm doors were missing glass, or just missing. And, finally, the place could use a deep cleaning. Vent grills were just dirty, as were the fans in the upstairs bedrooms. With all that said, I would come back. I love the location. I’d just want it to be a little cleaner and the cupboards and cabinets to be better stocked."

Loved everything about this cabin except the very steep driveway. Even though we had chains on our 4x4 SUV, while coming down the driveway we ended up sliding and hitting the left side rail damaging the left front side bumper. It would have been nice if a tip or advice was included within the rental agreement or separately in e-mail on how to come out of the driveway on the way out for the renters for their awareness. Other than that the cabin is on a nice hill with spectacular views from all the rooms. It was nice and clean when we got there and we tried keeping it that way as well on our way out. I would definitely rent this place again, but only during summer time when the driveway is not icy and clean, otherwise wouldn't do it again during winter time."

"Tahoe Girls Vacay
Overall we had a great time. The view is INCREDIBLE and the house was gorgeous. There was enough space split between the levels that we didn't feel too crammed. It was perfect for our needs. Centrally located to the beach and casinos and the rest of the night life in South Lake. However; the cons included the following:
No AC - When we arrived it was 85 degrees in the house and VERY hot at night.
Patio set was dated and the umbrella was broken
Refrigerator was barely cool enough. We ended up putting all of our unfrozen items in an ice chest
The drive way is INTENSE. It was so steep, we ended up unloading at the bottom and carrying our items up. With three cars in the driveway there was no place to turn around, so backing down that steep of a driveway was a little much.
We only had 9 girls and the house advertises is sleeps 10. I would not have included a couch without a couch bed a sleeping space. There were three of us in the king bed upstairs. "

"House Needs Maintenance and Updating –Would NOT Recommend
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Everything in the house was on the verge of falling apart. The house could use a lot of general maintenance and updating.
- Burned out light bulbs in the kitchen, bedrooms, deck, and worst of all, the stairs going up to the 3rd floor (property management company said it is due to electrical issues)
- Upstairs bedroom with a twin bed didn’t have screens on the windows or the door to the deck so there were a lot of bugs inside the house
- Bathroom door in the bedroom with a twin bed would not close all the way
- Knobs to the closet doors were all loose and needs replacing
- Very old refrigerator – it did not keep food cold even though it was set to the coldest temperature
- Patio furniture was broken – unusable umbrella and the chairs were uncomfortable and needs thicker seat cushions
- Patio bench broke when we were sitting on it, but luckily no one was hurt
- Dining table chairs were very uncomfortable
- House was VERY HOT and it never cooled down –it could use more fans, especially in the bedrooms (it was 85-90 degrees in the house when we tried to sleep)

I did have a great experience with the property management company. They were easy to work with and responded to our calls and even came out to try to replace some light bulbs. The house did have great views of Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately, the owners of the house do not appear to care about their rental property. I would NOT recommend this vacation rental, especially in the summer because the house is uncomfortably hot inside!

We were very excited when we first drove up. There is a beautiful view of the lake. However, every light fixture in the house is missing light bulbs. Like a lot of light bulbs. "Girl's weekend in Tahoe
Our rental was beautiful with breathtaking views and plenty of space. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is much more beautiful than they show. My only criticisms are mild- there isn't a lot of lighting in the house, so we had to bring some lights from the bedrooms into the living room at night. Also- the bbq was out of propane and some of the power outlets didn't work. Overall minor concerns and we were very happy with our stay.

One other important thing to note- the driveway is extremely steep and narrow, parking is not for the faint of heart and I couldn't imagine doing it in the winter!"

"A Beautiful View
The property was easy to find and we were able to fit five cars but it was very tight. Check in was very easy and Heidi answered her phone whenever I had any questions. The beds were comfortable, although the hide a bed was not a traditional type and we struggled to figure out how to use it. The house had several small things that didn't work so well (closet door handles broken, sliders off track, dishwasher was tough to get going). I did call and let them know so that we weren't charged. The home does not have any kind of binder with information about the property or nearby restaurants. If you plan on doing much cooking in the house, you need to bring everything! overall, we had a good experience in the house. Maybe not the best place for anyone that has trouble with stairs. Every room is on a different level. The towels were very poor quality and looked to be old. The house was a five minute drive to the casinos which was great."

My brother and I and a few friends rented this property in September 2014 and had a fabulous experience! World Class Property Management made this whole experience effortless. "The last week of Summer - Tahoe Style!
This house is located centrally to South Lake Tahoe and has AMAZING views! That is really the name of the game with this house.

The house itself is a on the rustic side - it is a log cabin. The house could have used some screens in the windows and some other fixes - but given how much it is rented out (it seems to be one of the more popular homes) - the owner could use a week or two off for just some general good maintenance. This certainly isn't a reflection on the management company at all. All the mechanicals were in working order within the house.

The kitchen had all the basics. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable - which is extremely important.

The management company was very easy to work with. I placed a couple calls during the months leading up to our vacation and they were always pleasant to interact with. It was also VERY easy to get into the house - no check in at a separate office ahead of time, which was really unusual and a time saver.

We made GREAT memories here."

"The house was just OK
I was not happy at all with the woman in the rental office the day of check in (Saturday July 26th, 2014.) We've rented from other properties in the past and have ALWAYS had to check in to the rental office to pick up house keys,info packets...etc. I didn't think this rental company was any different. Nowhere on the paperwork does it say to go to the house to check in and not the office. On check in day I went into the office and told the woman (who was on the phone and acted like it was inconvenient for her to get off the phone)that we were checking in and she replied in a condescending voice,"forrrrr what?" I told her for a rental house and she got sarcastic and asked,"Didn't you get a number for the lock box?" and told us we had to go to the house and check in. I don't appreciate being treated like a moron from ANY office member that we are doing business with!
Vacation home was a little under stocked as far as kitchen supplies.Kitchen appliances were all very old and the refrigerator has some kind of water leak. Clean towels were all still wet.

"The most amazing view!
We had an amazing time at the South Martin home. All of us are over 30 and spent most of our vacation at the house just cooking and hanging out. The view from the deck & main living area was unbeatable and completely unobstructed. We mostly enjoyed the fireplace, two master suites, hot tub and the deck with the view. Having three showers available in the mornings was awesome. There were a few quirks to the home like the cracked window, no panel in one of the cupboard doors in the kitchen, no glass in the storm door, hot tub was not very clean...but we were able to overlook these things because of all the positives. The maintenance man was rude upon our departure even though we were visibly cleaning up (sweeping off the porch, taking out the trash)...but the owner was receptive and apologetic. We loved the place overall. A very woodsy, comfortable, cool feel indeed. We hope to be back."

"Beautiful view! NOT child friendly!
The gorgeous wrap around porch was incredible, offering a spectacular view. That porch made waking up with a cup of coffee and relaxing before bed a great experience. But, that is what you're paying for when renting this home. Though we can say the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms (for the most part) were clean, the home set-up was not very comfortable. With lots of stairs inside, including large gaps in the balcony railing outside (at spots where the railing sided steps), we had no peace! We realized very soon that our 4 year old could slip through that hole, leading one story down right onto the asphalt drive way. We feared for our children the entire stay and found relief each time we left. So, we would highly recommend families with young children stay else where. Another minor issue to this rental was that most of the windows/doors had broken or missing screens. The weather was beautiful, but anytime we left windows open, yellow jackets came swarming in. The second minor issue was the driveway. We own a 12-passenger van. The curved, narrow, steep drive-way was definitely built for smaller vehicles. Overall, we'd recommend this rental to groups of adults, or those with older children, who drive smaller vehicles and don't mind keeping the windows shut. If you're looking for a cozy bed and breath-taking view, this rental may be for you. "

"Warning: Terrible management property. Be very cautious!!
My biggest complaint I have is with management and their attitude. I have rented cabins all throughout Tahoe for my family’s annual trip for the past 6 years without ever running into any issues. I received the rental contract which gave the typical guidelines. There is a section that in bold letters, states that report any issues with the house immediately upon arriving so that the renter (me) will not be liable for those issues during checkout. Of course this is standard and I understand. Upon checking in the garbage disposal didn’t work. I called management and told them the issue. Right away, they sounded unhappy and had a very accusing tone as if we broke it. They were not courteous at all and it took me off guard. I worked with them over the phone and we eventually figured out the issue.

The biggest problem we had was the washing machine which was on the 2nd floor. We did a load and we noticed that the first floor bathroom was flooding with water from the ceiling. Basically, the rubber hose from the washing machine was not hooked on properly and the water was flooding downstairs. I called management again, and they had a very angry and accusing tone. I merely called to report the incident. The man I talked to was not courteous at all and kept repeating that it was fine before we moved in. Of course I get irate and unhappy. Why the **** would I unhook the rubber hose or anything of that nature? We had a 2 year old running around the house which we wouldn’t want to endanger. The logical explanation is that maybe the hose fell off the wall which makes sense because there are no **** screws or parts holding it in place. I just wanted to report the incident and I get a man accusing me of foul play. All in all, my family did not enjoy our stay with this management property.
