"In the center of it all.
We enjoyed our stay at Ekahi 8E. It's upstairs and has a large lanai. This unit is a 1 minute walk to the pool/pavilion, barbecue area. It's clean and well stocked with essentials. Wish it had a beach umbrella but we understand owners not having them."

Very good location. Kitchen had all the supplies provided as well as the bathrooms. In order to compete though it needs an update in furnishings and carpet. Owners left a lovely gift basket full of amazing treats. Offered beach chairs and lots of sunscreen. "

"Wonderful Place
If your looking for a place in Wailea that is close to the pool, close to the beach, has a great view with patio and is very clean with great owners this is the place. We had a great experience. The property has many great features including bbq grills, nice recreation area with fridges, ice machines, microwaves along with pickleball court and many other nice features. Our condo came with chairs and boogie boards for the beach also. I would highly recommend this condo. "

We loved our stay in 8E! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We were very happy to have all the things we need for our beach time (many beach chairs, a wagon, and sand toys along with towels). The kitchen was well stocked with spices and oil. 8E is the perfect location close to the pool and beach. Nicely remodeled bathrooms and kitchen and fully stocked kitchen, beach/pool items.

"Great Experience
The condo was fabulous. One bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen, luxurious living room. All decorated and maintained nicely. The main pool and beach were just steps away. Check in was seamless. The garden throughout the property was spectacular. Several pools through the property are available in the event the main pool gets a little noisy. Plenty of umbrellas at the pool and a covered area with BBQs, tables and sofas. "

Three generations enjoyed the amenities at the Ekahi Village over Thanksgiving. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful, we ate family dinners at the pavilion with the kitchen, pool, bbqs, shaded/full Sun seating, beach access and beautiful sunsets. Each condo was clean and comfortable with outstanding views of the property and ocean. Highly recommend for families where children are safe and a short walk to the beach and pools. "

"Excellent condo in excellent location
This was a very well-stocked condo in a great location. Only one building is closer to the main pool/beach, it was really nice to not have to trek up the huge hill to return home after the pool or beach. The condo is very spacious and clean, with a good selection of pots/pans, sharp knives, foil, spices/oils, and even tupperware. As some reviews mention, there are some palm frons blocking some of the view, they do help with afternoon sun but it would be nice if they were removed. The AC worked great when needed. We love renting condos managed by Wailea Vacation Rentals- the cooler, beach bag and welcome basket are great! We would most certainly stay here again as a couple. There is a pull-out couch that was nice to lounge on, but I wouldn't want to spend more than a few hours sleeping on it. A few items that could be added for convenience- Full length mirror, new beach chairs (2 of the 4 had broken buckles making them impossible to wear on your back) and a barbeque scrubber. Overall loved this place!"

Really great unit in building 8, super close to the beach. Very clean, loved the two full bathrooms.
I have stayed in many units in Ekahi and this one takes the cake in terms of location - especially since BBQs are no longer allowed on the lanais. Very short walk to the pool and pavillion area BBQs."

"Long Weekend in Paradise
We stayed in unit 8E which has a great view of the pool and ocean from the deck. Shor walk to the Beach and Pool area. Loved the location too. A short drive into town or to the Wailea shopping center. The staff were very helpful when our Wifi went out they were at the unit within 20 minutes. Even after we left and left a charger for a computer, they mailed it to us the next day. I highly recommend the unit for your stay in Wailea!"

Very comfortable condo in an ideal location that has many amenities including a beautiful pool and pavilion area with private access to the beach. The condo is also just a short drive from the business strip with lots of restaurant and shopping choices. "Beautiful condo steps from the beach!
Unit 8E is in an amazing location, steps from the pool and beach. There’s AC in the condo, if you prefer to use it, but the windows are situated perfectly to catch the breezes, and we turned off the AC for most of our stay. There’s a full kitchen with the usual appliances, plus a dishwasher, and the unit has its own grill on the balcony, or there are some down by the pool. The beach is a wide, sandy one with rocks on the edge that made for great snorkeling. We saws lots of fish and even an octopus, all in view of our condo! There were plenty of towels, beach chairs, a boogie board, even some soft-sided coolers. The new pool pavilion had just been completed when we got there, and it is *beautiful*! We went down there to watch sunset every night. The construction fence behind the pavilion was still up (right in front of our balcony), but it didn’t block our ocean view looking from the end of the balcony, and we didn’t have any issue with construction noise. Overall, it exceeded my expectations!"

"Fantastic Experience
We had a fantastic stay in this unit. It was modern, clean, and had a variety of kitchen supplies, including a coffee maker and a rice cooker. There were also basic items such as salt and pepper, as well as some items that were likely left from other guests (oil, spices, etc). The unit was spacious and the balcony was really nice. There was construction at the main pool area so we didn’t really use the balcony during working hours, but it was not a problem. They did not wake us up in the morning. We would definitely stay in this unit again. It’s a great location and I really liked how new and clean it was. "

"Just the break we needed...
Wow, our fifth trip to Ekahi was 90% fantastic, 10% meh... the construction on the pavilion was not a big issue, noise started each morning about 7:00 when we were sitting outside enjoying our morning coffee. If you like to sleep in (why would you on Maui) this might bother you. Besides that the condo 8-E was great."

"Ideal location on Maui - Unit 8E Ekahi Village
Ekahi Village is a well maintained ocean front property. I've stayed in different places on Maui, and Wailea is my favorite. It has great beaches. We loved unit 8E, which is a second story unit. There no condos obstructing the views between this unit's lanai and the pool and beach. The picture attached is the view from the lanai. We were walking distance from the Shops of Wailea and short drive to Kihei restaurants and shops. I've never stayed anywhere that had a better pool area and access to the beach. The pool area includes a large club house area with furniture and bathrooms. Lawn surrounds the pool where you have a front row view to the Pacific.
We had everything we needed inside the condo, including beach chairs, a boogie board, an ice chest, and beach towels. The kitchen has granite counters, and is fully equipped with everything you need. There is one big bedroom, plus a pullout bed in the living room couch. We had wifi, two tvs, and air conditioning. The lanai is twice as big as the corner units with access from the living room and bedroom. The lanai had a gorgeous view of the ocean and pool. There are loungers, a table, chairs, and a BBQ on the deck. There are two large bathrooms with large closets and in-suite laundry (detergent was provided). The tile work was very nice. We made our reservations through Wailea Vacation Rentals (). Bob and Nicole were so helpful. We had to contact Bob after hours, and he answered almost immediately.
The staff and gardeners keep everything in perfect order. There are 4 pools on the property. Buildings 7 and 8 are closest to the beach. All condos are individually owned.
The beach in front of this property is Keawakapu Beach. The sand is fine and the beach is large and great for swimming. You can snorkeling in the mornings. Afternoon trade winds provide boogy boarding waves. Guests walk out to the pool and beach every evening to enjoy the sunsets. We didn't want to leave. "

"Location, Location, Location
It's close to the pool and Keawakapu Beach, one of the best in Hawaii. You can watch the sunset from the lanai. The grounds in Wailea Ekahi Village are like a botanical garden. We stayed in 8E in 2013, and it was overdue for renovations. Fortunately, renovations have been completed, and the kitchen and bathrooms are very nice."
