This breathtaking beach home is destined to fulfill your beach vacation dreams, and it is pet-friendly! Featuring a beautiful rooftop deck and a sparkling indoor pool surrounded by glass doors.
1st floor: 2 bedrooms which share a full bathroom, entertainment den with bar, wine fridge, and billiard table, complete with a flat screen TV just off the pool. Twin/Full bunkbed and queen bed.
2nd floor: Large family room, Breakfast area, Den area, fully stocked kitchen, and a Farmhouse Dining room table, 1 King bedroom, and one full bath nearby.
3rd floor: At the top of the stair landing is the Den & TV area with pull-out sofa bed size Double, to the left is a King Bed suite with private bath, complete with jetted tub, separate shower, plus double vanity sink. To the right side is the one walk-through room with a Twin/Full bottom bunk, twin trundle. and then two additional bedrooms with Queen beds. All bedrooms except the King room on the third floor share an in-hall full bathroom.
Close proximity to the ocean and offers extra entertainment for the family, such as a pool table and foosball table, as well as free WIFI and cable TV! Nearing 6,000 square feet of space, this lovely beach home is sure to win your heart and allow you and the family the relaxation you deeply need.

"Chapel Bay Sandbridge Beach
Extended family group. We had a nice time and the spaces in the house provided places for gathering, game play and also quiet areas to read and relax or (unfortunately) do some remote office work. The location was convenient. The house was clean (other than the grill) and the property management company was very responsive to issues when we contacted them and the maintenance guy was pleasant to deal with when he came to the house, just felt that we had to call on a number of issues over the week. The issues were always promptly addressed by the property management company, by providing a different used refrigerator or dryer to replace ones that were not working, there simply seemed to be one issue on top of another. Overall, the house could use some refreshing to be the luxurious beach home we expected, but we enjoyed our stay despite the failure to meet expectations. "

Truly a great time That said, there were a few things that need attention. The dishwasher is SLOW and not very good-even on heavy. The disposal didn’t work. and the 4-slice toaster was only half functional. Please tighten the railing leading to the top floor. All minor issues but would have improved our stay.."

"Chapel Bay June 21- 28, 2025 Luxurious?! Beautiful?!
The positives, communication from company, excellent. Staff courteous and pleasant. Location perfect. Deck and Dock beautiful.
Arrived and could not enter house. Keypad not functioning. Troy responded promptly was very nice. Batteries were not making contact, then would not accept code. Troy gave me his door code and that was what we used. The property is in disrepair, outdated. I have rented dozens of properties through the years, different locales, different companies and this by far was in the worst condition. I have many pictures to support my claim. Counter top worn to below finish, stove surface worn and scratched, screens ripped, fixtures, air vents rusted. Light fixtures rusted, furniture damaged, closet door mirror cracked and can't be opened. Sofa has entire leather worn off down to threadbare lining with only one recliner working. Paint worn off wall behind sofa as well as throughout entire house. Then the pool- filthy area, cobwebs, trash, leaves. Door tracks rusted so that all doors cannot be opened. Push screen door open and frame falls down, door left in your hand. Paint peeling off on multiple spots. Fans not functional. Upon returning tried to make them aware and send photos so they can perhaps address these issues and both emails through which communication was established prior to trip are invalid and emails bounced."

"Large family stay in May
The property is at a great location, just about 2 min walk to the beach, with a great floor plan for big gatherings. The deck overlooks the canal, which gives additional opportunities for water sports. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing, as well as sitting on the deck at the sun set. The indoor pool was a huge plus since we had several rainy days during our stay and with four babies in the house, it was a life saver. The water in the pool was at the perfect temperature for the little ones to enjoy it and have a lot of fun. The house could use some upgrading and deep cleaning, but other than that it is a great property for a family fun. "

Good location, new dock but no ladder for access to kayaks. Service and assistance from management staff was exceptional, best we ever experienced. Texts were answered within minutes, repair techs were usually there within the hour and they were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and neat. "

"A few problems
The house is in a good location and quite lovely, but it definitely needs some updating. The pool was freezing, and nobody used it. The doors around the pool are very difficult to open and close. The appliances did not work well, and the dryer broke. The dryer was not repaired until the day before we left, and the technician pointed out that the lint buildup (which had never been cleaned) was a major fire hazard. The A/C did not work in one of the first-level bedrooms, and it was extremely hot. I am leaving this review because before I booked the house, I read several reviews that mentioned these same issues. The rental company responded and claimed that the house was under new management, and these problems had been addressed, especially the pool temperature and the doors. In our experience, this was not the case."

"Great week with family!’
The layout of the house was great for our family. We were able to be together but there was plenty of room if we needed our own space. The kitchen has plenty of plates, bowls, skillets and pans. Regular size spoons could be added.
We had a few issues, but as soon as management was made aware, they got them resolved quickly. Ocean Sands was so easy to work with. I highly recommend them."

"Wonderful vacation home!
The house was great for our families - 7 adults and (5 children ages 1-6) and room to spare for larger groups. We enjoyed the game room, the indoor pool was a favorite, the kitchen has everything you need, the living rooms and bedrooms were a very good size. The outside deck is large and bay dock was great for the fishermen in the group. The house and property was clean. Some areas in the home could use a little TLC but nothing that would hamper a wonderful stay. was awesome to deal with. They were informative, helpful and courteous. Great vacation!"

"June 23 Family Vacation
We had a great vacation stay at this rental. The house is big and accommodated our large family of 15. We loved the access to the beach and the water behind the house for Kayaks. We also, loved having the garage to use to keep all our bikes and beach gear in....that was a huge plus!!! We did not use the indoor pool as often as we anticipated because the water was cold. The kitchen is very well supplied!! The only issue is dealing with the little ants on the counter and in the drawers. We tried to keep the house swept at all times with the sand that gets in when going to and from the beach....I would recommend more than one broom and one the doesn't fall apart every time you use it. We used the grill several times....I would also recommend someone giving it a good cleaning once in a awhile. The large room with the sectional couch....needs a couple extra chairs for a large group like ours to sit together.... we brought in a few of our beach chairs so we could be together in that room.
All the things I mentioned were small things and just a suggestion....overall we had a GREAT vacation and the management company was very good to work with!! Thank you!!"

Chapel Bay was perfect for our family. We loved being on the Bay and still being close enough to the beach for a short walk. We fished, rented kayaks, and paddle boards which was a blast. "Great beach week
Great home, with access to the canal and an easy walk to the beach. Layout was good for our four families with room to spread out. For the number of people the home can sleep, the kitchen is small and very under equipped (not enough plates/cups/silverware) and the biggest downside is no outdoor shower when returning from the beach. The indoor pool was a nice feature, but could use some TLC. It allowed us to still swim and keep the kids occupied during afternoon thunderstorms which was great. The walk to the beach was easy, and canal access allowed for pretty views and use of a kayak. Property was clean but could use some updates and upkeep. "

"Wonderful family time
Our entire family of 18, set of grandparents, adult children and 11 grandchildren(ages 2-25] spend time laughing, playing pool and poker, card games and sharing time together. The house was large enough for everyone to spread out and have space. Grilling was done as was baking. Everyone had a ball. Close enough to a wonderful produce stand that also sold delicious shrimp and grocery stores. Went to the aquarium, some played golf at Devil’s point, beach, or sat outside and enjoyed on the water. TV only went on at night so little ones could watch their shows before going to bed. Highly recommend Virginia Beach and this lovely home."

It really shocks me how much they charge for houses like these when the condition of the house is terrible. One living room couch definitely had bed bugs in them, AC was broken in parts of the house and the pool was just grimy. Layout of this house was perfect and spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful deck with plenty of seating gatherings but unfortunately it stops at that. This house needs some TLC and a very through cleaning. My wife made the mistake of walking barefoot on our 1st day and by the end of the day the bottom of her feet where black. Cant understand that cause you are paying for cleaning. Also kitchen was loaded with ants couldn't put anything on countertop otherwise you would have ants on your stuff. I do have to say we had a problem with one of the TVs and the rental company sent out a person to fix it right away. Pool needs TLC also."
