Sagunto is the capital of the Camp de Morvedre region, located north of Valencia. It is an ancient city with approximately 70,000 inhabitants. Sagunto is especially known for its exceptional historical center and the many archaeological sites found there. The international airport at Valencia is just 35 km away. Puerto de Sagunto is located on the coast. Spanish is the predominant language. The citizens are spread out over 6 km that separate the beach from the old Roman castle, but the majority of them live in the center of Puerto de Sagunto.
