"Such a Special Place!
We love staying at this charming house just steps from the beach. Quaint and comfortable with plenty of space to cook, relax, sit and chat or out on the patio for sunsets and barbecuing. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities.
You can see the sea from the windows and lovely sunsets and shorebirds. The beach is wonderful with lots of seashells, birds, snorkeling and fishing. "

"Fathers day 3 day weekend getaway in Puerto Penasco
This is an older home and for the money and location it was just right for our stay. The bed needs to be replaced and curtains need to be a black to block the light out in bed rooms. We would defiantly rent the place again."

"Great vacation
Our rental was great for our stay. Close enough to the beach! The place could use some tlc for sure. Although it no longer has vhs as described they do have Blu-ray and cable so that was nice! All kitchen stuff was available but needed trash bags and dish cloth also more more wash cloths. They did provide fans and heaters so I was happy!
Basically get your own beach to relax. Would most definitely stay here again!"

"Rocky Point Oceano rental
We enjoyed our stay here in Rocky Point for sure. Quite relaxing and a good opportunity to turn off the electronics for awhile and slow down. The rental was fine and we had everything we needed. We tried to buy a dust pan for it but were unable to find one on our brief excursions to town. We would recommend this to our friends and would rent again inn the future."

It was very spacious. A bit dated but clean and a great value for the price. The customer service was excellent! We arrived after office hours so they left our key for us. The beach was super close and easily accessed! I would definitely recommend to family and friends!"

After some of the other reviews that I read, I was a little leary about this place. The good news is that it was perfectly fine. Not one bug in the entire place all weekend long. It was also very clean and comfortable. The kitchen table was very wobbly so we did not use it and the kitchen itself could use some updating. The convenience of walking to the beach in less than a minute definitely made the slight downfalls of the kitchen a non-issue for us since we weren't cooking meals there. "

"You will be disappointed.
Convenient location in Las Conchas. Sofas in living room appeared newer. Other than that, everything else was worn, old and tired. Kitchen was dirty and very worn out. Pots and pans were filthy, caked on grunge. Lots of wine glasses, but only one glass in the cabinet. Stove smelled of gas. Notified management, said they would send a repairmen. Never did. Ceiling fan in bedroom made a loud hum / ticking noise at all times. Drapes don't fully cover windows, so I hope your not modest. Wall AC units are very loud, one bedroom did not cool. This property needs to be taken out of the rental pool and completely renovated. "

"Thanksgiving Trip
Really great! Also was a little skeptical after reading past reviews, but the place was extremely clean and we had no issues. Literally a stone throw from the beach and since the house is near the beginning of Las Conchas, just a quick drive into town. If you have a small group this place is perfect! Make sure to check the small storage shed on the side of the home for beach chairs and umbrellas! "

Not gonna lie, was a bit worried to open the door after reading the other reviews. The location was ideal as we had friends in a house on the beach about 1000' down the way. The place was clean. Didn't see any roaches or other insects inside. It's older and needs some updating but for the price, it's great. Missed all the empty corona bottles in the hall cabinets but will know better for next time. "

Omar gave us a great tour of other properties, good leads on good seafood. He went out of his way to accommodate us. He always does us right. "Disappointment
Las Mareas, lot 21 has so much potential, if the owners would just put a little money into the property. The decor is old, out dated, and cluttered. The house was infested by roaches. The sliding glass doors do not open easily without falling off the track. The wifi was missing and was replaced the next day. The shower head fell off when we tried to point it a different direction. That was replaced. The tile throughout the house is broken or elevated in areas. I have rented from Oceano before and have never before been disappointed. This house should not be available as it should not meet Oceanos expectations. I will rent again, but I am disappointed in myself that I did not ask for a refund on the first day."

One of the sliding doors is completely off track in the livimg room. There is an inch or more gap for someone to pry it open or for critters to enter. You dont notice it because the curtain covers it.gap "

"This Place is a DUMP!
It was my distinct displeasure to rent this house for four days in May of 2015. The beds had bed bugs, or dust mites that ate us all to pieces. Speaking of the beds, they were horribly uncomfortable - either too soft, or too hard. In addition, the pull-out bed in the family room was ridiculous, the cushions were so sunken into the couch we couldn't even open the bed. There were dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets, and live ants marching in the dining room. Half of the windows didn't have screens, so we were inviting all sorts of flying objects into the house all hours of the day and night. It's hard to believe they are charging $50.00 as a cleaning fee, in truth this place hasn't REALLY been cleaned in years. Plaster and paint were chipping off the walls and ceilings, and the floors were in need of repair and grout. Overall, this was a most unsatisfactory experience. The owner should be ashamed to rent. "

Perfect!! try to spend as much time away from the house. Take water for the time your there. I would Cooke there instead of buying out that would save you $. there's only one a/c unit that works and it's in the smaller room it was not that hot when I was there but i don't no how much hotter it can get other than that it was great. "

We were very disappointed that the property was not ready on the day we arrived. Workmen still painting the back patio. Considering that we had made this booking three months prior to our arrival your planning left a lot to be desired."

"Great location; sad house
The location of this house is excellent but the state of the house is sad. There has been little to no upkeep on this old house. The kitchen was filled with old and new supplies making it hard to find what we needed and we washed everything before use. Beds were worn and not comfortable and linens old. No screens on bedroom windows. We had no drinking water so went to buy our own. If not for the location and beauty of the beach, we would have been very unhappy. Oceano should remove this from the list or encourage owners to invest in the house."
