Sandpiper 120A is a bright and open one bedroom condo, great for travelers on a budget, or who prefer the "local feel". This homey apartment has a full size kitchen, spacious living and bed rooms, a large private lanai, and extended ensuite bathroom and vanity. The queen size sleeper sofa allows you to sleep two more guests as well, perfect for families with kids! WiFi and SmartTV included.

The Sandpiper Village, ideally situated right in the heart of Princeville, allows you to hit all the North Shore hotspots! Sealodge Beach, a beautiful and secluded hidden gem, is just 20 minutes away. Enjoy a laidback walk on the pedestrian path by the Makai Golf Course before braving the muddy trail down to Sealodge Beach. Anini Beach, great for snorkeling, swimming, and sunset strolls, is also just 15 minutes away on foot. You can stop by the Westin Resort to grab Starbucks before heading out to the beach, or grab dinner at the Nanea Restaurant after an afternoon in the sun. You can also walk to the Princeville Shopping Center just a mile away for everything from groceries, shave ice, and locally churned ice-cream, to happy hour, farmers markets, and hula shows. For more excitement, and some of the best beaches in the world, you can drive just 10 minutes away to the bustling island village of Hanalei.

If you prefer to do less and relax more on vacation, the Sandpiper complex is perfect for a laidback staycation. Spend the day lounging and soaking up the sun by the tiled pool and jacuzzi, or sear up some ultra-fresh fish on the communal gas grills. Afterwards you can end your day enjoying the tropical weather with a drink on the lanai. If you're looking to explore the rest of the island on vacation, be sure to budget your time accordingly. Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 55 minutes, and drive time to the South Shore is 75 minutes.

"Princeville vacation rental
The location was good, the pool was wonderful, the unit was fine except it did not have live TV so we could not access local news or regular news like CNN. We also had a minor theft so management changed out lock number and failed to tell us. We were locked out of our unit for 1.5 hours until I finally got someone to call me back with the new code. They said they would text or email the code to me but never did. "

"Great place to stay!
We really liked this place as a vacation rental. The rental itself was in great condition and was very clean upon our arrival. I liked that it was a full unit meaning, full kitchen and living room and a good size bedroom. I didn’t really care for the breakfast bar as it seemed I kept scooting my chair back and my knees would still hit the counter and the space for eating there was rather cramped. That being said, it was really nice to have the option to dine outside on the deck with a full table and chairs.
This unit has a washer and dryer inside which was awesome. My only concern was that the washer is really loud so I was nervous about running a load in the evening worried that it would disturb the neighbors. So unless I really needed a load done, I would wait till morning to run the wash.
The location of the unit was nice. Princeville is a quiet, peaceful place to stay so no complaints there. It is rather removed from most of the main things to do on the island so we spent a lot of time driving to the beaches or getting to the south side. However, having stayed in Princeville before, I knew that when I booked the unit so it wasn’t a shock to me. Overall our stay was pleasant and the staff were friendly and communicative and sent very detailed instructions on how to get to and get into the unit. We had a great vacation and having a nice unit to stay in only added to that! I would definitely recommend this location."

"Great Rental to attend a wedding
The rental was great and very clean. It is close to the pool. We do feel that the complex needs better lighting at night. We arrived in the evening and had a hard time finding the building the condo was in. Or maybe a map of the complex with direct directions should be attached. The manager seemed really nice and very informative. "

"Great location Beautiful property
Sandpiper was a very nice and comfortable condo. Beautiful lanai that overlooks the pool and bbq area. Had everything we needed in the condo including an ice chest for our day trips. Condo was clean and bed comfortable. Princeville is a great location only about 30 minutes from Lihue and lots of beaches. "

"Clean quiet solitude
Check in and check out was super easy. This apartment had all the basic necessities and was spotless clean. The bed mattress has a prominent sink hole and higher quality shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated. Overall, my stay was comfortable, met my needs, and was a good value."

"A bit funky but functional.
We stayed here for a little less that 3 months.
It was one of the cheaper places we found!
It did suite our purpose, but there are some things that could have been better- needs new carpet/flooring- whats there now is badly stained.
Yes, there is a nice new mattress, but the box springs are ancient and causing the mattress to collapse in the middle already.
The kitchen is usable, but the pots/pans are a bit on flimsy side- we ended up buying a few things to make cooking there easier.
Needs a paint job, and the couch either needs legs- or replacing.
The grounds were awesome though- nice pool.
The upstairs nieghbor was a bit heavy footed, but we got used to it after a bit.
The housekeeping staff was awesome, as was the management staff- communication was spot on.
The roku tv was useless to us, but the internet worked great.
Despite the drawbacks, we’d probably stay here again."

"A bit rough around the edges
it was a lovely place but in need of refreshing. the internet did not work. the blinds in the master were broken but quickly replaced by the management team. the mattress was also in need of replacing. the management team ordered a new one but it did not arrive prior to our departure. (it should be great for you now.) the internet was a continuing challenge (roku is awful) and the neighbor next door was also having similar problems. spectrum came and went but still no internet. the kitchen was great and the washer dryer a dream. the management team was great but the unit could use a fresh coat of paint, new curtains where the curtain rod does not fall as you close the curtains. the location was perfect for us but the condition of the property itself was very very disappointing.

The rental was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The staff was attentive with emails before and during the stay.
Be aware of total costs as they increase greatly with fees.
The wifi never worked so we gave up and went to the beach.

"Thoughts about Sandpiper
This is a very nice unit, everything was clean and ready to go. The rental management made sure our stay was as expected and made sure we had a new fan because the one they had been using broke. On the topic of fans, due to the rising of this property it has limited cross ventilation so if it’s hit expect to use them all night. I don’t feel like we can give a normal review because we were there during an abnormal time. It was so hot and humid the locals were complaining, and the road to Hanalei was closed most of the day due to construction. The pool is great and the bbq was clean and open. It can get loud if the pool is busy. The location is great for getting around. I feel like the price was fair for the property."

"A Great Budget Accomodation
This is a great vacation home that is situated in a quiet neighborhood with all the nearby amenities. It was clean and had all you need to enjoy your stay. I appreciated that the condo was handicapped accessible. Parking was also very convenient to the entrance.The only complaint I offer is that the bed is in very bad shape and the mattress is in bad need is replacement."

"Nice location in Princeville
I was very impressed by the service provided by , they were highly organized before and during our stay.
The unit we stayed in wasn’t great. The carpet was dirty and desperately needs to be replaced (it stank in the living room), the dishwasher needs to be replaced (very old and the top drawer kept falling and is not repairable) and the toilet kept running (figured out how the handle needed to be left after flushing so that it worked properly). The unit needs some updating. They asked if it was an urgent problem and I said no, as there was really nothing they could do about it anyways. I would definitely rent from them again, but will look for a place with tiled floors next time. "

"Easy, great location and communication
We had an excellent stay at Sandpiper 120A! Host was extremely easy to communicate with, their app and book made navigating the condo, Island, and nearby activities so seamless. Be aware no A/C, but there are excellent fans throughout the house so we barely noticed. Lovely lanai and a well-stocked kitchen made our week here fun and extra relaxing. Bed is firm, which I loved, and ample pillows in varying firmnesses are provided. Access, check in and check out were super easy (although we forgot to return the parking pass- learn from our mistake)! Host provided two beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella which was a fun surprise! Would absolutely stay here again- we love this location in princeville for easy access to the market, to Hanalei, beaches and our favorite snorkel spot, Tunnels! This unit is great for people who want to grab groceries and cook at home on occasion, and like a clean relaxed atmosphere. Very near to the pool and hot tub (completely gated so no need to worry if you have kids) and the parking is just outside so easy access if you have mobility issues. "

"Quite and nice
The condo is very spacious and well maintained. A running/walking trail is right outside and the convenient shopping center with a grocery store is a short 5min drive away. The kitchen is very well equipped, although a few basics like aluminum foil, baking sheets, and spices would have been appreciated. The large fans were great at keeping us cool but occasionally woke us up from rumbling loudly. Our only concern is the stovetop may have a grounding issue. We had to handle the pots and pans with a towel while cooking to avoid being shocked from an electrical current. "

"Nice stay and was easy to reserve on a short notice
Sandpiper unit was nice. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and seldom crowded. Only problem we had was the upstairs unit leaked water through our ceiling during our stay. Someone came quickly to assess the damage, but I think we should have be refunded at least one nights stay since it took three days for the carpet and couch to dry. Lock box for the unit is located in a difficult place to access in the dark. "
