"Wonderful place! I will be back!
The place was amazingly, clean and beautiful. The two bedrooms were great with bathrooms, my niece was upstairs and I was downstairs. So we had our own spaces and yet be together! Just as we were trying to figure out how to get in, a sweet woman drove up in her car and helped us, I’m assuming the owner! And they supplied everything you could possibly need including a beach, umbrella and chairs, and nice big towels. It couldn’t have been any nicer! Thank you so much!"

A more than adequate vacation condo. Trouble was we were two people and the rental was huge. To huge for the two of us. It is designed for 6 -- Oh well it was still an immaculate place to stay with all the accessories you could ever want when staying on Kaua'i."

"Peaceful with views
The apartment was so clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. The kitchen was so organized and had the basics we needed to cook. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck either starting the day off or ending it with the beautiful sunsets. We had a great time and staying at this condo was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was comfortable, the washing machine was very handy, and we had plenty of room for our two teenage boys upstairs bedroom. The view is beautiful, the grounds are very well kept and the condo is convenient for walking to great views of the sunset, and a couple of smaller beaches. The walks to the beaches are down steep hills. It wasn't an issue for us but know they aren't quick walks. We loved the location. The only negative for us was the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was broken/really loud when using. Other than that it was a great stay! "

We stayed at this property for a week in March of 2023 along with another couple. Things we loved: 1)The view! Fabulous sunsets. 2) Very well-stocked kitchen. We cooked dinner most nights and found everything that we needed. 3) Management company was very responsive. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues (one was weather-related) which were dealt with promptly. "

"Very nice Condo!
The condo was very nice! It was well equipped (kitchen, laundry and beach accessories) and nicely decorated. The towels and bath mats were very plush. The management company was very prompt in in replying. The only issue we had was it was rather warm due to lack of airflow and it would of been nice to have a grill that wasn't half way down the cliff. "

"Lovely condo in a gorgeous part of the world
It was wonderful to find beach equipment (snorkels, masks, towels, umbrella) all available to use and enjoy at the beach. The bedrooms at the cool back of the condo were breezy and comfortable for sleeping. The staff went the extra mile to help when I left the key in the condo and shut the door. When we were scheduling, the staff asked about flights and offered to extend accommodations for extra days.

"Lovely Place
We really enjoyed our stay at #242! The townhouse was nicely furnished, clean, and peaceful. It was the perfect set-up for 4 adults. Large bedroom and bath on two separate floors. There were several highlights to the home: A gorgeous view off the lanai with 2 lounges and 2 chairs; the kitchen was VERY well outfitted with Keurig, lots of utensils and dishes, pans, towels, soap, icemaker. We especially appreciated the plush towels, beach towels, and high-end liquid soap in the kitchen and baths. We also enjoyed the sparkling community pool and hot jacuzzi (never crowded). Highly recommend taking the private Pali Ke Kua paved trail down to the cove. Check for low tide time, though, and enjoy the tidepools. The management company was very responsive before our trip and when I had a couple of questions while there. Since it wasn't an emergency, email worked just fine. Lovely grounds at Pali Ke Kua! One of our daily highlights was watching the birds on the grass below our lanai and around the property--many Nene, Hawaiian cardinals, egrets, and sandpipers, plus dozens more species perched in trees. Great walking areas around Princeville neighborhood! "

The property was very clean, the bedding was fresh, mattresses very comfortable, and house has everything you need for cooking, cleaning, etc. Very close to Hanalei Bay town with nice restaurants, bars and shops, and 30 mins from Haena hiking. "Great Location - Average Property
Unfortunately the condition of the property fell way below expectations.

Besides the living area furniture, the property is run down and in need of upgrades, especially the bathrooms. In fact, the master bedroom bathroom vanity cupboards are in poor repair with many of them badly chipped.

None of the beds have adequate bedding - only a thin cover. We could not find any extra bedding except for pillows. Only 1 set of towels were provided in each bathroom.

Many of the dishes smelled musty in the kitchen and had to be re-washed before using.

I would also suggest updating the key entry options - like the neighbor next door.

I hope this review serves as motivation to make the necessary upgrades. Princeville is a lovely location and worth visiting."

"Quiet, relaxing, spacious condo
Loved this property. Very spacious,quiet, and great views. Had to drive to beaches but worth it! Many choices for food nearby and loved all the pop up markets. Pool was really nice, almost always had it to myself!Two large bedrooms and plenty of basic supplies: beach towels,chairs, umbrella, kitchen equipment. Would stay here again in a heartbeat"

"Comfortable, Peaceful, Perfect
We loved our experience at Pali Ke Kua 242 with (Property Manager). Everything was just as described and our stay was great! We were given EXCELLENT customer service with a few questions we had at beginning of our stay, and the only problem we had is that our vacation wasn’t longer! Loved time on the lingers on the lanai in the mornings, and loved our outings in the afternoons. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen are hugely important to us and we were not disappointed. I’d highly recommend this to anyone!! "

"Beautiful views and location
The condo was spacious (for my family of 3) and clean with a lovely view of the ocean. The beds were quite comfortable. The washer and dryer was very useful as was the full kitchen. Some boogie boards, chairs and other equipment was provided for our use.

From the location, you do need a car to get into Hanalei or other nearby locations."

"Fantastic Location, Amazing Views -- we loved staying here!
We absolutely loved our stay here - this was our first time at Pali Ke Kua (we have stayed in Princeville 3 other times in other complexes) and we will definitely stay here again. We were welcomed by a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers with a hand-written welcome note so that was a great first impression. Here are several other reasons why we had a fantastic stay:
- The location in Princeville was great (we enjoy being close to the Princeville Resort)
- The views from our unit and the complex were superb (especially for sunset!); the pictures we took looked like a postcard
- We loved the private beach and the ease of the path to access; our kids had so much fun exploring the tide pools and the views from the path were breathtaking.
- The pool and spa were great; our kids went swimming every evening.
- Hideaways Pizza Pub was a really delicious and a convenient option to have onsite.
- The unit itself was spacious (we enjoyed having the loft space for the kids), comfortable and had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had laundry detergent & dryer sheets left for us. Plus more than enough beach toys, chairs, snorkels, etc. than we even needed! The unit was very well-stocked.
Overall, we loved it and can't wait to come back again and visit Kauai. It was a fantastic week! Mahalo!"

"Beautiful unit on the north shore
My family had a great time at Pali Ke Kau. The biggest highlight for us was the private pathway to Hideaways Beach, which turned out to have some top notch snorkeling right off the beach. Turtles, lots of fish, eels, etc., and calm enough, at least in the summer, for our 5-year old to start snorkeling.
The unit itself was clean and comfortable and came with all the basics. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to stay in and cook. The views from the unit were impressive and it was just a short walk across the lawn to see the sunset at night or dolphins in the morning.
The complex is nicely situated for activities on the north shore and a quick drive to the towns of Hanalei, Princeville, and Kilauea. Shops and a grocery store are 2 minutes away, and if you just want to stay in, you can order decent pizza from the complex's restaurant.
Overall, this unit was an amazing place to enjoy all that Kauai has to offer. "
