Sealodge B6 is a charming little hideaway that blends Hawaiiana vintage charm with modern updates! This quiet and cozy condo has a comfortable master suite with a queen bed, as well as a punee (Hawaiian day-bed) in the living room that's great for laying and watching the waves in the distance, or sleeping a child if you're a small family. The living room and dining area are an inviting blend of modern furnishings and island-style decor, and the kitchen is nicely updated and fully-equipped for all your culinary needs! You'll also be able to pass peaceful mornings and laidback afternoons on the private lanai, which has beautiful views of the Pacific against the vibrant green landscape.

When planning your itinerary, you'll find that you're conveniently close to all that the North Shore has to offer at Sealodge B6. North Shore hot-spot Anini Beach, just 15 minutes away, has calm, clear waters, and is great for snorkeling and swimming. The beautiful (lifeguarded!) golden beaches of Hanalei Bay are also just 15 minutes away, and the water is gentle and shallow, great for swimmers of all ages. The charming Hanalei town is right nearby as well, and has all the boutique shops and delicious eateries you could ever hope for! Enjoy an upscale night out at the Hanalei Dolphin, or grab a sweet treat at Jojo's Shave Ice (if you've never had macadamia ice cream you're missing out!). If you don't mind a longer car ride, Tunnels Beach is 30 minutes away, and has some of the best snorkeling on the island, and you'll likely spot some Honu (Hawaiian Green (Property Management)s) too! For those that prefer to stay a little closer to home, the Princeville Shopping Center is only 1.5 miles away, about 5 minutes driving, and has plenty of eating out options for casual dining close to home, plus a Foodland grocery store! Happy hour at Tiki Iniki is a great way to pass the afternoon with a cocktail and an appetizer! If you have activities planned around the island, be sure to budget your travel time accordingly. Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 50 minutes, and to the South Shore is 75 minutes.

Of course, if you're after a true staycation, the Sealodge grounds have all you need for a relaxing vacation right on the premises! You can spend the day lounging by the complex pool and soaking up the sun and the views, or you can throw an impromptu barbecue using the community charcoal grills (be sure to pick up a bag of charcoal at the Foodland!). You don't even need to leave the complex to have a great beach day either, just hike down to Sealodge Beach, about a 10 minute trek, to enjoy a secluded stretch of paradise with great fishing, great snorkeling, and no crowds! The path can get quite slippery after a rainfall, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear and tread carefully.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

"Sealodge B6 vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Sealodge very much! The view was amazing, looked right out at the ocean from the lanai or the bedroom window. The condo was very clean, although older. We did not care that there was no oven, we did not need one, just used the cooktop. Our only complaint was the bed, the mattress was by far the worst we've ever slept on at any place we've stayed. We could feel every spring no matter where you laid. And the pillows definitely have seen better days. Otherwise it was a nice place for a good price. They had beach chairs, a cooler, snorkel gear. Quiet area, but close to Princeville shopping center. We would stay here again if we knew the mattress had been replaced! "

"Review SeaLodge
Overall this is a wonderful place to stay. My only negatives were : the pull chain in the bedroom closet was broken and it was very dark in there, needed more dishwasher towels, and we didn't care for the type of beach towels. I feel like we had the best view of the ocean!! We enjoyed it immensely. "

"It was great!!
The space was perfect for a couple. The views of the ocean were amazing. I even loved the chickens that root around. The neighborhood is beautiful and the walks, farmers market, hike, and beach are all a must. I would go back. "

"Beautiful big Accomodation
A lot of space and everything there you need to cooking and for beach trips"

"Everything you need and a view!
We loved staying here. Sealodge is removed from the main road and feels more secluded, even in Princeville. We loved the easy access to the Sealodge trail to the beach. Our condo view was amazing. It has everything you need for a week+ stay including cooler, two beach towels, and chairs. The bathroom does struggle with older plumbing but worked great for us. My only suggestion for improvement is the mattress. It is barebones and even for me (I sleep on a firm mattress) it was too much. I could feel the individual springs in it. It is a rental and not someone’s residence so it doesn’t have a super homey feel (no cling wrap, scissors, baggies, etc) but was everything we needed for the stay. There is construction happening all around the complex and that did mean sometimes right outside of our door, but it was only during the day when we were mostly not home. "

"Loved it!
It was so nice to open the windows, feel the ocean breeze, enjoy the view and just chill. It was just what we needed. Called with a wifi question and staff was very helpful and quick. We had a lovely time and would love to come back."

"B6 sealodge
I travel to Kauai 2-3 times a year and recently lost my vacation rental at Anini beach. The property was sold. Princeville is my option and I am looking for a new regular rental.
The view at b6 is fantastic. I saw so many whales just sitting on the lanai. It is an older unit so don’t expect posh.
The one downside was no washer/dryer in the unit. Otherwise., everything else is provided."

"Princeville condo
Great location for our needs. Very good ocean views. The exterior of the building needs an extreme makeover. Walkways and railings show rot. It was a long walk to the beach and with the pool closed, very hard to enjoy the setting."

"Location, location, location!
Exactly as pictured. Easy to get to, FABULOUS view of the ocean and perfect place to go down to the grassy area to watch the sunrise. Comfortable bed. We Didn’t need an oven so not a big deal. I’d definitely want THIS EXACT unit when I return. Only 5 steps to the parking lot. "

"Private getaway with a great beach for snorkeling
Great view, nice and private. The beach just down the trail was amazing. "

"Peace, quiet and whales...
If you are looking for peace and quiet and really rest away from the noise and chaos of most resorts, this is your place. Many places to walk, challenging trail to the beach (turtles) and not many people. Spotted whales everyday from our balcony. Not many amenities, but kitchen well stocked for cooking, pool closed during our visit, easy access to Princeville and area beaches. My only suggested would be updated bedroom furniture and linen. Would stay here again."

"6B
Great location and view. Condo not so great. The screen door was sprung and whipped back cutting my arm when I tried to bring in the luggage. I had to go to a printing shop to have the parking pass printed which was a pain. The shower faucet leaked a great deal wasting water and needed to be fixed. The washer and dryer was coin operated and was in the basement of another building. The place needed to be updated. It was not worth it considering the added costs of taxes, cleaning, et."

"Wonderful!
We had a lovely stay st the Sealodge. The property and the views are amazing. It is a little out of the way (you need a car) but we knew that when booking it and purposely were seeking the peace and quiet. The check in and out was easy and the host was very prompt in replying to some minor questions we had. The apartment itself was nothing special, but it was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. A small price for a lovely vacation spot! Loved it, would stay again. "

"Sealodge B6
The unit was clean and the property management company was easy to work with; however, the lack of a washer/dryer was a major inconvenience. There was a community laundromat in an adjacent building, but both of the washers were out of order the entire time. Also, the cook top was very difficult to figure out. "

"Not bad, but not spectacular either
What you are reading is true. It rains a lot in Princeville. Unfortunately it rained heavily during most of our stay there so this may impact on our perception. However, this lodging was a bit dated and could use some renos. It served the purpose. Before you book I would highly (highly) recommend that you consider staying on the South coast in Koloa or Poipu (spelling?)."

"Great location and view! The rest was very disappointing.
The location was great and the view is wonderful. The picture doesn't do the view justice The unit itself though felt cheap. The kitchen has pots and pans with peeling non-stick surfaces(time to toss!), cheap silverware and no BBQ tools . Though advertised the complex BBQs. Considering the limited restaurant options at this time it was a pain. Both the over the range top light bulb and a living room lightbulb were missing. Found a replacement for the lamp. This was also the worst supplied unit we've ever stayed in. We are used to buying some supplies but for our three weeks stay we were left with 1 new roll of TP and 1 new roll of paper towels and the partial rolls from previous guests. 5 trash bags and the request to take out trash daily. 5 dishwasher tablets and a partial bottle of cheap dish detergent. This may just be a cheap management company. We didn't contact them about the missing bulbs, the outdoor light that worked half the time or the other complaints because we didn't want anyone in the unit. Plus they should know the condition, it wasn't hidden. We woke up early most out mornings not to the roosters, but to other units' alarm clocks or suitcases being dragged across the floors or bounced down the stairs. Our last week there, the ocean was pretty rough. That was also the week the pool was closed, without reason or notice. Luckily for our stay on the south shore we were rewarded with a wonderful unit that was beyond our expectations!"

We had an amazing time at this rental! Everything was in driving distance and the property was amazing! We will definitely be back and recommend this location to family and friends! "

Overall a good experience. Had a few issues on arrival but the management company was extraordinarily responsive."
