"Super Cute!
This small cottage was very cute. It was close to so many restaurants, bars, and beach. There were 3 of us that stayed. The couch pulled out to a queen bed and took up the entire living room area. The bathroom is very small and not much room to put your belongings. However, I would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for our 2 night stay. Very clean and convenient to everything Port Aransas! "

"Don’t waste your money staying here
Cute little place on the outside but has some major issues. There were multiple cockroaches in the house during my stay. There was hot water for maybe 30 seconds and then just cold water. The blanket on the bed could not have been thinner, I had to bring a blanket over from my parents house. The inside could use a paint job (chipping paint and water stains on ceiling) and could use some updated furniture and decor. The bedroom dresser was falling apart. The shower rod and curtain were completely rusted. It felt like this place maybe has a lazy owner who doesn’t care about the guests experience. Other than all that felt safe and liked the location. Had a much better experience in a different cottage on the same property. They are 100x nicer and have better amenities. Skip this particular one and choose a different cottage."

"If you want shelter, this is it.
If all you’re looking for is a place to rest your head for the night, then this is the place. Don’t stay if you’re looking for luxury or space. I had to call to inquire about a barbecue grill that was nowhere to be found, yet listed on the details. In their rules they listed to use their makeup wipes and and not their towels but, no wipes. They had no kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, sugar. So, if you’re planning on cooking or having coffee, bring everything including things you’ll need to bathe. They had one bath soap the size of a half dollar for our entire stay! Bring everything. Finally, I recommend investing in a real size ironing board. The portable board in this unit was for the birds and get more manageable remotes for your televisions. They are not user friendly. Next time, I’ll pay more attention to reviews and details. The 400sq ft space wasn’t even an issue. Think of the little things. Oh, and the trash dumpster is outside the premises by the street. We were asked to take out the trash and place it in the dumpster. Naturally, we looked around the premises and didn’t find one so I called about it. I was rudely told where it was with an implication like I should have known. Oh, well. "

"Sandfest Again!
We enjoyed the stay, but the cottage we stayed in was a bit small. We’ll look for a larger one next year. Also, the TV did not get very many of the channels we normally watch, primarily ESPN. Maybe some younger folks could navigate their way around that, but since there were no instructions available, we were unable to. Would also like to give Island Outfitters a shout out for their cart service. They’re the best!"

"Small, very small
Property inside very clean, outside not so much. Very limited space for hanging cloths. Furniture not very comfortable and TV was confusing to deal with unless tech savy. That said, your out of the weather and it’s a place to sleep. "

"Wonderful getaway for a couple
We were very pleased with the cabin: It's small -- and that's what we were looking for -- but had a nice kitchen, a sitting room and bedroom. All fixtures were new, the linens were great, and -- this being Texas -- both the heater and A/C worked perfectly.

We were there with hardly anyone else on the property... It was quiet, but would not be "secluded" during high season."

"Palm Cottage
The cottage is super cute and conveniently located. Clean and perfect for two. A little bit close to the road but the traffic died down by midnight (friday and sat nights) so it wasnt bad. (Property Management) staff and website is very nice and user friendly - a very good company to rent from so far. We will use them again. We had a very nice weekend here. "

"Weekend getaway
The rental was very nice. I loved the location. It was close enough to everything. The only thing I really have to complain about are the roaches we saw / I killed. And I know his is going to sound very weird. But my boyfriend and I kept hearing a cellphone ring in the house. We searched high and low and couldn’t find what was making that beeping sound. It wasn’t our phones cause they were on vibrate. Other than that it was comfortable. "

"Nice but small and greeted by creepy crawlers
The house was cute but way smaller than imagined, however we made it work. It does need to be sprayed for bugs as we were greeted by a huge cockroach and spiders in sink in addition to small roaches in tub. For this reason we decided not to eat at home. I would also recommend adding curtains to the bedroom windows to block some light in the morning. "

"Nice little bungalow
This was a great little vacation. I am a single mom with two teens. My daughter and I slept in the bedroom and my son slept on the pullout in the living room. I cooked all meals except two during our stay; I brought a little Hamilton Beach electric grill/griddle. I wish the property had a propane grill outside. While tiny, the cottage had everything we needed. Port A is rebuilding, and unfortunately that starts at 7 am with electric equipment. Not the property's fault, but that did interrupt rest. We were maybe 4 blocks from the beach. The beach was quiet and pretty clean. The property management was very easy to work with. My only two comments about the property were the A/C has a lot of condensation and drips down onto the floor. I cleaned it up, but I worry about it as a fall hazard for someone, and the wood flooring may be affected. Also, we killed about 4 roaches while we were there. The place is immaculately clean, so I think it's probably just a problem in the area because of the humidity and climate in general. We had a great time and I would go back in a second."

"First timers
The first impression was lack of parking. There was a boat parked sideways that took up several spots which made it difficult to get in and out of the complex. The second impression were “roaches”, we found several in the kitchen. Most notably in the coffee maker which nullified any use of the kitchen utensils. We were a little disappointed in the towelsnor lack thereof. The overall comfort of the place was good the and the decor was very nice. "

"Had a great time

"Great little cottage.
This small 1 bedroom cottage was a perfect spot for my wife and I. Is within walking distance to the beach, downtown Port A,restaurants,and numerous drinking establishments. We rarely had to use our vehicle to get around town. Full kitchen with dishwasher, frig, stove, and microwave. Separate bedroom in case you have company over to sleep on the fold away bed in the living room. Small but livable place."
