This adorable condo is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator access. It offers an open-concept living area provides enough space for your family to sit & relax together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two twins. There a two full baths one in each bedroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

This condo unit is conveniently close to the large, heated pool, where you can lounge while enjoying beautiful views of the dunes and Gulf of Mexico.

Take a break from the pool in the onsite game room, which offers foosball, ping-pong, air hockey, and a TV lounge area. Perfect for a family vacation or reunion, there are many shaded seating areas to gather, chat, and enjoy a drink with others. Your kids will enjoy the play structure, and you can enjoy lunch on the picnic tables or use the BBQ grills for a family cookout.
Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only.

Took my daughter and 2 friends and stayed 3 nights, very happy with our condo and pool facilities. The beds were comfortable and furniture was nice except the couch is not very supportive and an area rug in the living room (not in pictures that I reviewed before booking but had been mentioned in other reviews) appears dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced."

"Charming condo
We had a great time and are coming back next year. A couple things: the couch cushions were uncomfortable and the rug by the couch should either be replaced or removed. Overall, the unit was amazing. Everyone I talked with to make the reservation and answer my questions were all very helpful. The location was amazing and so many restaurants to choose from. It was just a great first-time experience. Thank you."

"Summer 23
It was peaceful and outstanding, the view was great, the people were great, and the place was not what we expected. It was better than we thought. Was not advised that we couldnt park our truck under car port. in attempting to park under car port our truck substand damage to the top . Room was very out dated and smelled like mothballs. "

"Spring Break 2022
The location, pool and beach access were perfect. The condo was very clean and appropriately stocked with towels, etc. the sofa sleeper was aged and not a comfortable sleeping arrangement. At night when we returned to the condo we would have liked to watch TV, but the equipment was dated and not accessed easily. Parking was a bit odd also. Originally booking said there was an over flow area and we could ask for an additional parking pass but when I asked and one person said yes, the other said no. The confusion of parking passes came from what was posted on the site and then another explanation from the management company. The community was quiet, comfortable and perfect for a family vacation. "

"A vacay not so good vacay!!
Upon arriving in the rental it had a strong odor of some kind of chemical. I immediately called Management and asked if the rental had been fumigated? Management quickly said she didn't know that HOA takes care of that. My question was never answered as I would of expected. Management said they would send maintenance over to our rental. The maintenance man was very polite and courteous. When I asked him if he could smell what all four of us where smelling, he said "honestly, I can't smell anything because I just finished a cigarette"! Maintenance worker said he was called to spray our room with a spray that you refresh your car with. He proceeded to spray new car smell spray into vents which was overbearing and made the smell even worse. Maintenance worker also said HOA takes care of fumigation. I was hoping that they would have accommodated us by putting us in another rental. We loved Port Aransas and the beach!! Our stay in rental was not good. Sofa sleeper was not comfortable, king size bed needs to be replaced and sitting area in living room needed more comfortable sitting chairs. "

"Beachhead
I had some issues with my stay the toiletries where like paper. I spent alot of money to stay here and the products were cheap. The pots and pans were so cheap all my meals stuck to them. I left a very expensive MY PILLOW behind and the maid threw it in the trash instead of turning it in to the management team. I was livid I have never in my life stayed anywhere where the maid did not turn your left behind items in to a lost and found. I could not believe the maid threw my pillow away. Roaches were bad. Harry was very helpful and so was Lynn Grant "

"Port A Fun!
We really had a great time and the condo was exactly what we wanted!
The only issue we had was was a leaky air conditioner vent in the ceiling of the master bathroom. We did send an email and expected maintenance to come and fix it, but... we did not wait around to see if they came. It was still leaking when we left. Hope the next people that stay here can enjoy it as much as we did!"

The rental was clean except the carpet in the master bedroom. The smoke detectors were out of code and one didn't have a battery since it was open. The handle on the microwave was broke and there was no view of the beach which the pics lead us to believe especially for almost 300 per night off season."

"Very Enjoyable Stay
Port A Escapes Office and customer service was excellent. Super resourceful and gave clear communications leading up to our stay and even after. Beach Head Condo was clean, updated, spacious for 4 adults and was very easy access to the beach. Courtyard included playground for kids, grills, and picnic tables. Pool was always clean and easy access from our room. Will definitely be back to visit and will highly recommend for others!"

"Great Location
It was located close to the beach. I really liked the pathway they had that led right to it. The playground was great and easy to get to. The pool was practically outside our door which I loved. The pool I a good size pool. It was never crowded. At most there were three families there at a time, including our family of 5. The physical location of the property was excellent. It was near by tons of gift shops, restaurants, and little coffee or ice cream shops. We had no need to leave our area, everything was close by.
About the room had a weird smell to it, kinda chemical. After a day it wasn't as noticeable. I did see two small roaches, one in the toilet and one in a kitchen drawer. I saw the roaches once, but that was the only negative experience I had at this condo. Overall, this place was wonderful. The condo was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Despite the smell and our tiny housemates, I would come back again. "

"Beachhead
We had a 3-night stay over Memorial Weekend, 2016 with our 2 grandchildren, ages 10 and 13. We called ahead to let management know we would be arriving about an hour after the office closed. Upon arrival, we actually met the lady with our key, and she left and upon entering our condo (#102), we discovered that it had been overlooked in the cleaning. Beds were not made, towels thrown on the floor, etc. We informed the manager, a very nice lady, who got a maid back immediately, while we went to eat. The next day we left the condo at 5AM for an all-day fishing trip. When we returned, the AC had gone out. Again she got someone out to repair it while we went to eat in our "fishy" clothing. It was cooling when we returned. Roaches were a problem in the kitchen so we kept everything either in the frig or zip-locked in bags. The beds were very comfortable and though the furnishings were older and looked like they were picked up at garage sales, they were comfortable. It is convenient to dining, shopping and the beach. The covered parking at our condo was too low to drive our regular-sized pickup under, so we had to part at the office and walk."

"A clean, reasonable & nice place to stay in Port A.
Had a good time. Condo was clean, nicely remodeled & reasonably priced.
However the parking in this spot was a bit of a pain. We couldn't get our pick up truck, golf cart or Yukon in the designated parking spot under the car port.
The older lady manager was very rude to us on 2 different occasions. She needs to learn some tact, when dealing with customers. There was no need for the banging (not knocking) on our door nor the attitude & rudeness when asking us to move our golf cart or leave the pool area at closing time. "

"Pics don't do justice
From the outside, it may not look gorgeous , but the unit was just that. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was very well stocked, spacious living room area. My family was very happy to have found this unit and we plan the make this our regular vacation spot. A few side notes, Parking spaces say two, however there is no additional "separate space" we had to simply park right behind our other vehicle, and the carport we parked under was very low to the vehicle. The large frying pan needs replacing and we could've used more towels, but other than that, we were very happy. Pool is also very nice- great view and location! Can't wait to go back! "

"Lovely clean and refurbished home in a great location.
This was a lovely recently refurbished condo in a great location. Close to the beach and the town centre, it more than met our requirements. We didn't swim because it was too cold during Spring Break, but the kids loved the play park.

Great option for a small family!"

The property was just as described and pictured. The recent remodel made fun in the sun very comfortable and inviting. The location is at the back side of the development, so if you must have a great view or short walk to the beach, probably not the rental for you. Everything considered, we loved it and will look to rent again on our next visit to Port A."

The condo was great but when we got there, no one informed us that we were supposed to go to another location to pick up the keys. Also, when we got the keys, they didn't work and we had to wait for someone to come from the office to unlock the door. After all that, we had a great stay."
