"Blues Away" is a newly remodeled 2 bedroom 2 bath condo on the ground floor in the beachside complex of Sea Isle in Port Aransas. This spacious condo offers one queen bed in the master bedroom with a private bath. The second bedroom has a full (bottom) and a twin (top) bunkbed, with a bath located right outside the bedroom. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The open living room and kitchen is a great place for gathering. The condo’s beachside patio offers seating overlooking a dune view with amazing breezes from the Gulf of Mexico. The beach walkway is steps away from the patio. This spacious condo sleeps 6 guests. Sea Isle Village is a wonderful community complete with an oversized pool, sports court and 2 playground areas for the kids. The complex offers wireless internet. Sorry, no pets or smoking allowed.

There is parking allowed for two vehicles for this unit. One parking spot is right in front of the unit. If you rent a golf cart or have a second vehicle, you must go to the onsite Sea Isle Village office and get a parking pass for additional parking from them. Parking passes are required.

Overall, very satisfied with the space and location of the condo. Not having a mattress that could support a person on the sofa sleeper, left one of our guest without a bed. A mattress topper alone does not provide support over the bars of the sofa sleeper frame. A nice nights sleep is a crucial part of a relaxing beach vacation.
The pool was nice and spacious.
The location and short walk to the beach was about as good as you can get in Port A."

"Family Vacation!
We enjoyed our stay! Rental was clean spacious and great location to beach, downtown and lots of extra activities onsite for the kids. The borrowed sand toys and volleyball games was a pleasant surprise. Only thing I would change is checking in and out picking up keys and dropping off at a different location... key code entry would be more convenient. Aside from that which is minor the overall rental was perfect for my family. On-site manager Tammy was very sweet and helpful. "

"Review of Port A Escapes - Sea Isle Village
Nice apartment...very good location. No communication from Port A Escapes once they got our money. Left 6 days early...asked to get a little of the rent refunded; I don’t think the request was even taken seriously.
Since we were first-timers, it would have been nice if the property manager would have provided some guidance about the area, but none was offered.

"Beach4Life
Overall, we were happy with our stay. Close to the beach, nice pool, large back patio area. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, and having 2 bathrooms was great. We will stay again. It was a little dirty when we arrived (dirty sheet/sand in sofa bed, not enough towels/wash cloths, hair in tub and on floor in bathroom). Called management at Port A Escapes for more towels and never got a call back."

"Family Weekend
The place was great over all. Great beds and sleeping arrangments. When we tried to use the pullout couch the fitted sheet that was on it was used and not cleaned. The complexes pool was a green color. Over all it was a good experience. "

"Old fashioned Condo with no wifi
I'll start by saying this condo was clean. Upon arrival the a/c was not working. It was very hot and uncomfortable. The management took some time to come out but did come and address the issue. We had to go to dinner and linger just not to come back too soon and be hot. Two days later in the middle of the night the a/c went out again leaving us HOT! This time when I contacted the management they were a little less happy about coming out. This was our last day so we packed up and left early. This condo unit also offers no wifi. The furniture was not very comfortable and the place was dated. I would not stay here again or make any recommendations either."

The vacation part was what we wanted,but,the unit we stayed in was very out dated and uncomfortable,the beds were small and hard ,ive stayed in a better unit in the past..the pool was great,the exterior property..very clean..overall to much$$$$ for this unit!!"

"Not recommended
The walkway to the beach was a sand trail. The sand was too hot to walk on even with sandals. Burned feet. Only 1 shower in a 2 bedroom condo. No electrical outlet for blow dryer in bathroom with shower very few pots/pans to cook with. No internet access. Paid way too much for what we got. Only 2 chairs on patio to accommodate 6 people. Bar-b-que grill was broken. The best part was the pool. Nice and some covered area. "

"It was sufficient...
The location was great! The inside of the condo was a disappointment! The rental company said we had guaranteed check in by 4:00. When I went to the office at 3:50 they said it wasn't ready and made me sit there waiting until after 4:00. The beds are literally the worst beds I have ever slept in. The furniture is from the 1970's. The couch in the front room is horribly uncomfortable to sit on. No hot pads or cookie sheets in the unit. No movies, no wifi and even though it says 2 bathrooms...one is only a tub. The shower has zero water pressure and when we got there the cold water wouldn't turn on so we couldn't take showers. So when the maintenance guy did come he put a wrench on it. Super tacky! "

"definite room for improvement
Sea Isle was great about accomodating our late reservation & arrival but upon entry into our room, we were met with a sink of dirty dishes. Additionally, we were not provided with towels (as advertised) nor (more importantly) with toilet paper! Lastly, like most coastal properties, our condo had bugs. "

"Out Of Date
Considering the amount of money we paid for the condo, my husband and I were very unhappy. The furniture in the living room was so old that when you sat down, you would sink completely, feeling all the springs on your bottom. The beds were also uncomfortable due to feeling of the springs on your back. The full size bed was broken, missing legs under the bed, so the entire bed wobbled side to side. My husband and I actually just put the mattress on the floor in order to sleep some what comfortably. The bedding was filthy and covered in stains. We actually went out and bought sheets for us to use for the weekend. My husband, my son and I were covered in bites when we returned back to San Antonio, only to discover that they were bed bug bites. The filthiness of this condo was definitely the cause. Overall, our stay was nothing like we would have imagined for the cost and I must say that we would most likely never book this room ever again."

We have been Sea Isle villagers for over 20yrs. # 29 however is in real bad shape, broken beds, old. old carpet, etc, not worth 250 a day. Not sure what your company can do to change it...... "

"Pass on this Rental.
This condo is in dire need of renovation. When I first walked into the condo, an old musty stench hit me in the face, and there were dead bugs on the floor and live bug in the bathroom. A quick look around and I was instantly worried about bedbugs. The carpet was so dirty that it turned the bottoms of my kiddos feet grey/brown. If you do rent this condo, take with you cleaning supplies, your own air mattress, sheets and blankets, a candle or sensy product to cover the musty 1960’s old trailer smell. I paid $448 for two nights and believe me - I counted down the hours to check-out. Very disappointing."
