In the event of an emergency, Agent reserves the right at Agent’s discretion, to refund on a case-by-case basis only, part of any deposit, rent or fees paid, minus an administrative fee, upon notice of cancellation by Guest. Any deposit, rent or fees retained by Agent pursuant to this provision shall be agreed upon liquidated damages, consideration for the execution of this Rental Agreement and in full settlement of all claims.

"Fabulous Holiday House!
PORT OF THE WHALE was the perfect vacation rental for our three-generation family gathering. The home is lovely, had plenty of space for our group of 9, and is in an incredible location. The elevator was appreciated by the family member who has difficulty navigating stairs. We visited in December and enjoyed both the beach and the pools. The property is close to St. Augustine, and we saw a spectacular rocket launch from the second and third level decks. We loved the ocean view and listening to the waves all day long (this may change as it appears that a home is going to be built on the vacant lot between the home and the beach). We would definitely visit again."

"House was Perfection for our big extended family
Everything out staying on this home was perfect. It was stocked with anything and everything. Beds were super comfy... Living space was spacious and comfy, plenty of dining areas. We had daily rent a condo nearby and also more family renting a house right across from us - the neighborhood and proximity to beach and pools was exactly what we wanted. Two issues, there were huge boulders in the Ocean and hard to avoid. We left with many scrapes and cuts on our legs and feet. 2nd issue was there was no access to a ramp to the beach so you had to lug the beach cart up and down a flight of stairs. An easy fix for the community. The proximity to St Augustine was close. 5 stars all around when it came to the house, the boulders and no ramp brought it down to four!"

"Lovely, clean, large property in beautiful beachfront community
Our party of 5 adults and 4 kids thoroughly enjoyed staying at Port of the Whale for a week! The house is clean, completely updated and fresh, and is minutes by foot to the ocean and the pool. We lacked for nothing staying here! The owners provided beach towels, bogie boards, a cart and every thing you can think of in this well appointed home. (Even with beautiful original art throughout!) Thank you for a wonderful stay in a gorgeous home!"

"Family Vacation 2022
We had a great time staying at the Port of the Whale. This was our second time to stay. We took our large family and everyone decided is where we want to stay every year. The location is excellent, three houses down from the clubhouse, pools and beach access. It is directly across the street from the ocean so we loved the views. The house was equipped with everything we needed. This will definitely be an annual trip!"

"Fantastic family fun!
We had an amazing time at this property! It was totally spacious with plenty of privacy, absolutely immaculate and had everything you could possibly need and more. The owners simply thought of everything. The location was perfect as well, only a few houses away from the pool and beach entry. There is a view of the ocean which you can enjoy from the balcony. My advice is don’t waste your time driving to touristy attractions and just enjoy the slow pace of this perfect beach neighborhood, there’s plenty to do close by and you can avoid the hustle and bustle of crowds! "Port of the Whale
This house was a last minute option because our other house wasn't going to be ready in time for our vacation. This house was in the same subdivision we have been in for the last 7 years. the house was Beautiful, clean, and has great views of the Ocean. The owners even had beach chairs and coolers that we could use for the week. Our family loves this area and will continue to come back. I would high recommend this house if a beach vacation is in your future. We took 10 people with us and had plenty of room, WIFI was good and roku's in every room. The view of the Ocean from the third floor in the morning was gorgeous. My only suggestion there is you may want to bring a fan for the Balcony it does get hot very early in the morning with the Sun hitting you in the face. Nighttime is very peaceful as you enjoy your drink on the Balcony listening to the waves crashing. "

"Total Luxury with Ocean View
These hosts really have thought of every detail. The house will comfortably sleep at least 10 people. It's comfy & cosy for rainy days. But when the sun is out there are many beach towels & toys - even a cart to carry your beach things the few steps to the beach access. Kitchen well stocked - has all you could possibly need. "

"Very nice place
Very clean house. Great location. Convenient to the beach and the pool. Well stocked with kitchen needs, beach chairs, etc. The elevator was unreliable (someone got stuck in it twice). The management, however, was quick to answer our calls for help. Needs a permanent fix. No traditional cable service, but thankfully we had Hulu and Netflix accounts for the TVs. We didn't realize how gross the pillows were until we stripped the beds at the end. They need to be replaced! Overall a good experience."

"Family Vacation For Twelve.
The home was gorgeous and just as advertised. My family has stayed in condos and homes in Cinnamon Beach for almost 10 years and in St Augustine Beach for 25 years prior to that and this is definitely the best property we have rented. Had one minor problem which the home owner and management company took care of immediately even though it was after hours on a Saturday. While we loved the house we were disappointed that the community children's pool play area was being replaced and was out of service the entire week. Looked like it had been under construction for awhile and we were not aware of this until our first visit to the pool. I feel we should have been advised of this prior to check-in so we could make a decision if we wanted to keep our reservation. It was disappointing to three of my grandchildren who are 8 yrs, 5 yrs and 2 yrs and were looking forward to using the play area. Other than the lack of the advertised play area we all had a great stay."
