"Mixed feelings
What to say.... I have mixed feelings about the property. First the good... The size of the house is great, plenty of space, very close to walk to the beach, shower outside for you to clean off before going inside, well air-conditioned. The opportunities all of the sheets had some sort of stain on them, literally every bed in every room. It's not really 3 bathrooms. It actually only has 2 full bath (we can debate the jack and Jill) and 2 half baths. For larger groups, this is an Important point. The pool really needs a good cleaning, there was garbage from previous tenants in the pool area, the grill is so filthy that it needs to be replaced at this point...I'm not talking about rusting because it's close to the ocean, I'm literally talking about old food, grease, etc. The house seems like it may be in a transition, the master bathroom is very nice, except fixtures kept falling off the wall. Not every fan I the house works. So, you can maybe see why my review is titled mixed feelings, and this could be more property management related than owner. Unfortunately, the opportunities are preventing me from recommending at this time. If things are updated and addressed I would be able to recommend in the future. "

"70th Birthday celebration
For my birthday i chose to spend it with my 2 sons, 2 dtg-in-laws and 3 grandkids. We ALL have different food allergies so eating out is impossible. The kitchen here accomodated all three of us cooking our meals. House VERY clean. Loved having beach towels and beach chairs with a wagon. Beach 5 minute walk. Used both front and back patios depending on sunshine and temperature. Appreciate my son could bring his dog. This home took care of us with any and all issues. Your maintenance man is a GEM!!!! Only have rave reviews here and have traveled and rented beach homes for over 30 years. "

"Beach Haven
Checked in Saturday, Somewhat disappointed in number of bath towels supplied. Went to use washing machine om Monday. Totally surprised by a full load of towels still in washing machine that had stopped working from cleaning crew. E-mailed property management Monday night and washing machine was fixed next am by 9:30 AND Amazon arrival of more towels that afternoon. Very quick response to our problem.That being said, was disappointed in lack of effort to inform us that anything was being done. Since towels are to be done first by tenants leaving, it makes me wonder if we indeed were sleeping on dirty bed linen all week. Cleaning crew obviously did not do their job. I was told that we would be refunded cleaning deposit, but have not seen anything yet. Other than that, house and location were excellent. Entire property was fun and beautiful. Our granddaughters loved the splash pad. Two separate pools,including a quiet pool that overlooks beach and ocean. Cleaning crew rating=1

"Nice house but a bit disappointing
Nice home in a desirable gated community - close to the community pool.The Cinnamon Beach Vacation staff were very responsive, especially Crystal.

However, we were very disappointed in the outdoor kitchen area. The grill was disconnected and unusable. The portable grill that was provided was dirty and we were concerned whether it was functional. Lack of wash clothes, bowls, glasses and serving bowls, but was fixed quickly by Crystal."

"This is my happy place!

"Beach Haven
Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay at Beach Haven. It is a great home in a beautiful neighborhood. Having a private plunge pool at the house was great too. Plus there are two hugh pools close to Beach Haven plus The Grill had very good food for the evenings we wanted to stay in. And the beach access is just across the street. We would definitely recommend this home.

"Wonderful Family Beach House
This home was wonderful for 6 adults & 2 dogs, who all work at home. The multiple levels, living rooms and bedrooms accommodated us well. The house was clean & comfortable with adequate cooking equipment. If you cook, you will need to obtain your own cooking basics i.e. salt/pepper/sugar/spices etc. The rental office was extremely helpful to us during our stay."

"Family Vacation
Beautiful home. We were told about 1 hour before we arrived that our original reservation couldn't be honored due to AC repair. We were given this home and told it was an upgrade.
In regards to the outdoor setup, we were disappointed with the comparison between the other home and this one. The other one had a beautiful, large 2nd story balcony with a small view of the ocean, grill, and outdoor seating. We were looking forward to utilizing that. However, the small hottub/pool was a nice plus. The kids enjoyed it.The house had a vast kitchen and pantry. The cooking utensils and cookware were pretty cheap, and pans were scratched up quite a bit.House needs a broom and full vacuum. The vacuum left for us to use was a wand and was difficult to clean with.There were several items that were broken or not working properly, but management offered to have them repaired quickly. We declined but simply wanted them to know. You can hear everything from the second floor when you are downstairs. It's extremely loud.

The amenities are top notch and everyone was super friendly. We enjoyed the community pool several times. The access to the beach is close. The beach is beautiful and has so many shells. We didn't get in the water very deep because it was rough and cold. Beautiful area and close to other major cities. We took day trips to Daytona and St. Augustine.

"Beach Haven in Cinnamin beach
We had a nice stay at this rental. A nice location and plenty of room for a family of 7. There were two fireplaces that were not in working order and it was chilly the week we were there. We had to contact someone only to find out that they were no longer functional. That should be noted somewhere in the description and in the unit. The heat downstairs was also not functional. We reached out to the contact, but no one ever responded. The temps were in the high 40s and we were cold. There also was no broom to keep the floors cleaned. There should definitely be a broom. Other than those things, it was a nice place to stay."

"Family Vacation
We love Cinnamon Beach and have been going there for years. We always enjoy our time there. Unfortunately, the property we stayed at this year left a lot to be desired. While the home itself was spacious and over all beautiful, it unfortunately was in a state of disrepair.
The dryer didn't work, and we ultimately had to use another properties dryer to be able to do laundry. The kitchen sink had a leak and overflowed into the floor, and the downstairs 1/2 bath was clogged and didn't flush. The upstairs 1/2 bath apparently had a faulty flush valve that did not shut off the refill of the toilet properly, so it overflowed and leaked down into the ceiling of the main bath downstairs. The maintenance department responded quickly to all our calls and fixed everything but the dryer issue very quickly. Having said that, it was very obvious that these issues were not new. Reviews spoke to the dryer issue before we came, someone knew about the leak under the kitchen sink because we discovered that a glass baking dish had been placed under the faucet when the water overflowed into the kitchen floor."

"Spring Break trip
Overall, the experience was good. The house is very nice and was clean. It was as described, however, the heater for the spa/pool was not functioning and the oven smoked as soon as we turned it on so we did not use it. Those were not big deals. Our biggest disappointment was with the resort access. We expected to be able to access the neighboring golf courses, but it was not clear that "resort access" was only for the two pools in the neighborhood. When we tried to make a tee time, the golf shop told us they had had many renters from the "yellow house" try to do the same thing, so this was not just our misunderstanding. The description should be much clearer."

"Nice home but could have been better
First off let me say that we have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals across a price levels. This home is beautiful as would have to be expected for the price we paid. Some of these points will seem nit picky but the fact is that it is the attention to details that make the most difference on a higher priced rental.

1)First issue was the location. The property description said " Our home literally is facing the ocean, which means your feet hit the sand right out our front door before you can say Canary Bay!" This is misleading and false. The home is across the street from the beach and .09 miles from the sand (about 500 feet). This was not a huge issue because the weather wasn't really condusive for a full day at the beach but when lugging chairs and umbrellas it was a big difference from walking out your door and being on the sand.

2. Cooking supplies were sub-standard. Pots and pans were all mis-matched and sratched. Every single cup in the property was dirty, and while the listing probably is acurte about what is included the extra effort to replace items and review cleanliness would have made a big difference.

3. Outdoor grill did not work.

4 Plunge pool was cold and no instructions were provided as to how to operate the jets and heater.

As I mentioned, generally this place was fine but I believe we paid $900/night and I definately expected more for that nightly rate."

"Nice Shell but No Service
This house was apparently newly "completed". Unfortunately for us, that meant a hot tub that did not work and despite daily calls to our "management" person who assured us our pool person was on his way, it was never fixed. In fact, after 2 days, he quit even answering our calls. Very disappointing fora family from Iowa who SPECIFICALLY booked a house with a hot tub. The carpets going up the stairs were filthy (I assume they weren't cleaned after construction). Multiple light fixtures had no light bulbs, many details were not finished. The master shower door would not close completely so when you showered water leaked everywhere. Safety was nice and gated in the area. Ocean access was across the street. Small pool within the complex. I would NEVER stay here again or use this company, service was HORRIBLE. We have used many times and had excellent experiences, I am sad to say this was less than desirable. Our primary issue was the lack of response from our contact person. One of our children left some items in a room, we left a message with the management contact person and have yet to hear back. Worst service we have EVER had from any company."

"Winter Get Away
This was our 5th yr at Cinnamon Beach. 35 nights is our regular winter break. As always the CVR company was there to welcome us and see that we were nicely settled in. House was lovely, lots of space. The master suited was exceptional we enjoyed the fireplaces. Kitchen fully stocked appliances. Plenty of towels for the beach. Our only negative was all the carpeting it need to be clean. "

"Good family option for larger crowd
Overall Canary Bay is a lovely place to stay and incredibly convenient for the beach access a few houses down. From the master bedroom you can see the ocean and enjoy the sun rising in the East every morning. Kitchen is great with a large eat in area and screened porch right off that. Laundry machines were top of the line which is fantastic for a rental property.

The house seemed well maintained and the furniture was fairly good. Bring your own pillow for sleeping there were plenty but none of them too comfortable which for a rental is understandable at least they were clean!

The bed in the master bedroom is hard as a rock so in mattress lingo that would be firm. We ended up sleeping downstairs in the king bed- very comfortable! Only issue every noise of someone moving around upstairs you can hear so use a sound machine and you should be fine!

A few notes:
We stayed here on our spring break and were expecting to have access to the grill at the pool but it was CLOSED because someone new bought it. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

Getting in the gate house security is so incredibly slow. I appreciate there are owners who want to vet the people coming in but it is certainly not a quick process especially during busy times.

The pool at the house should be called a larger hot tub - it is very small just for dipping into.

"Great Stay at Canary Bay
Our trip started off with a slight issue that was resolved quickly. The day we checked in we realized that the upper levels air conditionner was broken. The temporature was 105 degrees on the upper level but acceptable on the ground floor. Though inconvenient, Jacqueline from (Property Management) was exceptionally quick to roll up her sleaves. The repair took a little over 24 hours to complete but all was done as quickly as possible. Scott Massey was very fair in compensating us for the issue as well. We are quite satisifed with the house the team and would recommend them. We appreciated the location as it was accross the street from the beach."

"Perfect Beach House Accommodations!
My family rented this house while visiting Florida in mid-May. The master suite is GIGANTIC and the fireplace in the bedroom is a nice touch. We really liked how there are separate living rooms for upstairs and downstairs, so everybody is not on top of each other. The layout of the house was really perfect for accommodating several couples or one or two families. Plus, the rest of our party rented the beautiful Ocean Reef home next door, so it was very convenient for our large party to stay in side-by-side houses. (Property Management) was absolutely great to work with, we will definitely use them again!"
