This adorable oceanfront home has everything your need for a fun filled beach vacation! Enjoy beautiful ocean views and endless sunrises from one of the two oceanfront balconies. Admirals Roost features Eight bedrooms, 4 full & 2 half baths and can accommodate up to 24 people. This North Myrtle Beach home offers Wireless Internet, Cable TV, and Smart televisions so you can enjoy Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime.

Admiral's Roost is a raised beach house located in the desirable Crescent Beach Section of North Myrtle Beach.
The nostalgic charm of a classic beach house was kept inside with newly stained hardwood floors and tongue and groove pine on the walls and ceiling. Each floor offers a spacious living area with a large flat screen Smart TV, four bedrooms, and two and one half restrooms. The superbly furnished kitchen is on the top floor and the laundry room is on the first floor.

The home has a beautiful ocean front pool with a spill over spa. The pool can be heated for an additional fee of $350, that is already included into the final price. Pool cannot be heated if the temperature is below 45 degrees.

If you experience any issues at all during your stay, please call us! 9 out of 10 times we are able resolve your issue over the phone within minutes by directing you to back up supplies, instructions, etc.

Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Guests are supplied with a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom and 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

Great location, wonderful views, very spacious. A few very minor issues, nothing unexpected for a beach rental. They provided so much, the only thing I would add is outside dining, maybe a picnic table, pool level, under the deck. The house is very homey, prefect for a family with children. "Beach time
Loved the location. Views were wonderful. Pool and hot tub were a great addition to the location. Close and convenient. Place needs some upkeep and updating. Issue with bugs, old furniture, and leaky spots. Team was responsive about sending someone out to check in issues, but the person often didn't come in time slot and was missed by us so we couldn't show the issues."

Perfect location, awesome pool and spa. Inside house was very outdated. Several electrical plugs,switches and outlets did not work. There was exposed wires. Nice bedrooms but bathrooms are cubicles. "

"Less Admiral Than Expected
We very much enjoyed several aspects of our stay- the number of beds and bedrooms, the location, the view, the decks, plenty of parking and space for our large family. However, the house was not well cleaned, including dust balls, dirty dishes, splattered walls and mirrors (especially toothpaste), water bottles and trash under beds. For a place that advertises for 20+ guests, there were not enough forks, only 1 measuring cup and other challenges with preparing meals. The management was the worse. We had issues with the pool. I called 3 times with no call backs and had to show up at the office. They took care of getting us lightbulbs and fixing the toilet, but I had to call again the following day on the pool. Once the pool was finally cleaned, we had another issue. I called at 7:58 am and had to call back at 4:00 pm. They said that they didn't know anything about the problem. We did not get to enjoy the pool or hot tub most of the week. I could go on, but I am out of characters. "

"Perfect spot
Our group of guys have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 20 years for a golf trip. This was our first time in a beach house rather than condos on the golf course. I have to say we will never go back to the condos. This place was perfect, right on the beach, new pool, and great location. It wasn’t in perfect condition inside... the bathrooms are pretty small, but if you’re hanging out inside too much you’re missing the point. Would recommend and stay again in the future!"

"Great family house

"Exceptional Stay!
The property was great! Plenty of room, very clean, great pool, etc! Our only complaint is that the cable line was cut before we arrived so we didn’t have cable or Internet during our stay... more of the fault of spectrum rather than the property management who were helpful and kept us updated on getting it resolved! would definitely stay here again though! "Great Place For a Group Get-Away
We loved the place. We had a "Framily" (Friends that are like family) get away weekend. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. Right on the ocean. Pool being added will be awesome for next year. (3) small issues: some of the mattresses need to be replaced; there need to be more frying pans (only 1) and it could have been a little cleaner. Honestly - all minor in comparison to our wonderful experience."

"Great home on the beach
7 golfers- one week- 6 rounds of great golf in Myrtle Beach. We were looking d a house where we could all stay and have access to the beach. This was the perfect fit. Plenty of space, great views and amazing sunrises. A few minor issues that, if they were fixed, would have made this even better. BBQ grill had not been cleaned for some time. Fixtures are dated but fully functional. A few minor repairs on the front steps are needed. All in all, I would easily return and just may the next time we return. Close to anything you may need- great local restaurants, church, shopping and plenty of golf courses. "

"Needs better cleaning
The home itself was very spacious, with the exception of the bathroom sizes which are very small. The home was in a nice location and had easy access to the beach. However, upon arrival the home had not been properly cleaned and we found food items underneath furniture in several different rooms. This likely was the cause of the ant problem. Some of the furniture is old and worn out particularly the couch in the upstairs living room which is faux leather and it has pieces flaking off all over. The internet constantly drops the WiFi signal making it difficult to stream the Roku TVs as well as having numerous people using smart phones. We had 17 people and 14 phones. The sheets are wrapped in cellophane upon arrival and when we opened them to put them on the bed I discovered that my flat sheet for my king size bed was torn about half way down on one side. The outside shower was not working properly and would not shut off. I tried to report the problem Saturday evening and all day Sunday and was not able to reach anyone at the rental company because the phones were down. I called again Monday morning. They did return my call in the afternoon and promptly sent someone over to fix it. However, we lived with the ants all week. I probably would not rent this house again. "

We had 9 people total and 2 dogs. We all loved this place! 24 people may have been too crowded for us. The only complaint I might have would be that the bathrooms are very small, but with the number of people we had it worked fine for us. We would definitely stay here again."

"Family Retreat
This was my first time renting from VRBO in which I never had any direct contact with the owners. The management company was able to address one of my concerns (a broken toilet handle), but 2 others were, according to them, not their responsibility. The gas grill (something provided by the owner, not the management company) was gross when we arrived. We had to buy a new brush and cleaner before it could be used. It later ran out of gas in the middle of preparing dinner on our next to last night, so it was a minor inconvenience. One set of sheets did not fit the bed they were supposed to, so we ended up buying a set (the management office was closed) for the bed. We were given a credit for that. I found some forgotten toys, an empty cracker box and a few dust bunnies under the beds as I was making them, and 2 of the TV remotes needed batteries. These problems were with the management company. The house itself was great. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out (although the half baths are TINY), yet when we wanted to all be together, we fit. Being a dune away from the beach was super (but what beach house doesn't have any beach chairs?), and the hardier souls enjoyed the surf. I did not like having the kitchen on the upper level: it was 3 flights of stairs to bring in groceries! Having a drinks 'fridge on the lower level worked well. The younger generation would have preferred being closer to the Boardwalk and other attractions. Overall, it was a great week in a fine house, and everyone had a good time. "

"Myrtle Beach Marathon Weekend
Property is a great building and location was exactly what we were looking for. The property was not as well maintained as we had hoped. The cleanliness wasn't what we thought it would be for this price point. The bed had bugs (NOT bed bugs) but bugs we had to dispose of and the sheets were stained. The floors were dirty (not sand), the grills were falling apart, and outdoor furniture was rusting and metal shards were on the decks. Refrigerators were spotless! If there were a few tweaks it would be an amazing property! "

"Family Vacation 2018
Admirals Roost was PERFECT for our family’s vacation. As with the other reviews, the bathrooms are small but not to the point that it would stop us from renting it again next year. One suggestion on the bathrooms is to put a few shelves over the toilet so that you could keep your bathroom essentials in the bathroom. The upstairs king only had one night stand but we made it work by wheeling a table in from the living room. The location was awesome and the parking was a definite plus. Our family has already talked about renting it next summer. "

"June 2018 Admirals Roost Vacation
We had 22 family members in this house for one week. It was probably the most fun I've had in many years. The property was perfect for us. However, this house needs 3 things for us to want to stay here again. 1. It badly needs an upgraded router. Our internet connection was troublesome and difficult at times. The router is outdated and very inadequate. 2. It would need more seating in both the upstairs and down stairs. 3. We must have a pool on our next vacation. With theses 3 upgrades I could see our family renting this house repeatedly for years to come. "

"Christmas in Family
Our family meets somewhere every two years. We have rented places up and down the east coast, but this was the first on the beach. It was Winter, but our family were delighted to have this place on the beach to enjoy our time together. 5 of the 17 even did a polar-bear swim. Burr...but fun!"

"North Myrtle Beach Getaway
Home was clean upon arrival and as described. The views were fantastic and access to the beach was right by the house. The lower ac unit in the home was not working as well as the upper unit but we choose not to have Southern Coast work on it at the time we were in it. The only drawback for us was the bathrooms were very small and cramped and the master bedrooms did not have the cable hooked up in those areas (they had Roku as mentioned). The staff at Southern Coast was very helpful and right on the things we noticed upon arrival and fixed them immediately, except for the ac which we choose to wait on. We would rent with Southern Coast Rentals again but would check their other properties and rent if we go back to North Myrtle Beach and if Admirals Roost is the only option left we would rent it again, just not first choice due to the bathrooms being on the small side. Activities we did was mostly on the beach were paddle ball, bocce ball, body surfing, skim boarding and we did go on the banana boat rides (which is a must) and played some different miniature putt putt games. We also visited a variety of restaurants and you must try Johnny D's Waffle & Bakery in Myrtle Beach and Dinos' House of Pancakes in North Myrtle Beach.... both were spot on in taste and quality/freshness of the food."
