"Do yourself a favor and DO NOT book
I have been staying at this resort for years. The resort it’s self is nice. But do not book this condo. There’s lots of beautiful ones to stay in. The management was not responsive for all the issues we had. The condo was very dirty. Mold on the shower curtains and shower. Cigarettes butts in drawers. The freezer didn’t work. We had to throw all the ice cream and other things out. They need to throw that fridge away asap. There’s a chino of the way missing by sliding doors. The sliding doors barely work. The whole condo needs redone. Please do yourself a favor and book a different one at this resort. "

"Not the greatest....
Our trip started out bad when the host canceled on us 2 days before we left. There was confusion on his part with a previous reservation I had canceled in early March, he was able to fix our canceled reservation. When we arrived at the room it was filthy due to housekeeping being short staffed and running behind, I understand that happens but what bothered me was him not letting me know it was not ready. Housekeeping came in shortly after we arrived and did clean but maybe they felt rushed because we were there and did not clean as well as they could have. The room was very outdated as far as the furniture, if you plan to use the fold out sofa as a bed, let me save you some pain and tell you to take an air mattress. The sliding patio doors are also a little hard to get opened so be prepared to pull with a little extra force. There were plenty of dishes for us. The pictures made this place seem much bigger than it actually is so that was a little disappointing. The location was perfect for us, very close to the beach and on the 1st level. I would only recommend this because of the location and it being easily accessible on the 1st floor but it could use some updating. "

"MB Resort
The unit needs updating. Our feet were dirty from walking on the tile floor. The unit above us several guest in that unit got into a big fight about 1 in the morning. We called security twice and they never came. We got very little sleep that night."

"Great price, not totally satisfied!
Condo needs some updating. We were VERY disappointed to find out kiddy pool and lazy river was under construction. I definitely think we deserved to know that before arriving as I may have cancelled. With other pool outside not being heated it was very difficult to find things for little children to do besides beach. Also, I am 90% sure I obtained a bed bug rash from a couch/bed in condo. Probably not going to stay at this resort ever again!"

"March Getaway
We had stayed at Myrtle Beach Resort in 2014 and 2015. We love the location of MBR with its proximity to the ocean and Murrell's Inlet. We found this unit through Vrbo and, for the price, it was an acceptable place to stay. I would suggest some decor upgrades, but the spaciousness of the living area and its two bedrooms and bathrooms made it comfortable both for ourselves and guests.

"Good Place for a Getaway
The unit itsself was great. No issues, everything worked properly. The property manager was very friendly and quick to respond. Would like MBM to update their listing with what is needed (toiletries, kitchen needs, etc). The building was not well maintained and had an odor, but that's nothing on the property manager. It is located between two big family campgrounds so the best thing we learned was to go out early in the morning to stake out out spot on the beach."

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it could have been better. Television in second bedroom didn’t work at all, mold in MB shower and in shower curtain, dishes had to be hand washed before using as food particles remained from previous guest and unit could have been much cleaner."

"Myrtle Beach Resort 116B
Original booking was for Oceanfront 1 bedroom, 1 bath. Last minute booking so we received a call that it wasn't available due to infestation. Was offered 2 br, 2ba first floor side view. very spacious for 2 adults and a child but was disappointed. Older basic unit with no view. Was told we didn't need to bring anything but beach towels and that was misleading. Found broken glass on porch where little feet week walking, no remote for tv in master and a toaster that didn't work properly. Would not rent again. "

"we had an very bad experience
we could not get any help from an live person when needed maintenance on the room it smeal badly and we was accused of smoking in the room and i told the person who called me that said we did that that wasn't true my guest smoked out doors on the balcony and he said to me not to rent again from him and called me you people and charged me 100 dollars for something i told him i did not do it was an unauthorsise charge and i am contesting it water was coming from the slinding door and i had to put towels under it to keep from walking in water and it smelled"
