"Great view and location
Overall we had a good stay... The condo was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning stopped working on several occasions making it extremely hot in the condo, almost as hot as outside As the temperatures were in the 90s. Service was called after the third call and we were told the air conditioning could not be fixed. "

"A great time at the Beach.
this was a lovely condo suggestions another armchair pretty squishy sitting 3 on a couch, needed a tea kettle, everything needed though would go again next year if available would def recommend to friends angelos restaurant was awesome and pancake house too one night front gate a little overboard first night there we went out but didn't take the code the uber driver said we'd be ok well the person on the gate wouldn't let him in even though we had our keys and we had to walk to tower in howling winds all of us over 70 but we made it maybe just a little more empathetic to seniors since we had a seniors moment with no code. "

"Rental Review
Location of property was great, right on the beach and within distance to food store. Location is nestled between two RV parks. While folks were having fun on the beach evening noise level was low. Bar/restaurant on the beach which was fun. The unit was good but outdated. Not as clean as we would have liked. However, management was very nice and quick to respond. We understood they had a difficult client the week before. Good value for the week."

"The Hammack Myrtle Beach Anniversary
The resort itself was nice. The rooms needs to be updated. We saw roaches in and out the cond. It has very easy excess to the beach which we loved. The outside of the building looked nice and the grounds were kept well. For the price, it was worth be right by the beach"

"Vacation stay was great!
Came into a very cool stay, temp was set below suggested temp which I corrected to avoid any issues, 4 elevators had a wait which to me is to be expected with a 2 hour check in time. Was very pleased with the set up and how well the kitchen was equipped. Only issue and I am guessing this may happen often during hard rains, rain water came in both sliding glass windows just glad I was there to place towels down! I would stay here again"

"Sunrises and fireworks
Great location! From our balcony, we watched the sunrise every morning, and enjoyed the fireworks every evening. The unit had large rooms and plenty of storage. We cooked almost every meal. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed(except a grater for cheese). The unit was very convenient to the elevator and the trash chute. Although it was a moderate walk to the parking lot, it was much easier than those horrible tight parking garages. Cons: The teens didn't much like the small tv in the second bedroom, and the bed in the master was very hard and uncomfortable. I called management(Pat) after the first night to ask if we could be supplied with a pillow top or egg crate for the bed. He asked me what I needed and, after it was discussed, he reimbursed me for an air mattress that we put on the bed that helped a great deal. He was great to work with and quick to respond. Several of the pools were closed due to covid-19. Though understandable, there should be limitations on how long people can stay in the pool at a time. The whole week, we were only able to get into a pool twice. It just wasn't worth it, which was very disappointing. Certain families would stay all day so others didn't have an opportunity. This could be resolved with different colored arm bands(like trampoline parks) to allow more people access. Things that would be appreciated: a cheese grater and towel hangers on the bathroom doors. Pros definitely outweigh the cons. We will be back!"

"Had to get away Vacation during Covid
Had to get away even with Covid being everywhere. Glad we were not in the center of things like Myrtle Beach downtown area because of Covid and wanting to distance. It was perfect as we were not over crowded during this stay. Beach was fantastic! Condo had nice view. Bar on beach can be heard at times even though we were on the 9th floor. Did not know campgrounds surround these 3 buildings on both sides but was fine even not knowing as everyone was nice.
Recommend getting a better mattress or even bigger bed in the master bedroom. I thought mattress was a little old and hard. Pull out couch was used by my teenage daughter and she said mattress was not very comfortable because you can feel the springs-twin beds were great per my other teen daughters. Overall a 4. Coffee maker was missing lid and the management brought another one up in less than 30 min-quick response."

"A Piece of Paradise
Our family chose Myrtle Beach Resort for our vacation experience after searching several vacation spots, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the condo was home away from home. The view from the ninth floor is breathtaking, and we spent much of our down time on the balcony enjoying the view. The condo was clean and well-maintained with plenty of room for our family to kick back and relax. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cooking supplies and the room was conveniently located to the elevator. The resort is family friendly with wonderful accommodations on property such as a restaurant, several indoor and outdoor pools, and a convenient store. It is located near some fabulous restaurants, mini-golf courses, and Murrell's Inlet which was one of our favorite places to visit. The management and customer service representatives are the best! They care about your concerns and go out of their way to meet your needs and expectations. You can't go wrong with this piece of paradise."

"Family vacation trip was a success
Our vacation was great. Our room was clean and well supplied. On the 9th floor and once the third elevator was fixed it wasn't too bad going up. We did use the stairs going down. It was nice that there was no pets allow and no smoking. The beach was clean and wasn't a lot of hard partying around. It was good for older people and good for my nephews/nieces (around mid 20's). Everyone enjoyed ourselves. There were plenty of things around Myrtle Beach to do for all ages. The hotel was centrally located for all of our activities. The beach bar had great singers (well...maybe not during the karaoke lol) and the food was great. pools were clear and clean. The hot tub in the Tower was just clean so WAY too much chemicals. We couldn't take it so didn't stay. There were kids under the age in the hot tub. Can't believe the parent just let them in there. Chemicals were way too powerful for us. Had a problem with garbage disposal and the company had someone out as soon as they could. Very helpful and no problems with our dealings. I would go to the Myrtle Beach Resort again. "

"Family vacation
Myrtle Beach Management was accommodating. The resort has lots to do. The unit is best the stairs/elevators so sometimes there was lots of foot traffic in the hall. The unit is not upgraded, but it served the purpose we needed it for."

"Enjoyed our stay
This was our third time at the resort. We have always enjoyed our stay. The unit was old and outdated but it was clean and comfortable with a great ocean view. The bar and pizza pub were great too. The hallway near the elevators have a very unpleasant smell and waiting for an elevator can be quite an issue at times in the tower."

The condo condition was ok, because the kitchen needs to be updated, the stove was so old and hard to cook with a pan. We noticed that there were some dust in some areas. The ref smelled funny too. Not a good job to clean really well. I would say it is OK."

"Renaissance Tower Elevator Nightmare
Myrtle Beach Resort is a great family destination south end of Myrtle Beach State Park at Surfside Beach. Something for everyone with an abundance of amenities. Great food at the Quarterdeck and Galley. Fridays great fish fry. Have stayed in Buildings A&B with satisfaction. Renaissance has nice condo's also. BUT, beware the elevators are notorious for NOT working. If waiting in line 100dg. heat only a small box fan with children screaming for air is you idea of a my guest. Your wait on Saturdays to check in or check out will be a nightmare guaranteed. Buildings A or B are not a problem....stay there, 5 stars. Personally I'll never stay at RT again for that elevator disaster alone."

"Less than expected
Our family usually spends beach vacations in the FL gulf, but we decided to give Myrtle a beach a try. Maybe I'm spoiled, but this particular condo and the resort itself are less than I expected.
1. First, the positive: the room was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed (except kitchen towels - one dish rag and one dish towel). However, the layout of the condo made it difficult to use the pull out bed. We are a family of six and in order to use the sofa bed we had to move the dining room table.
2. The mattresses need to be replaced.
3. The unit has a note posted about the hot water heater not being big enough for multiple showers and affects that families vary their shower schedules. That is impossible for a family at the beach. When we come in from the beach, everyone wants a shower. I did not have a hot shower all week.
4. The unit has a note on the a/c that it will freeze up if it's turned below 72. During the day, the unfitness cool, but at night, we were hot. Maybe a ceiling fan would help.
5. The refrigerator has a condensation problem that caused the fridge to be wet and icy all week.
6. The tub did not drain.
7. The beach is crazy crowded. Like something you see in a movie: A thousand people on 200 yards of beach. With thousands of jellyfish.
8. To use the resort "amenities" you're supposed to use a paper braclet that you were issued at the beginning of the week. No way am I wearing a paper braclet for a week. The one day we tried to use the pool, it was over crowded and we were confronted by an owner about our brackets.
9. The resort is loud with drunks, fireworks, and karaoke.
10. We made the best of it and had a good time, but this property is showing its age. "

We had a fantastic time! The room was great with an amazing view! Elevators take forever and getting a cart the night before check out was horrible. People must take them in their rooms for the next morning! That is no fault of Myrtle Beach Management. The people at the management company were very nice and made sure I was taken care of!"

When I first got to Myrtle beach I had to go to their separate office location which was only a mile from the resort, I met with Judy, she was the nicest lady ever, thank you Judy! We got to the resort and I went to the room and I really thought it was going to be a horrible view because it was the first room as soon as you get off the elevator I thought to myself are you serious but I opened up the door walked to the living room and looked out the sliding glass door and the view was AMAZING, you could see the beach where you were staying at and you could look all the way up to north Myrtle beach it was an amazing view. I can't thank this company enough for making our family's first vacation look like a dream. Thank you Judy and thank you to your team!"

"A Rainy Vacation
The arm bands need to be passed out at check in. I was told to get them at the gate and the gate told me they don't have them. This is not fair to us when we have to argue that we really are staying in the tower."

"A true Blessing
This was our first vacation to Myrtle Beach. What a blessing staying at MBR was. We were very blessed to have Pat Walsh as the contact person for our reservation. Our Condo was very clean and inviting. We felt right at home adn hated to leave. We were sent to SC on a mission to pray for the covenant that was made on the shores of the Atlantic by the settler's.
God is good!! "
