Escape to Beachside II 4261, affectionately known as “Dolphin Daze.” This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is a true beachfront oasis, offering stunning views of sugar-white sand and emerald waters right from your private balcony. Keep an eye out—you may even spot dolphins playing in the surf just outside your door!

Inside, you’ll find a bright and welcoming space with tile floors throughout and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen featuring stainless-steel appliances, spacious countertops, and a convenient breakfast bar. Small appliances like a blender, toaster, and coffee maker are included, making it easy to whip up anything from morning smoothies to sunset cocktails. A stainless-steel washer and dryer add to the convenience.

"Winter Getaway
Condo was clean, laid out well nice large sofa and TV. With that said the condo needs new master nightstands, paint peeling, the washer dryer unit is very, very old with rust inside dryer. The old style
vent was is in back of dryer, totally locked up with lint very dangerous. I even used the vacuum to help clear it. The mattress was older with a foam topper, which definitely needs replacing. There was much noise on the property, remodeling outside and you could not walk out the back door direct to gulf. Overall the weather was super nice and the condo was good it just needs some love and attention to bed, nightstands and washer/dryer unit. "

"Pros and Cons
PROS: Location, beach amenities, safety, quiet.

CONS: Our specific unit needed more attention to cleaning and repairs- some examples are paint peeling off walls in bathroom, dirty mirrors, weird pungent odor on couch (vomit?), and too much visible mold for our comfort level. Pool was closed the entire week of our stay, and for some reason you're not allowed to use the pool next door. Locking gates and elevator each were out of service at least once during our stay. The amenities in the neighboring building are significantly nicer, so I hope this property is also updating to a similar look.

Overall, yes we would consider this property again, but not in the same unit. "

"Perfect for a couples quick getaway!
My husband and I literally planned a teio last minute and booked the day before our arrival. This condo is in a Good location, with a great view of the ocean! The room was clean. Extra pillows and blankets. Loved that there was a coffee pot AND a Keurig! All necessary items stocked, along with beach chairs and umbrella! Beach access right off the elevator. Very short walk. The name of the building isn't labeled on the outside, so that was our only confusion coming in. Otherwise, our 4 day stay was great here... we would definitely book here again."

"Gulf Coast for the 1st Time
Absolutely beautiful beach and ocean location. Conveniently located near multiple restaurants, convenience stores, and other attractions. The staff and office personnel were stellar and responded to any inquiries we submitted. We did not take advantage of the pool or chair/umbrella rentals as we have our own beach stuff but the amenities were nice. Was a little disappointed with the entertainment system in the rental. Very small TVs with only a dvd player. No smart tv to watch Netflix shows or other streaming services. After a long day at the beach would have loved to unwind watching our favorite shows or movies but resorted to watching on our phone :/. The kitchen, living room, and porch were nice. The bedroom was a little underwhelming. The bed was very noisy and would bang into the wall so any movement would cause loud noise. The interior just seemed very old and outdated. There were only two elevators and only one worked a majority of our stay. Both elevators were extremely hot and with 20’some off floors it would get smelly and extremely hot as you waited for your floor.Overall I would give a 6.5/10. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay and urge others to give it a shot. For the price we paid we will probably opt to try a different option next visit."

Me & my family had such a great time staying here. It’s a great location that’s very safe and has so many different things to do. The room was very clean, the beds were really comfortable, all appliances were new, and we loved everything about it. They were working on painting and some construction on the outside but that didn’t affect out stay at all. We will definitely be returning here. "

"wonderful location
The condo had a fantastic location, with direct view of the gulf, the water, the sand. The unit was in very good condition, extremely clean, the property is very well kept, safe, with all amenities, close to everything, but also self contained. You can see incredible sunsets every day, easy to walk to the beach. Can hear the waves from the balcony. "

"Overall good experience but needs a little TLC
It was an overall positive experience.

The good: place was very clean, check-in and check-out process was very easy, kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and both kitchen and bathroom had been recently updated.

The bad: furniture in both living room and bedroom showed a lot of wear and tear and did not live up to my expectations. Furniture seemed cheap, was stained, etc. Not the end of the world but not great either.

I will probably try to do a little better when we book our next vacation in Destin, but I have also done worse. "

We enjoyed the unit very much. Unfortunately, we had a Gibson employee enter our room without permission and did not even give us a clear reason for doing so. We understand there may be certain times where employees need to access the unit, but given they are capable of contacting us beforehand and chose not to, we were disappointed this happened. "

"Beachside II July Stay
Great property! We love Sandestin, and this was a nice one bedroom unit. Close to the elevator (right out the front door). The only issue we had was that the dryer would work sporadically and made a lot of noise. It might need some attention. Bed was very comfortable. We would recommend this unit, and would rent again."

"After the Quarantine
Sandestin is one of my favorite beach areas to visit and the Beachside II is one of my favorite places to stay. Brittany with was very helpful in helping me find a unit where I wanted for a good rate. Unit 4261 was clean and the rental company had left nice little amenities (such as shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, etc.) for us to use. I loved the little insulated bag with cups to use and to bring home with me. That'll definitely help me to remember who to rent from again next time. One amenity that the unit had that I didn't see mentioned in the description, or see in any of the pictures, was a Keurig coffee maker. That was a nice surprise and I wished I had've brought some of my coffee and tea pods with me.

This unit faced the west side of the beach and while I prefer a unit that faces the east side, this one had a beautiful view. We enjoyed walking next door to the Beach House for a few meals and the restaurants at Baytowne Wharf were only a short drive across the road.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. The bed was fairly comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. With such a beautiful view from the balcony and the beach just steps away, it would've been difficult not to have a good time."
