"Nice Unit
Unit was nice and clean. TV in front bedroom was but user friendly but other 2 were fine. We weren’t in the room long enough for it to be an issue. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed except no cookie sheet for baking our morning biscuits so we used a casserole dish. Our only complaint was with TOPS’L beach rules No complaints with Gibson Rentals that’s why I wouldn’t recommend unit. "

"Nice condo, private beach has issues
Wonderful, spacious, clean condo with a nice view! Staff responded quickly when we had an issue with a drain. The kitchen had all the basics you’d expect, the beds were comfortable. Nicely updated! My only complaint is the Tops’l private beach. This is our 4th year staying at Tops’l and I was really disappointed with how far away and how small the “guest” beach area is now. It’s gotten very small and crowded, meanwhile there are dozens of empty rental chairs. For the weekly price, it seems guests should be able to bring their own items to the beach and actually have a spot to sit. "

Beautiful view from the balcony to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The condo was perfect for a gathering of friends. It was nice being close to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed The Ocean Club with the "early dining" specials. It would have been helpful to have grab bars in the shower area. "

"Good Location!
The condo was very nice except for a couple of issues. We were notified it was ready early, then told there was an AC issue and to hold off, which ended up being a couple of hours after our check in time, but they got it fixed, which was great!

The guest shower did not work well at all, one of our sons had to wash his hair in the tub faucet. We contacted management and they sent someone out and we were told the shower needed to be replaced. The sons made due with the other shower, but that was disappointing. I am sure they took care of it after we left....they were very quick to respond."

We stayed 4 nights in this rental. View from balcony was nice. Location from beach is not a far walk. Provided us with 2 beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys. Access to 2 pools was nice. Beds were comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the lack of essentials. I would expect when renting a property to have enough items such as dish soap, dishwasher detergent, hand towels to last us our trip. We received 1 packet (1 use) of dishwasher soap and 1 packet of laundry soap, had to ask for dish soap. We typically cook our meals so when asked for more detergent were told we'd be charged for "extra". I'm assuming previous renters had the same issue because we found many dirty dishes. Found a frying pan with left over eggs on it so ended up using our 1 packet to clean previous renters dishes."

What a wonderful experience. I'm used to staying directly on the beach when I come to Florida but, due to budget constraints, was unable to do so. I found this cute condo on a private drive and a short walk to the beach. I was astounded at how well decorated it was, how clean it was, how detailed Gibson is with their clients.

The towels in cute displays on the bed, the complementary items like paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, lotions, etc. You remembered every little detail and things that I did not remember. I will definitely use again when I stay in the Destin area. "

"Travis Field Family Vacation, Summit 513
Very good, the condo was very spacious and clean. We liked that the Summit was in a gated community, which provided added security. The only downside was the Summit building was off the beach a little ways which made getting to the beach a little harder. Tops'l provides a shuttle service so we took advantage of that from time to time. We spent a good amount of time at the beach and pool side. The pool amenities and staff were great for the most part. We got some food and drinks from the Blue Dunes Grille, which was good, but I did wait an extended amount for service one day. The staff had a DJ and several kids activities planned which provided entertainment. Overall, I would totally recommend it to friends and family, however next time I would stay on the beach, probably Tides building."
