"Best Location on the Beach
My family and I (8 adults, 4 kids) enjoyed having access to both condos. Both were well maintained with everything you need for a wonderful stay, even beach chairs and umbrellas. The beach and pool view from the condo was amazing; just as pictured. The facility was great as well. Well maintained and quiet. We absolutely loved our time here and look forward to returning!"

"Beautiful Place, but Property Manager needs to do better
Tides 204-205 Lockout is beautiful. Only issues with the Condos were - 204 - Garbage Disposal did not work and 205 had no hot water in the kitchen. Other than that, the Condos were amazing. As far as the property manager, she needs some work. We were not even there 24 hours and her and the security guard came to our door to accuse my grandson of throwing stuff off of the balcony for 3 days. We had not even been there for 24 hours, so that was not possible. When I said it, she says well we have video of a little hand throwing stuff. I was very upset and felt like she should have checked our check-in time before coming accuse us of something we weren't even there to be able to do. Property is beautiful, beach access was amazing. All in all, it was a great experience other than the property manager. "

"A Gathering
Sisters and their families enjoyed sun and fun filled days at beach and pool. Activities like parasailing, snorkeling and dolphin rides filled the days too! The resort was so well maintained and the staff were always friendly. It was great to know the facility was for guests only. Did I mention the on sight activities for the kids! All in all we look forward to returning to the sugar sand beaches of TopSail !"

My family of 8 adults and 2 children had a great time at Tides 204-205 Lockout. The setup was perfect for everyone and the resort amenities were good. Although we did not have the perfect weather for our week long stay, we were still able to enjoy the beach and pool area and the location was good for enjoying local restaurants."

"204-205 Tide Look out rooms
We loved the views and the place was very clean! Pools could have been a little warmer and were not the cleanest. Location was good! Not many places to walk to but we loved to overlook the ocean:). Customer service was all really good through the Gibson rental, they got us and early rental and were really good about answering questions prior to our arrival. "

"Fabulous!
The second floor and entered view over the pools and beach. Very nice staff and clean. My son says it’s the most fabulous beach and stay EVER! When the disposer stopped working someone was there to fix within one hour. "

"Knox trip
All was good but internet connection. I placed a service call on the morning after we got there and no one ever came to fix the modem. We had to use hot spots from our phone all week. That was very inconvenient."

Nice and spacious condo. Furniture needs to be updated. We were told that the complex was going to be doing construction 3 days of our stay, but it was actually 5 days of loud construction noises. Pool bar and grill was great considering there really isn’t any where else to eat along the beach."

"Tides at Miramar Beach in Fl.
Great view and nice room and gear view with the beaches. They did put us right above construction so for a day and a half you could not have a conversation without pausing for the hammer drilling and chiseling breaking up floor tiles. I do not know why they would put us above that. Some mold in shower and not dusted in the bedrooms. Then they charge you for cleanup and ask you to strip beds and start dishwasher. I did comply but isn’t that what you pay cleanup fees for??

We did like the room and view. The beaches were nice and what owners that were there didn’t understand ans were apologetic for our situation.

I think Gibson owes me some form of comping for their failure.

I had rented 2 rooms that joined. One had a bad dryer and the other a noisy washer. "

"Overall, beautiful place to stay.
Everything was good except for some things. When we arrived up to the gate,we weren't even on the list as arrivals. I had to show the guy my reservation on my phone. Then, the codes they sent me through the phone only worked on one room. Since we ad arrived after office hours, I had to call an emergency number do get a code to open the door. The info on the portal was incorrect as far as connecting to the wifi. We had to figure it out for ourselves. Two days before our leaving,our code to the door did not work anymore so we had to call the office again to get a new number. Good thing I had my phone or else I would have been locked out. Other than all that, it was a great place to stay. "

"Condo is Nice- Worst vacation EVER
We were trapped in the condo for four straight days. With a three-year-old and a one-year-old. And less toys that we have at home. The condo is smaller than our house and this created some challenges as we cannot go to the beach except for one day. To top it all off everybody got super sick on there. We all got Covid. It was terrible this is definitely not the way I expect to spend my vacation especially after working so hard for year and a half to take a vacation."

"July 2021 - Tides Lockout 204 & 205
We had a great first trip to Miramar Beach and using . We were very impressed with both Tides units as they were very clean and spacious for our large guests. The pool and amenities are impressive. We enjoyed many dinners at the pool bar. The only complaints we had were there was no vacuum cleaner in either unit. Strings from shorts would were continually getting caught in the dryer and you had to rip them out. And lastly, the doors did not stay locked if you turned the handles. It would be nice if there was a chain feature or a second deadbolt for child safety. Very minor fixes in my opinion that will not detour us away the next time we visit Miramar. Thank you GBR!"

"Lookout review
The 204 205 lockout was ideal in many ways for our growing family. We loved the pool area and frequently used the baby pool. The beds were very comfortable. The lack of a kitchen pantry in 205 was annoying as well as the coffee table without a glass top. The condos were minimally stocked. We felt that for the price the beach chairs and umbrella setup should have been included. Our pool code did not work on all of the gates. The second bedroom water pressure was terrible. Only one of the outside grills was working."

"Perfect for a family
We rented both units and it worked better than I thought. 2 kitchens and 2 dens give you the freedom to do something different while still being in the same space. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms work great with no inconvenience. The location on the gulf is close to everything while being the last resort on the beach. You just dont feel crowded and that is rare in destin."

"Nice place, beach deal stinks
Overall we enjoyed the property, nothing elaborate but exactly what we needed. The lockout deal is very nice as we had babies in our party so we put the families with babies over there as it made it easier for the naps and such. Our only issue is the beach and how they have it set up. Basically Tides has contracted with a company to sale you chairs for the day or if you have your own stuff you have to go approximately 250 yards to a small area on the left or stay behind they myriad of chairs. When you have children in tow and the sand is blazing hot this is a true pain. Because of this I wouldn't stay here again although we loved the condo and the pools and having the bar area and restaurant right there was also very nice."

"Great Getaway!
We stayed at Tides 204-205 for a quick getaway. We had a great time. The property is as described. There was plenty of room for everyone. Views were beautiful and access to beach and pool were convenient. Suggestions- Rent umbrella/ chair upon arrival so you are ready to go the next morning and don't have to wait in line. Unit needs a new coffee maker! :) was great!!!"

"Dissapointed
Hi there,
I was pretty disappointed with the unit we got. It was very dirty. We found hair balls on the shower walls, hair on the kitchen plates and pots. Dirt on the balcony floor (black dirt, not sand). We also found clipped nails on the carpet, my baby daughter almost ate one off the floor. We have stayed there last year also but it was a lot cleaner than now. We have also paid a lot more this year for the same unit but I did not expect to find it in this condition. "

"Great for a Large Group
Units 204 and 205 housed a group of 14 women and children for us on a family trip. While we originally wanted a house on the beach, this setup proved to be just what we needed. We had plenty of space, and lots of amenities. These units were steps from the elevator and also had a great view of the ocean and pool. The on-site grill, bar, and pools were a great option for staying on the property. Off of the property, we were surrounded by close restaurants and shopping."

"Beautiful Days
My family loved, loved the two units that are connected at Tides in the Tops’l Resort. We have stayed in many different places along the beach but this was perfect for our family. It gave everyone a little privacy but also allowed us to stay together easily with grandkids."

"Perfect for Larger Family
From easy check-in to breezy check-out, we couldn't have chosen a better spot for our family vacation. With 6 kids and 5 adults, this lockout unit offered everything we needed. Second floor was perfect for avoiding those long waits at elevator. Beds were comfy, kitchens well appointed, and everyone had plenty of room! Close to outlets, good restaurants, and markets. We're already planning next year's vacation!"

"Relaxing Vacation
The rental was exacltly what we wanted for our vacation, with the number of guests we had for this visit. The condo was spacious and clean, with the beach in very close proximity to our unit. We rented Tides 204 and 205. Had four bathrooms and had a problem with EVERY toilet backing up. Always after hours and we had to use the plungers to fix. The backup flooded the floor and ruined some clothes. Disappointing experience. "

"Beautiful view
Using the two units as a 10 person sleeper proved a huge mistake for us. Two kitchens made things confusing as to where pantry items were located. Also, no large gathering area so we had to divide up to eat meals. Also, slow response from staff to respond to leaking toilet constantly running in unit 206. Also. Ac did not work for 2 days. "

Great experience staying at the Tides Lockout property. Everything ran very smoothly from check-in to check-out. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and in a great location. was also great to work with- questions were always answered in a timely manner- and the app you use to check-in was great!
