"Right on the beach
Everything was clean and orderly. There was a smell that was not very pleasant when you walked in, I especially noticed it around the dinning room table and the 2nd bedroom. "

"Great beachfront location in old and tired building
Great location with ocean views. Unit looks nicer in pictures, but still was okay. Excessive amount of light switches that really should be labeled as the living room TV only worked when one of the kitchen light switches was turned on. Floors throughout need a deep cleaning, as do the bathrooms and kitchen areas. Easy check-in and check-out process. Unable to get discounted beach chairs and umbrella rental through Sandestin, so be warned. Building only has 2 elevators for the 20 floors, so elevator wait times were high. Very close to numerous dining, grocery, and shopping options. We enjoyed our stay, but will not be back."

"Beautiful Beach property
We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the beach. The condo is a perfect place to stay and very roomy. The view is amazing. I am very concerned about the Mold in the condo. For most that are sensitive to mold, just opening the front door its very obvious of the issue. We all would wake with slight headaches and stuffy noses. "

Mostly very good. Living room furniture uncomfortable. Vanity in guest bathroom needs improvement. Price quite q bit higher than similar units our friends rented from other rental companies. Bathtub very difficult to get to facet to turn on and tub did not appear clean. Refrigerator making knocking noise. Reported but owner did not desire to repair or replace. "

"Decent
Nice condo just dirty. Plates were dirty. The counters and end table dirty. The electrical outlet for tv didn’t work until I realized a switch by the front door controlled it. The bathtub was filthy. If they fire the cleaning crew and actually scrub it down and keep it clean it’s a nice place. I just was turned off by the filth. "

"Nice but not ideal for the money
Beachside II 4367 was a decent condo. Would I stay there again, probably not. The location was not ideal due to there was nothing close. You either had to drive or wait for the Tram. I specifically wanted/stated/asked for a condo where I could walk to shops or walk up to a quick in and out grocery store but I ended up having to drive to the Publix 4 times which by the end of the trip cost me about $350. Also there was construction taking place which was not disclosed at the time of booking. I had no curtain on the living room window. It was the 17th floor but other condos could clearly see in your windows. Also the bathroom windows were not tinted and had no shades so if anyone had binoculars at the condo over, they could clearly see you taking a shower. Keypads were used at every entrance and so you had to remember the codes on top of managing kids which is enough stress so trying to remember the code on top of trying to remember does the pound come before or after the number. It was confusing because you had to use a code to the beach gate but the beach was very public so why the code at the beach gate? You could rent chairs but the condo allows anyone to fully set up a tent on the front row in front of those nice expensive beach chairs you rented and it is allowed to set up right in the walking path to the beach so easy access to beach was nearly impossible and very much false advertisement. "Easy access beach" I think not. The only thing that made this trip okay was the customer service. Even though they could not fix what I had concerns about they were so kind and understanding and felt they really did care there was drilling above my condo. "

"4367 vacation review
We've stayed at Sandestin many times and the overall trip did not disappoint. The weather was great and Sandestin II seemed to be in great shape. Overall the property was accommodating with a nice view and comfortable amenities and the bathrooms were nice and functioned well. The property was in need of some maintenance however: front door needs to be refitted, the fridge makes some awful, loud noises, the TV set-up and use was awful and often crashed needing restarting and main menu set up, the pull out couch didn't close right, some moulding pieces are cracked or misaligned. But of these things the TV, Fridge and front door were the only things to cause us some recurring frustration. Otherwise a good stay. Not sure if I'd be in a hurry to stay in this particular unit again, but if these items were fixed, we would."

There are many choices to choose from when staying at Destin. I'm thrilled we decided to stay in this specific condo. We felt at home. Everything you need is provided. Great beds, shower pressure, washer & dryer, tile floors throughout, A/C worked great, and the view is spectacular. We will return! Bring extra trash bags & detergent and enjoy your home away from home!"

"Beautiful location and a nice condo.
Our rental experience got off to a rough start with both main elevators being down. One elevator never did come back online. It made for long waits EVERY trip up and down to the beach, car, etc. The condo was nice but it was also very confusing to know what activities we could use, where the tram went, etc. The condo had wonderful views of the beach. The master bath toilet ran all the time which was annoying. Directions for beach service would have been a nice touch as it was confusing."

"Great location but accommodations poorly maintained
Things were good until we lost power for about a day due to truck hitting transformer, causing loss of power and running water for a day; backup generator did not work; had to climb stairs to 17th floor with no emergency lighting; no elevator service for a day. Once power restored, one elevator never worked, leaving one main elevator and one service elevator. No elevators worked the last night and part of the next morning until Service elevator came back but was too crowded and had to carry luggage down stairs. Not good on 17th floor and horrible for handicapped and elderly. Other issues: Rarely had lighting in elevators, coffee maker didn't work, roach in bathroom, recurring knocking sound coming from refrigerator (ice maker?, A/C would not properly cool master bedroom, handle broken last part of the week on beach walk shower, pool closed one day. When I reported to Gibson office that all 3 elevators were broken, they told me that IF they saw a maintenance person, they would let them know. I reported it around lunchtime, and got a text around 8 P.M. saying it was just reported. I have stayed at many Sandestin condos and hotels and have had great service and maintenance. Beachside II is in a great location, but poorly maintained and managed and not set up to handle any maintenance issues. I was told they don't start work until 9 so any help would have to be after that. You can't have a high-rise condo and put off repairing elevators until the next day. I would not stay at this place again."

First I want to say that the views were spectacular! We were a little disappointed in the condo though. It needs some updating. The furniture was not the nicest and the couch was very uncomfortable. The master bed was soooooo comfy. I could have stayed in it all day. The twin beds in the second bedroom were not ideal. They needed a little TLC. Not the most comfortable. "

"Not for us
The unit is very outdated and feels a bit grimy. We had issues with roaches and the freezer made a very loud noise that would wake us up at night.

"Great view condo in San Destin
Very enjoyable, even though there was a cold spell in the area for the first 3 days. I was there to look at vacation rental properties, and my oldest daughter and her husband joined me for the first 5 days of my stay. Condo is very livable, could easily accomoodate 6 people, but was especially comfortable for the 3 of us. Loved the balcony overlooking the beach. "

"Vacay Boxes All Checked!
We stayed in Beachside II #4367 on the 17th floor. This unit was updated, clean, 2 great baths and provided magnificent views from the balconies (we actually made a soft pallet and slept out on the balcony with a bottle of wine and God providing the natural fan and the ocean's tunes - don't tell anyone!). Check-in and check-out was one of the easiest and flawless experiences thanks to Tara's much appreciated assistance with . She even took the time to contact me to let me know the condo was ready to check-in a couple of hours early. Great service! We took the tram to enjoy Baytowne a couple times with ease. All of our needs and accommodations were easily provided for and we look forward to coming back to this property and unit.
Pertaining to this unit, my only comments, which are inconsequential, would be that if you want softer toilet paper, BYOP. Also, this unit has a guest room with 2 small single beds and has a sleep sofa in the great room. So, I wouldn't recommend this condo for more than one couple unless one of the couples doesn't mind sleeping in a single bed. Great for a family or for one couple!"

"Beautiful views
The unit was very beautiful and up to date, and well equipped with everything we needed, even umbrella and chairs for the beach. The views from the living and master bedroom were spectacular. The furnishings we newer and comfortable.
The amenities were wonderful, our family took advantage of the free golf and horseback riding, it would have been exceptionally nice if those were for two rather than one.
The staff was helpful when we had questions. We we will definitely stay again.

Everything was beautiful! The view was breathtaking! It was everything we thought it would be and more! We had a patio door with a broken lock and they sent someone right away to fix it while we were out sunning. One piece of advice; the toilet in the master bath (with the ocean view) is butted between the shower and the counter. A heavy set person or handicapped person might have trouble using it because of the restricted space. But overall everything was wonderful!! "

"Mother Daughter Trip
This condo was wonderful. The views were amazing. From the Master Bedroom and living room we could see and hear the gulf due to the walls of Windows and Doors and the spacious balcony. The kitchen window, master bath window, and guest bedroom all had excellent views of the resort, the bay, and the boats on the bay. The unit was updated, clean, and fully furnished. The sleeper sofa was not very comfortable, but I've never slept on one that was. We will stay here again. "

"Beautiful View with Two Balconies
The furnishings in the condo were very beautiful and unique. The couch was comfortable, the king bed was comfortable. The unit was clean. The only suggestion to the owner would be to replace the comforter on the king bed with a lighter weight bedspread/quilt. It is the warmest room in the unit (due to the wall of windows) and a comforter is too heavy in a warmer climate. "

"Construction was disappointing
The unit was decorated very nicely, but we were not informed of the construction that was on going. The beach was incredible, but to have workers looking in your window and 7:30am was very disturbing. No one in the office offered to move us or give us a partial refund."

"Nice Place
Great place! Great location! Very nice! The one down side was that they were painting and doing repairs right outside both bathroom windows. Multiple times showering and/or using the toilet had to be delayed in order for someone not to be looking directly at you Or they would show up mid way through! A couple times we couldn't wait so had to stuff pillows to cover window. Other than that we loved it."

"stay was ok, somewhat disappointed in the condo condition
This condo building was undergoing renovation during our stay, which was somewhat loud and inconvenient. At times there were work-men outside of our window looking in. The unit really needs new furniture especially the living room area. The master bedroom had a smell to it. The balcony could use new furniture, as well. The bed was comfortable and the view was great. For the price, we were disappointed in the condo overall. We will not consider renting this unit in the future."

"Great Location, but construction hampered our visit.
The unit was nice, but we were told that there was construction on the building and should not interfere with our condo and balcony area. Not true. the noise from the construction started early in the morning and the dust from the work on the outside, made it impossible to enjoy the balcony and the pool. If we had known this, we would have not stayed at this property."

"Elevator Breakdown!
All good EXCEPT the 2 of the 3 elevators were often down and getting up and down from the condo was often VERY time consuming. This wasted A LOT of "vacation" time and caused everyone unneeded stress. "
