We had a wonderful mini vacation. This unit was perfect for the four of us. The views were phenomenal. We would like to recommend larger TV’s in the bedrooms and more trash baskets. Also the ability to stream movies, etc on the TV’s. We took our Roku which was a good idea.

"Memorial Weekend 2024
Enjoyed our stay over the holiday. The three king beds were a plus. There was so much to do that we didn’t have to leave the resort. Since it was Memorial Day weekend and the crowds were crazy we chose to spend our days by the pool which was close to the condo. The best part of our stay was the patio! We started & ended our days there. The breeze off the bay and the sound of the water will take away your stress."

"Bayfront disappointment
Rented property for a month based on quality of view and privacy. Unfortunately, condo was under renovation/construction, with many invasions of privacy (persons frequently on the upstairs balcony and enclosed porch; persons on ladders at window level). Views were blocked by workers and windows/porcg were taped and covered - blocking the view. Grounds were frequently covered in construction debris and unkempt. Management did not come to inspect and did not address concerns. Was never notified when cinstruction would be occurring, despite many requests."

"Absolute Nightmare
We woke up our first morning in the property to a construction crew climbing onto our bedroom balcony. A construction crew was working on the roof, which might have been bearable had it only caused noise, but the issue was a privacy and safety concern because they were accessing the bedroom balcony and throwing debris (nails, shingles, etc) onto the balcony and around all the exits, making it dangerous to stay and dangerous to leave. All exits were littered with nails, shingles, and other debris to the extent you could not avoid it while exiting. A nail went through my shoe while exiting which mercifully did not cause injury, but easily might have. We could not even use the bathroom due to it having a window through which the crew could see. refused all responsibility for the condition of the property, claiming they had warned us of possible roof construction via a mass email (that went to our SPAM folder) and that that should have been sufficient notice. No text. No call. They claimed the email was all they were legally obligated to provide. We tried for three hours to get them to resolve the issue, to no avail. They wanted more money to relocate us and they refused to refund us. It was too dangerous to remain in the property due to the privacy and safety concerns, so we packed all our belongings and left that same morning. We have taken up the issue with who, thanks to the videos and photos we sent of the conditions, agrees we qualify for a full refund, which has yet to provide. At the time I am writing this review, we have not received a single penny back. This is the most unprofessional and unethical company I have ever had the misfortune to work with."

The sunrise hits your face from the primary bed and you soak in the sunset from the primary balcony. From the balcony we saw stingrays, dolphins, crabs and various birds. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again! "

Gibson is a great rental agency to go through. We have used them twice and each time we have no complaints. The app they use is very easy. The condo unit on north shore in the sandestin property really does need to be updated. The furniture, flooring and decor definitely need to be updated. The view is stunning and the beds were really comfy. Unit could’ve been cleaned better. Very nice resort with tons of activities to choose from. Great family vacation. "

Beautiful sunsets from a prime location within Sandestin! Easy access to all that Sandestin (and Destin, really) has to offer. Very comfortable and spacious accommodations for our group of 6. "A Fall Beach Trip to Sandestin
We had a great trip to Sandestin. The weather and the beach were perfect!

Here are the pros and cons of the condo.
The Pros:
- the condo is in a beautiful location on the bay. We enjoyed fishing right outside of the condo and we loved watching the pelicans do their own fishing.

-Gibson runs a great operation. It is perfect combination of friendly staff and an excellent use of technology.

Cons:

-the carpet in the condo was dirty. It is a beautiful condo but it was hard to see past the dirty carpet. It put a question mark over the cleanliness of the entire condo.

-the sofa was broken down and was basically unusable.

-the condo is two story but it only has one HVAC unit which made it difficult to keep it comfortable downstairs and upstairs."

"Worse Vacation to Date-Very Disappointed with Gibson Rental
We traveled over 15 hours from VA to FLA expecting to experience an enjoyable vacation by meeting up with family that traveled from TX. Immediately upon discovering reported the screened in porch was ripped & detached at the bottom causing a big open for someone to fall through, screen door was also ripped, the refrig ice maker did not work, the beautiful stainless steel microwave did not work, to name a few. Gibson staff solutions were, no repair to screen porch or door, send over 2 Tupperware bowls of ice, ad deliver the old small white microwave that should have thrown out as trash long ago. Last but not least, my digital camera with over 1400 family pictures was removed from a backpack I left in the room and never returned. I was told the only
person(s)that went in the property after we departed was the contract cleaning people who gave the back to GBR, without the camera and SD card with family pictures. Not the enjoyable experience my family and I had planned for this vacation. "

This is our 3rd year as snowbirds in 977. We are here for 5 months and love the location, feels like we are in a houseboat being so close to the water. The staff at Gibson in awesome, always concerned that all is OK and we are enjoying our experience. Everything is great except the carpets and tile REALLY need a deep clean, too bad as 977 is truly a great unit, walk to Links golf, restaurants and fitness center."
