"Family Trip
We vacationed with our grown children and 2 grandkids. There were 7 of us all together and we had plenty of space. We all slept comfortably. We loved the balcony! The best part was walking out of the building right to the beach. I would highly recommend! "

"SanDestin 4333 Beachside II
Enjoyed a fabulous week staying at 4333 Beachside II in SanDestin. Particularly enjoyed the balcony view with openings on two sides. We stay in SanDestin every year due to the beautiful beach, property and proximity to some of our favorite restaurants. Gibson Vacation rentals is very easy to work with, especially the immediate responses to any questions we might have. Definitely recommend! "

"It served a purpose
Great location and overall property. Good size unit with great views but it's time for some substantial updates. Need to upgrade the kitchen, baster bath, remove carpet, improve furniture, drapes and replace small appliances. Kitchenware wasn't the best but enough to get by. Main TV was nice but super difficult to get to regular cable service, instructions were lacking. The grounds and property were nice, clean, and somewhat updated. "

"Family Girls Reset
Great location with even better views. Easy access to the beach and easy access to the shuttle that takes you to the Village. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Could use some cosmetic updates, but nothing that would deter us from coming again."

"Beach Lovers
Our stay was great! The view was great! The condo was clean and the staff was very helpful! I would suggest replacing the rug in the living room and the chairs in the living room! The master bathroom toilet needs repair, it keeps running after you flush unless you lift the handle each time you use it. Overall we had a great time!"

"Great View!
This was our 3rd condo to rent in this building. We loved the view from the 13th floor and the private balcony. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. However, this condo could use some updating especially for the price we paid. The beach umbrella offered little to no shade, one beach chair is worn out and the other one broke - we happened to find a chair someone was leaving behind and replaced it. Bring your own blow dryer because the one in the condo barely works. "

"Beach Condo
The view was fantastic on this unit. We had a few complaints however- the elevators on this building kept breaking almost the entire week were there and this unit was fairly high up. Also, the cleaning on this unit was not great. When we checked in, there was dripped coffee all down the cabinets (not from us) that no one bothered cleaning up. It could have just been cleaner."

"Great views
Great place to stay with beautiful views!
Our only negative is that the unit did not have much beach equipment. We flew into Florida and did not drive, so we could not bring our chairs and umbrella that we use on the beach. The unit did come with 3 beach chairs and 1 umbrella, but they were not very nice. You have the option to rent chairs and umbrellas from the hut on the beach but that was an additional charge $$$ (not included with the unit)."

I love love BEACHSIDE 2,,,THIS unit was very nice.. Every night I slept with the balcony door open. BEST SLEEP EVER.. This unit is IDEAL if you have Another couple ..ROOMS ON OPPOSITE SIDES. NO COMPLAINTS V whatso ever.. Kitchen was well equipped."

"Overall great trip!
Overall, we enjoyed this condo. We love the Sandestin property, beach and amenities. We’ve stayed there year after year and we always have a wonderful time. As for this specific property, the bunk beds are awesome, my daughter loved them!
It is time for some upgrades in this condo, though. The coffee pot needs to be replaced (there is sand/dust built up inside of it if you look inside, so I had to go buy coffee every day). It is time to update the furniture, guest bathroom and the decor, as well, but we were still comfortable overall. We loved the pool, but there was no heater which was a little too cold for the fall weather. Baytown wharf has grown and is amazing!
At the end of the day, it was a great experience due to an awesome resort and great staff!"

"Gibson Beach Rental
Overall it was a nice stay, but I was disappointed with no response to several issues. There was sand on the floor, one bed had dirty sheets,, and the pots and pans under the sink still had food in them. When I told the person st the front dwskshe gave a generic, im sorry and I'll have house keeping contact you. And the elevators stopped working. We were on the 13th floor. "

"Great location, older facility.
This wasn't our best beach stay. We have visited Destin approx. 20 times over the past 10 years. When we arrived this unit had a strong cat/rodent urine smell from the kitchen area. This smell faded over time with candles etc. The drain in the master bathroom is very slow. Furniture and layout were good.
The last night we stayed there the entire condo lost power around 9:00pm. We slept through the night and woke still without power. My family of 6 had to carry all of our suitcases and coolers etc down 13 floors of unlit stairs to load the vehicle. The response by the management company was not adequate. Several elderly guests were sobbing in the parking structure, fearful of climbing back up the stairs only to feel stuck again. We assisted a couple of them with their belongings to help them pack their vehicles to leave. "

"Rental is Great! Location Good! Area Horrible!
This place is Nice, Clean, Awesome Balconies. I was Super disappointed that you can not see a SUNrise or a SUNset from this rental, as one of the reviews talked about the beautiful sky... ok so it was alright but I’ve seen prettier sunsets from my own backyard... def can’t see anything from the balconies except for the water and all the umbrella rentals they line the beach with every morning :(... I will not be staying in Destin ever again! We take our grandkids every summer to Florida and have stayed in Clearwater, and Sarasota and decided this year to try Destin. Well this place is at the opposite end of HWY 98 where all the touristy things to do are. Anytime you get out to go eat or parasail or anything be prepared for TRAFFIC, LOTS of traffic! It takes approx an HOUR to go 10 miles! Yes you read that right! So every time we went down to parasail or do a dolphin tour it was a 2 Hour round trip! I live in Dallas, Texas and when I vacation I don’t want to feel like I’m on Central Expressway in rush hour bumper to bumper traffic! I spoke with some of the locals and the traffic is like this all the time except for a few select months that they consider off season.
We stayed here a week and one day after fighting traffic all day and crowds we came in and headed straight to the pool as everyone had their swimsuits on. Well I guess an employee saw us come in and decided we came in off the street I guess.. bug girl came running after us and chased us into the swimming pool area and started to pissilly ream us about not having our swim bands. Dear Lord! It’s a gated community! All and all of you only want to sit on the beach every day and have a nice place to stay then this rental is DEF for you! They have a well stocked Kitchen & it is clean! "

"13th floor of bad luck
I'll take the blame for not looking closely enough at the pictures of this unit. But it appears much older in person than the pictures. Short of the furniture & fridge/dishwasher I'm pretty sure nothing has been updated since 1985. With older stuff the plumbing was an issue. Both showers the first 24 hours wouldn't drain. Communicated that to Gibson management. They sent someone out the next day. Did that person wear a mask, no. You'd expect for as much as the unit charged that they'd check & keep the plumbing in working order before a guest checks in. So not a good start. Then most every morning we got woke up as early as 7am from construction going on in another unit (we think above us). Gibson's response was that they are all individually owned & thus they can't know what other units are doing? But when 90%+ are rentals you'd think all management companies would get rules about what time construction can start. Getting woke up so crazy early on vacation was less than relaxing. Gibson gave a small rebate for the noise, but nothing compared to what we paid. I didn't even ask for any money. I asked to get a late checkout on our last day hoping that no construction would happen on a Saturday & we could get some rest before heading home. But like all rentals in the area they are hard core about 10am checkout so they can get units cleaned by 4pm. This was our 7th trip there. Cleaning crews don't get to EACH unit at 10am. When a guest had been woken up early on vacation & asks for 1 time to get maybe 2 hours (still leaving 4 hours to clean) to rest & you can't direct your cleaning crews to not do that unit first, then what service so you really bring?
The location was great! Aside from that this was an out dated unit with plumbing & construction noise issues that the management company wasn't helpful about. Plus the linens (towels & comforter) were cheap.
Next time Hilton or individual owned/managed units that understand customer service better."

"Clean- Could use some updates
We had a great time - the ocean front view was amazing and the layout of the rental is perfect with the bedrooms separated. The master bedroom has a huge, separate balcony. The finishings could use some updates, but overall a very nice condo."

"Highly recommend for a great beach vacation!
We had an amazing stay in Beachside II 4333! The condo was spacious and the 2 balconies gave us great views! The kitchen had everything we needed (although the toaster was ancient. Not a big deal - we were able to toast pop tarts! But not great if you like your morning toast each day!). The beds and living room furniture were comfortable and clean. The decor was really nice - definitely felt like someone's vacation home! The only caution I have is the shower in the master bathroom. It is not a walk-in shower, and in fact has a pretty large side to step over to get into the shower. We did not have a problem. But I would not recommend for my elderly parents or anyone else with mobility issues. Again - not a big deal for most; but something that might matter to some people. The resort itself was fantastic and the people at Gibson were awesome to work with. We hope to be back next summer! "

"Room was good, social distancing abhorrent
Room was as described and had a nice view. AC problem was dealt with quickly, no issues there. was responsive. There 4 days but Sandestin resort really did nothing to promote social distancing. Beach chairs were too close and people who brought their own would put theirs would get even closer. Only stayed on beach for part of ONE day because of that. Went for one walk along the beach another day. Sandestin Resorts failure to promote social distancing made this trip a $1600 waste of time. I wish i could give 5 stars across the board and Sandestin Resort NO STARS. During this pandemic, we simply will not stay here again."

"Great location, great place to stay
This place was great in our opinion. The location, right on the beach was outstanding. The beach was very clean, likely the best white sand beach I have ever been on. The room was clean and very nice overall. If I had any recommendations for the Owner, it would be to upgrade the TV's to Smart TV's to allow guests to use subscription based services such as Netflix to watch movies if they desired. As far as the overall facility, it was unfortunate that the pool was closed most of the time due to all the construction happening on the exterior facade. Regardless, overall experience was great. Definitely recommend this place and would absolutely go back in the future. Also like being at this end of town, the east end, versus the west end, though we did drive west every night for dinner."

We had a wonderful time! The condo was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. The location was perfect! Just a short elevator ride and a few steps to be on the beach. The pool was also great, being walking distance to a fun, casual restaurant on the beach was an added bonus! My family and I had a great time and hope to be back soon! "

"Beach Vacation
Overall good experience, great location, comfortable, clean property very well maintained, responsive and very friendly staff.
A few things could be better for people who are flying vs, coming by car.
Typical industry standard check out time is 11am. Your check out time as 10am is too early for people who has later flghts. In our case a cleaning staff knocked at 9:15am and was sitting next to the entrance door until we left. Was annoying. Also, there are no beach towels. Once again, it does not matter for people coming by car, but packing beach towels in a small carry-on is not a good option, especially we were not notify that beach towels are not available. Would be nice to know it in advance, and especially would be very helpful if office has beach towels per request for guests not coming by car."

"4th of July Vacation
Great rental company to work with. Nice place to stay with 2 balconies (one in TV room and one in master BR). This condo unit also provided 5 chairs and an umbrella for their guests to use, which saved on renting chairs. The great thing about this complex, that I would have never thought about, was the see thru plexi glass instead of rails on the balcony. You can sit on the balcony and see straight thru without any obstruction. Bigger plus than you realize. Great Sunrise views and the firework display on the beach was directly next door and we stayed on the balcony and watched the entire show!!!
The grounds were safe and plenty to walk around and see. "

One of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in. Great views, nice deck which faced east and made the afternoons very comfortable. Furnishings were first rate. One minor issue was washing machine filled with water very slowly but that was not a big deal. The Gibson personnel onsite helped me with an important document that i received via email while there. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it. "

"June Family Vacation
Overall the condo was very nice and as expected. The exceptions and complaints are that on our first full day the power (bright sunny day) was out in the entire building for approximately 5hrs. We had just purchased a refrigerator full of groceries that were now getting warm. Secondly, the pool was shut down for three of our five day stay. Someone apparently broke a bottle in the pool and it had to be drained. Bad luck for us but I expect the management to refund us at least a day of the rent due to these bad conditions. I talked with someone in the office and they said the building manager would be contacting us but that never happened. Bad service. If the idea is to get repeat customers then I expect something in return."

The condo was very nice and completely met our needs. My only complaint is about the building and resort in general....there is no recycling available-- that seems terrible that a large building like this would not recycle. But, otherwise, the condo was perfect and we have always loved the resort and beaches in Sandestin!"

"Lovely accomodations
My husband and another couple spent the week here. We found the accommodations to be even nicer than the pictures. The condo was ready to go when we arrived. Very clean and comfortable. We had no issues and would stay again in a heart beat. Gipson Rentals made the entire transaction incredibly easy for both me and my guests. I was impressed!"

We had a great time - the apartment was larger and more spacious than the pictures made it seem. Easy access and great views. Access was easy and access to shopping and restaurants was close by as well. I would definitely recommend this unit and I will book it again in the future if the opportunity arises."

"Wonderful Experience
The condo unit was immaculate and contained essential items needed for cooking and living. We appreciated being somewhat out of the very busy parts of Destin but close to grocery and outlet shopping. The pool and beach accesses were great. Seeing fireworks from our balcony, watching beach weddings, parasailing etc. were especially delightful. Travel from northern states through Alabama and Florida was AWFUL.....going 100 miles in three hours time hinders our desire to return even though once in Destin we had a great time."
