Memories are made here! | Crimson 302 boasts the best Gulf view in the complex! It's a corner unit located on the 3rd floor where you will be sure to enjoy the best sunsets on the beach. Relax on your balcony after a day at the hot tub, pool or beach. Free Wifi Crimson is a Smoke Free property including all private balconies and common areas. You will be required to sign a rental agreement with (Property Management) prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Unit Features: The kitchen is remodeled with solid wood cabinets and granite countertops. Enjoy your family and friends while entertaining around a 5x9 island, never missing a view of the beach. The island is equipped with a stainless steel sink farm sink w/disposal and dishwasher while the kitchen has stainless steel refrigerator, stove and microwave. Enjoy fully stocked kitchen including all small appliances and cookware you will need. The living room is decorated with unique art, modern lighting fixtures, designer furniture, a large screen plasma TV and plenty of seating for family gatherings. Relax on the large, oceanfront patio with dining and chase lounge chairs.

Bed/Bath: The Master bedroom features a king size bed and fully renovated master bath with over-sized walk-in shower, very large vanity with two sinks and large walk-in closet. You will enjoy the view of the ocean from your master bedroom that opens to your large patio. The first guest bedroom provides a 2 twin beds, plenty of dresser drawer space and a large walk-in closet. The second guest bedroom provides one queen bed with dresser and closet. The beautiful guest bathroom is fully renovated and is centrally located, providing a tub/shower and beautiful vanity with storage. This unit comes complete with an in-suite laundry room with washer and dryer, iron, ironing board and several extra pillows and blankets. Crimson 302 is a Non-Smoking unit. Great pride has gone into each detail of this unit. We hope you enjoy this beach front oasis for years to come.

As a (Property Management) managed unit, you will have access to onsite hot tub, heated pool, bbq grills and this property will be fully furnished with all kitchen utensils, linen for all beds, extra pillows and sufficient towels for your stay. Amenities also include daily access to the main office for any business needs that arise, such as faxing, copying and printing boarding passes. Maintenance is also available seven days a week along with an after-hours emergency call attendant. This is a non smoking home.

ALL cancellation requests must be received in WRITING via email, fax or letter. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Trip Insurance, Non Cash Disount Fees, Certain Service Fees and Condo Approval Fees are not refundable.

Upon written notice at least 30 days prior to the Rental Period, the prepayment less an $85 fee shall be returned for cancellation.


Thereafter, there are no refunds in the unfortunate event of a cancellation prior to the Rental Period. Changes to reservations will be accommodated based on availability. Refunds are not given for unmet expectations, weather, natural disaster, evacuation, personal, or other related reasons. The Management Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

"Crimson 302
Location was fabulous. Directly across the road from John’s Pass. Beach beautiful. Accommodations were roomy with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite with walk in closet, and double sink vanity, patio doors, was awesome! The kitchen island which seats 8 was very nice.
However, the washer, which is right by island is so loud, we couldn’t sit at island and have a conversation, or hear the Tv in living room. The mattress in 3rd bedroom is worn, and sinks in the middle. I would give this place a 10, if they could address washer and 3rd bed, but overall nice place!!"

"Thanksgiving week
We walked around in our socks, and after about 20 minutes, they were filthy. The dryer took eight hours to dry a batch of towels, and about five hours to dry our laundry. Need to get maintenance to please check that out. Overall we had a fantastic time."

"Beautiful view, excellent location, almost 100%
This unit has the best view in the complex-talk about a gorgeous view to wake up to and watch a sunset! It was easy to find and the Sunhost staff were always friendly & helpful. I was disappointed, though, in a few things. This unit boasts high end fixtures-which is true-the kitchen island is fabulous, but finish was coming off bathroom cabinets, one bedroom door handle was very loose, the toilet paper holder was very loose and floppy in the master bath, one sink was clogged and wouldn't drain water, the other sinks had no stopper to hold water, there were base boards that looked like they were coming away from the wall, and switch plates didn't fit the switch. It wasn't as clean as I expected for the location and price point and while the master bedroom had a good mattress, the front bedroom mattress and pillows left a lot to be desired. Again, I know nothing is exactly like home but when we paid what we paid, I would have expected a little higher caliber of carpentry/overall maintenance and cleanliness of the unit.The view can't be beat, so I tried to not to focus on the minor disappointments. If a new mattress made its way to the front room, I'd definitely come back!"

"Great location but lacking comforts of home
Missing amenities...toilet paper Kleenex, paper towels, bar soap, dish rags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, salt/pepper, coffee filters, etc. Guests should NOT have to go shopping upon arrival. Management company was intrusive, pest control, vent cleaning, cable TV maintenance and cabinet repair."

"Unreliable elevator
The condo was beautiful and well appointed. The issue we had was the elevator was not operating when we arrived. We had to bring everything up 3 flights of stairs. I walk with a cane and this was very difficult for me. I called the office to see what would be done. I was told it wasn’t their problem. I was essentially trapped in the condo my first night. Of the 7 days I was there, the elevator worked 3 days. I also felt it strange that they sent maintenance to measure for a new couch while there were guests occupying the unit. I would think there would be time to do that between guests. Overall, I probably would think twice before using SunHost again. "

"Great location! Beautiful beach!
Would definitely recommend and stay again. Great condo and beautiful views! Could use a few updates like new sofa and more comfortable mattress but otherwise condo is nice. Balcony a wonderful area to sit and watch sunset. Pool clean and hot tub nice. Short walk to beach. Only complaint is need for key to get out and in pool area, and need for key to get out and in gate going to beach. Definitely need a key pad to punch in code. With only 2 sets of keys for 6 people it was hard to go in and out without having to call for someone to come open gate for you each time. Felt like we weren’t free to come and go as we would have if we all had a key or if there was a code instead. Inconvenient but still a wonderful vacation and we made it work. Across street from Johns Pass so no need to get in car to go eat and shop. Saw lots of dolphins and even saw 3 manatees. Crystal clear water! Beautiful area! "

"Top notch family vacation
Our stay at 302 was the absolute best. We have 2 small children and everything was perfect. The location can not be beat, directly across the street from John’s pass and right on the beach. The unit was beautiful and we enjoyed spending as much time inside it as out of it. It had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We absolutely loved the live music at the Bamboo beer garden and had a great lobster roll at the boardwalk grill on John’s pass. The kids loved the crocodile sanctuary at John’s pass as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone. "

"Relaxation dream vacation
My girlfriends and I have stayed at the crimson on multiple occasions. I plan on bringing my whole family in 2023. Always a great experience. Condos are clean an neat. Great views of the ocean and sunsets. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Can’t say enough good things!"

"Lived up to high expectations!
We were looking for a nice unit in a pedestrian friendly location. The condo fully lived up to the description and was a very comfy home away from home. The location (on the beach with awesome views of gulf and sunsets) was great and having the John's Pass boardwalk with numerous shops and restaurants right across the street was ideal for days when we did not have a car available. All in all, a great place to spend a week and get some sun and R&R."

"302 Crimson
While we have rented from Sunhost in the past, this time was very disappointing. We liked the location of the unit, but it was far from clean. Dirty dishes, land and silver in the kitchen cupboards. We had to wash everything before we used it. Huge hair and dust ball on the floor in the third bedroom, along with dirty shams placed on clean bedding. Had to wash those. Filthy stained bed coverings in the second bedroom. I refused to wash those and just removed them from the bed. Dishwasher was so loose we thought it might fall out of its spot, also didn't clean the dishes. Which may be why we had to wash them by hand. Covers for the bar stools were stained and dirty and furniture seemed like it had seen better days. The location was great and we really enjoyed the beach, but we felt Sunhost was not doing a good job of maintaining the property. For these reasons we would not recommend this at this time."

Nice place, could use nicer glasses better cookware and cutlery including knives
The dishwasher didn’t seem to be installed correctly and the shower handle was broken in the en-suite it would be nice if the building had gas barbecues it would also be good to have programmable cards to gain access to the pool and the beach. When u have 4-6 people and only 2 keys it can be a pain
Overall a nice unit and we will stay again.. oh and add to the list a kurig coffee maker. Need to fix the hot tub"

"Great Location
We enjoyed the location of this condo, it’s spacious floor plan and amenities. However the couch needs replacing. Very worn and VERY uncomfortable.

In order to check in it is important to know you do so at the white building in front of the condo building. That was not made clear to us. The staff there aren’t particularly friendly but will give you what you need. It appears they manage other condo buildings as listed on the building.

The only issue we had with the place (besides the couch) is the key locks for everything! You need it for getting in and out of the pool, in and out of the beach, in and out of the elevator area, etc. I understand the need for security, but an upgrade to a fob would make things easier and more convenient.

All in all this is a nice place, directly on the beach in a great location; close to shopping and restaurants in John’s Pass."

"The best location!
We returned to Crimson 302, after our stay was delayed last year due to Covid. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. We arrived early and were able to check in early. Our unit was updated a few years ago, with beach views and a great place for gathering. We love staying at Crimson and hope to return soon."

"We loved our stay in Crimson 302
We enjoyed our stay at Crimson 302. We had absolutely everything we needed. The view from our balcony was priceless. For the first time we did not rent a car because everything was in walking distance. The area was fantastic for our teenager to go and do things with friends. The only issue we had was our tv in the master bedroom did not work, and it was difficult to set up the access in general. Not that we watched a bunch of tv, but my suggestion would be to upgrade to smart TVs that include Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. access and then guests can use their own accounts to view whatever like. We will definitely return. We had a great vacation!"

"Beautiful view
The condo is in a great location. Beautiful beach view and across the street from Johns Pass which has plenty of shops and restaurants.
It’s a large 3 bedroom 2 bath and great kitchen.

"Great location
Our experience was tainted by many issues that occurred with the unit while we were there! Although they did fix some issues it took several days ! We were in love with the spacious condo and the proximity to everything we wanted to do! The sunsets were breathtaking! An update on the furniture, dishwasher and fresh paint is highly recommended. Also note that the dryer is so loud that you can’t watch tv at the same time! Overall we had an okay visit and maybe if they fix the issues we would come back to this unit! "

"Our favorite beach condo- highly recommended!
Our family has been coming to Mad Beach the week of Thanksgiving for over 20 years and we have stayed in several different condos. Crimson 302 is by far our favorite. We have stayed in this unit 4 times and have reserved it again for 2021. The balcony view is exceptional, the 3 bedrooms are perfect for the six of us and the short walk to Johns Pass Boardwalk make this an ideal stay.
The unit is always clean and management is available to address any issues or questions that you may have.
We have stayed in less expensive condos, but this is well worth the extra $$.

"Beautiful on the Gulf
Crimson 302 was a great place for a vacation. Not only a gulf view but completely gulf front. Amazing sunsets from the balcony. Only 15 units here, very secure with a key or code needed to get to the lobby/elevator. Pool and beach access were very easy and close. Watch the boats come out of John’s pass as it’s right across the street. Access to shops. Restaurants and water sports. "
