Surf Song #229 - Very spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo is the only one bedroom unit near the pool at Surf Song. This retreat has easy access to beach and is across the street from John's Pass Village. Perfect location for a perfect vacation! Free Wifi. Please note there is no phone in this condo.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with (Property Management) prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Tiled throughout, the kitchen has modern cabinets, appliances and new countertops including a dining area that seats up to three. .As with all SunHost properties, it is fully stocked with utensils so your cooking needs are met. The nicely decorated living area contains comfortable leather furnishings and television. In the master bedroom, you will be discover newer furniture and two double beds, television and plenty of closet space. The bathroom is of course, meticulous and linens, extra towels and pillows are stocked for your visit. This delightful condo is ready to entertain your family and friends!

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home.

Thereafter, there are no refunds in the unfortunate event of a cancellation prior to the Rental Period. Changes to reservations will be accommodated based on availability. Refunds are not given for unmet expectations, weather, natural disaster, evacuation, personal, or other related reasons. The Management Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

"Needs updated!
When walking into our unit the odor was horrible and smelled like it hasn’t been used in months. The couch looked like it had been there since the early 80’s and was in horrible condition. Then we walk into the bedroom and it was 2 full size beds on cheap bed frames that sounded like they were going to fall apart at any second. This place needs updated in the worst way! After checking in we called to see if we could get out of that unit and move to a hotel down the street because it was unacceptable! Only thing that saved us after wasting our money on this dump of a room was the beach and being so close to John’s Pass so we could escape the unit!"

Had a wonderful stay at surf song as always! Tried out a different room this year and the room was great with one exception, the beds. Definitely need to upgrade the beds they felt like sleeping on sheets of plywood. Other than that everything else was great! Already booked for next year at surf song but selected a different room. "

"very bad communication between management and workers!!!!
well it was nice. we got in are room early. nice place the next day. came in from the beach to take a **** and shower and no water. I called down and they said the workers turned of the water. no warning or any I have a toilet full of s!!! and no place to take a shower. so I have to go meet friends smelling like a!!!. came back 3 hrs later and still no water, now I'm really pissed. called the hotline and they were going to check on it. well in the mean time I went to the workers and send what's up with the water. they talked to someone and they forgot to turn it back on. very not communication with the people in the office or management. its not my job to find out about the paying good money to stay at a nice place and this is how you treat your paying customers.noboby ever came to check on what was going on!!!!! then the next day I was was watching cable in the morning and when we came back from a walk there was no cable or internet. finds out after some more phone calls the old owners sold the place and cancelled the service,what kind of management do you have running this place. it looks like you are just collecting money and don't give a **** on what is going on. it took another 4 hours to get the cable guy there. then I was in the bathroom and heard all this water coming from the shower. it was flowering out of the light fixgue in the shower. so that how was my first 2 in a half days. not the way to start your vacation. I know this will not show up on your web sight or really go any further. so who everf is running this property should be fired!!!! I have run and owned property and I knew everything that was going on. I got the excuse that the people hired to work there was from the owners but you are the property people making sure your customers are happy, I think you faild. "

"Room #229
I love staying at the Surf Song. It's kind of old school and has a nice vibe. Unfortunately my room #229 has not been kept up to date. I don't expect a lot but the beds in it are terrible. they actually made my back and sides sore. You would think that they could put some good mattresses in the rooms to make it more enjoyable. They also have a ceiling fan in the bedroom that barely works and has a sign on the wall that says it only works on low speed. It's a little absurd that they won't even put a cheap fan up that works properly !!! The bottom of the door in the bathroom is all tattered. It would be nice if they took a little pride in there unit. Now it's up for sale again and will probably be sold to another owner that doesn't care about how it looks either. Sadly I will not be staying there any longer. I like the Surf Song but you don't know what your going to get from one condo to the other. "

"Surfsong on decline
I have stayed at surf song over 25 times and the last 9 years in room 229.
Since last year the unit got a generic refrigerator WITHOUT an ice make and had one self make ice tray. Let’s be honest an ice maker option may be an extra 100$ but in the last 2 years my weekly rental rate has more than went up over 1000$ per week!!! The power struggle with sunhost rentals as made for a less than clean property now. In the 7 day renal we did the pool looked like a pond for 3 of the 7 days! Also the unit 229 the ceiling fan DOES NOT work! The office remedy was giving us a box fan!! Also I called the current property manager about the pool and they hung up on me and said it was TAKEN CARE OF!"

"Location, location, location
Check in went smoothly! Room was as pictured...updated and nice furnishings. The ocean view from the living room window and proximity to the pool and beach was amazing! We enjoyed being able to be on the beach or across the street at St John’s Pass within a minute or two. It’s an older property but we felt it’s been nicely updated and clean! We also loved how small the complex was and never felt crowded on the beach! The only “negative” we could report back is the ceiling fan/ light in the bedroom did not work and at checkout I relayed that one of the beach chairs in the closet was broken and I was made to feel like the worst person and told I may be charged for it although she had no clue there was chairs for guest to use in the closet”. Overall we recommend this property and specific unit!! "

"Just Ok
Been vacationing with Sunhost at johns pass for years and the outdoor areas are nice and clean and the pool is great. The rooms are not very comfortable all the furniture including the beds are hard and flat to seat or lay on (you can feel the framing when you seat down). Sorry Sunhost next year we will find a new place to stay with some comfort on the inside."

"Our Yearly trip to Surf Song
We have been going to Surf Song for at least 30 years. When we were working we stayed 2 weeks and we are now retired and stay 6 weeks. We also spend Thanksgiving week in one of the management properties. We love This location with Johns Pass and so many other things to do. "
