The condo was generally very nice, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was as depicted. The buildings are a bit dated and attention to detail on things like cleaning built up grime around door knobs was missing. However we were comfortable and liked the location."

"Another Great Stay
This was our third time at Aston Papakea. It is a perfect (safe) location if you like to walk and are wanting to relax. Beaches, an ABC, food trucks, restaurants, grocery store, and coffee shop are all within walking distance. The resort is beautifully maintained and has daily activities. "Some things never change!
20 years ago, my wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at Papakea and had an amazing time! Last week we returned to celebrate 20 years of marriage with our teenage daughters along for the ride this time and had as much fun or more this time around! The property is well managed, perfectly maintained, and just what you need for a wonderful vacation. Our unit with updated, and in perfect working condition. You are just a few minutes by car or bus to Whalers Village and about 15 minutes to Lahaina Town. There is a convenience store, grocery store, and several small restaurants within a couple minutes walk. We hope to revisit again soon! "

"Great Condo in Great Ka’anapali Location
We absolutely loved our stay in Papakea E306. This unit has everything needed to relax and enjoy your time on Maui. Looked exactly as represented in the rental listing, and everything worked, no problems at all. The bed was very comfortable, the appliances and kitchen outfitted nicely, and the view from the lanai was just perfect! We enjoyed and used the beach towels and chairs, and cooler during several beach visits, snorkeling adventures and hikes. There are restaurants and a grocery store just a short walk away. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable, with chairs by the pool and oceanfront. Daily activities for those who are interested. Thank you for the wonderful vacation."

Great Condo well appointed...the only concern we had was the tile floors were
dirty.
People track in sand and we found the floor tile left the soles of your feet (black).
So they need to be washed with clean mop. No swept with broom like I saw the maidens doing. That does not clean the floor."

"Family Vacation - Papakea E306
This condo was just as described in the explanation. The condo was very clean and amenities were in great shape. They could use a few plastic trays to take down for BBQing (no glass allowed) but aside from that everything was as shown. Plenty of linens, beach towels, boogie boards, laundry detergent, etc. The Team from were very helpful with all our questions regarding the accommodations. The lovely bag and box of chocolates we received upon arrival were a nice surprise. We plan on returning to Maui in another year and definitely hope E306 is available. Aloha and Mahalo Team!!"

"Great stay, condo even better than expected.
We stayed at Papakea E306 for five nights.

The condo was roomy, well-furnished and clean. The king bed was comfortable, with pillows so nice that my wife wants to buy the same ones. The lanai was spacious with an even better ocean and pool view than we expected. The welcome gift of a beach bag and chocolates was a nice touch. Extra amenities like beach chairs were appreciated. Three minor quibbles: 1) only one small bar of soap for the two of us for 5 nights, 2) only two beach towels, could have used a couple more, 3) no beach umbrella.

The property overall is well-maintained, clean and in a safe area. Amenities like shuffleboard, mini golf, beach access (at low tide) and of course the pool, hot tub and ocean view pavilion were very enjoyable.

Great location, within walking distance of several excellent, casual, mid-priced restaurants and also a fun food truck court (Pizza Paradiso, The Fish Market and Thai Food by Suri are especially good). A short drive to excellent West-side beaches, yet away from the Lahaina crowds.

We would definitely stay here again!"
