A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will be refunded 100% damage/reservation deposit paid to LLC. If the reservation is during Peak Winter December through March and the week of a holiday, our policy requires ninety (90) days cancellation notice to receive 100% refund. This does not include any booking fees paid to an outside travel agency. In this case you will need to abide by their policies. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days or 90 days when applicable of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation, shortened stays or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately which we highly recommend. Nature and the lack of or the amount of sandy beach does not warrant a refund. We can not control nature or predict the weather or beach conditions. Our tropical environment is subject to pests. The resort complexes do regular treatments as does our management company. We ask guests to take care in cleaning up immediately after food items are used.

"Good stay
Good stay, There is no beach access, photos with sandy beach are dated, beach is no longer. You can cross the rocks and get into the water to surf or go snorkelling, good snorkelling right outside. Turtles in front of the property every morning and sometimes up onto the rocks. The pool was warm, the property was very well maintained. If you have kids, no pool toys or balls in the pool, noodles only. Our unit was dated but most looked updated. Overall no complaints really. Grocery store is 3 minute drive. The parking is good, but the made the stalls so tight you can barely get out of your car. "

"Great location but condo need work
Pros: Amazing view from balcony - listening to the waves, beautiful sunsets and seeing turtles everyday. Great location as it is close to amenities and other beaches. Must do - eat at the Fish Market which is just a stone's throw from the condo! Free parking and no resort fee. No problem with access and smooth check in/check out. The grounds was beautiful and well kept. The condo was well equipped with cooking equipment and spices. There were beach chairs and a cooler, which was nice, although we didn't use them.

Cons:The condo needs a thorough cleaning. Although interior requires maintenance, we are not too fussed about that since it is an older condo building. However, if the condo was cleaned well it would have made it better. The floors were really dirty - perhaps bring house slippers.There was a layer of dust on top of the fridge and other "not seen" surfaces. Lights needed to be replaced as it is very dim in the kitchen and especially in the bathroom. The extremely dim light makes it very uncomfortable to be in the bathroom, especially when it is a really tight space to start."

Pretty small - would recommend only 2 people.

Easy and responsive communication.

Bathroom is a bit small and dated. If you are tall, might find it a bit too cozy.

"2 time staying here
Wow what an experience, with this Covid-19 issues swept in while we were here and understand this was trying times.
This unit is our 2 nd time staying here in 5 yrs, we love this locations and the views from our balcony are arguely some of the best in the whole island!
The condo it self has some issues with plumbing, the shower hot water lasts 4-5 mins max so good luck shaving in the shower, the toilet has a hard time flushing every single time,
The property manager sent us a message a few weeks before we arrived to inform us there was going to be some tile work on a condo in our build, didn’t think much of this until we got there and from 9-5 everyday for 2 weeks we had to listen to banging, cutting, talking amongst the crew. To go and spend this kind of money and listen to construction everyday was a painful process. The condo management did send someone out timely every time i called for the shower drain the hot water and the toilet.
After all of this i would not stay In this unit until they renovate the bathroom area like other units have in this complex. "

"Disappointed
This unit was old and run down. It is small, bedroom cramped. Too much unnecessary furniture in the room. Not enough space in the closet to store your luggage(it was packed full of fans). Bathroom is tiny. This condo was not at all what we expected. The grounds however were gorgeous and the beach was like no other we have stayed in Maui. We loved sitting out on the beach watching the turtles. Kim from epic Realty was AWESOME when we had to call her for a couple issues. The wifi was not working when we arrived-she sent someone over to get that taken care of. The slider out to the patio came off it’s track on the second day so we had to call her again to have someone come to get that fixed.... which was done again in a timely matter. Although the unit itself is in dire need of upgrades , the staff and grounds were exceptional. "

"Kuleana #713 was an excellent choice.
This was our second stay at Kuleana. We like West Maui since it's not as busy as Lahaina, Kaanapali, and other locations. The first stay, the units were not handled by . They were quick to respond to any questions. If you come on a weekend the security office might be closed as the person does other duties. Check back if the door is closed because you need to get the parking pass. Maybe it was the time of year (end of April, beginning of May) but for the first time we saw Hawaiian sea turtles right on the beach in front of the propert!. They come up to rest so please do not touch them and stay back 10 feet (there are signs). You can also see them in the water. The a/c unit (very old) in the bedroom conked out halfway and we did report it to . Wi-fi was spotty at times. That was the only issues we had. So overall we enjoyed renting this unit, especially since it's right on the water with great views and beautiful sunsets. "

"Agency Service unacceptable
I had problems with the rental agency, . When I arrived, I was able to use the email sent to me to gain access to the unit. However, I could not find the keys to use the complex nor the safe that was specified in the email. After searching for a while, I called the agency and spoke to a person. This was the only time I was able to speak with them. The person came and gave me the key. He said that the previous renter had taken the key and that he had only recently received it. I had arrived on a Sunday afternoon. I did not ask him when he had received it, but I assume it was several days before and I wondered why they did not put it in the unit before I arrived. I also asked about the safe referred to in the email. He said the safe had been removed because it did not work well in the wet climate of Hawaii. I suggested they also remove the safe instructions from the email that they send renters. Later that day I went shopping for groceries, and, when I returned, I saw the sign that cars without a permit would be towed. No permit was given to me, and due to my search of the unit I knew there was no permit. Since it was after 5 PM at that point, I decided to call the next day to ask about the permit hoping that the car would not be towed. In the morning I called the agency. There was no answer nor answering machine nor voicemail. I was disconnected. I left the unit to return in the afternoon when I saw security agent who gave me a permit, so I did not try to call again. The next day I had business on the volcano. When I returned, I was very cold. I tried to get warm in bed, but the blanket was very thin, and I could not find another blanket. In the morning, I tried again to call office to ask for a blanket. This time I received a voicemail indication that the mailbox was full. I then tried to email the office to ask for a blanket. Eventually they sent me a message saying that I would receive a blanket. I did not receive one. The next day I sent them a mes"

This was exactly what we needed! After an extremely stressful year the sea and beach was wonderful. I loved the lanai! I spent every morning with my coffee out there and several evenings out there also. I loved being up one from ground level bcuz the view was so much better that way. I loved the resident turtles and loved the beach with only the few residents and guests that could go there. We didn’t want a crowded beach and this one was perfect. The condo was clean and well kept.....everything in working order. We definitely want to go again and plan on getting this same one"

"Kuleana 713 - Great Location!!
The condo had everything we needed and the location/view was spectacular. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the entire property is well-kept and beautiful. We love hearing the ocean from the condo, the view from the lanai, swimming in the ocean, and the wonderful salt-water pool! The proximity to everything is also great!"

"Amazing week @ Kuleana
Expectations were exceeded during our 8d 7n stay at the Kuleana resort in west Maui. The condo itself was immaculate and had all the provisions we needed. A plethora of dining and shopping is conveniently located nearby, as we cooked and took advantage of local cuisine. Kuleana has an awesome private beach that we took advantage of every single day in between trips for surfing, snorkeling, dining, shopping and cruising around the island. I even forgot my bluetooth speaker in the living room and it was immediately shipped back to me. You will not be disappointed when staying here! "

"Absolutely Magical
This was our first stay at Kuleana, we were not disappointed. Unit 713 was perfect for my husband and me. The couch has changed from this picture ( a visual improvement) and the tall table on the balcony has been replaced with a normal sized table (I think the high table would be nice to have). The condo was super clean and very well cared for. The entire property was always spotless. As a matter of fact, I don't know when people cleaned it because no one was ever in our way or disruptive to our quiet vacation. We snorkeled right outside our door and saw so many beautiful fish and let's not forget the turtles!!!!! We are actually considering buying at the Kuleana. The service from was top notch. Stacey replied to my emails in what seemed like minutes and answered the phone the first time we called when we had a simple question. Excellent stay, excellent unit and excellent location. We have found our home away from home."

Amazing gem of a rental! Beautiful location in W Maui with secluded cove/beach. Ocean waves right at the lanai. Quiet, respectful condo community gives feeling of solitude. Prompt assistance from with maintenance issues (walked through the screen while mezmerized by view! ;-)

"Great stay in Kuleana 713!
Loved our stay in your unit. It was our best Maui holiday yet. Close to the water, really close, you hear the surf all the time but we love it. Unit is in clean hawaiian style and very private on the second floor. Some road noise in bedroom but most of the time the surf drowns it out. Just 7 steps up from parking lot. Pool is great. Barbecue is right on the shore with million dollar view. Helen and her staff were very helpful especially after I locked my passports in the safe and couldn't get them out. They were in fact too helpful as it would have been a great excuse to give back to my workplace on why I couldn't come home!"

We had a great stay at this property. The beach was unfortunately not very useable for sun tanning and a little choppy for snorkeling. But the view was great from the deck. The fans and ac kept the place at a good temperature. The unit was clean and nicely kept. Little bit of a drive to good snorkeling spots. The unit was in a nice area however I think i would stay closer to kihea next time."

"Kuleana Condo
We really liked our stay at Kuleana! It is a somewhat small (relatively to the huge high rises and other complexes in Lahaina area); and that was just perfect for us. Quiet, not crowded, great location, beautifully landscaped grounds, exceptionally clean pool and very nice manager. The beach was right in front of our condo(and there is plenty of tree shade on the beach!). The pool was about a 2 minute walk. The gas grills nearby; all of them in perfect condition and clean as can be. The 1-bedroom condo was the perfect size for us with a large lanai! It was unseasonably hot for the Lahaina area, so we requested extra fans and the owner brought them over within an hour. The BR is air conditioned; however the LR/Kitchen is not. Opening the front door, keeping the lanai screen down in the middle of the day and using the fans helped keep the temperature from getting too hot; but it was still a bit warm. To be fair and put the heat index into perspective, I like the winters in Chicago. So, for me it felt fairly warm. However, we didn't spend much time in the condo during the day - there is the ocean and pool not to mention driving to Hana and Haleakala. If I were to come back to this area, I would definitely stay at Kuleana again. I really loved the boutique size of the complex and the size of our unit #713. I might consider staying at a ground level unit next time so that you could just walk right out the patio door and be on the beach within seconds (rather than minutes)."

"We loved our stay in Maui!
The condo was absolutely lovely. The view from the lanai was even better than we had seen in the pictures online. The decor in the unit was very beachy and cute. We were so comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The little beach just outside the unit was beautiful and we even saw turtles swimming by as we looked out at the ocean from the lanai. The grounds were perfect. We loved barbecuing right on the water and the lighting of the tiki torches each night was great! We would stay here again in a second!!"

The view is amazing and the beach out front of the building is a great place for both snorkeling and boogie boarding. The lanai is a wonderful place to watch the sunset. Enjoyed having A/C in the bedroom. The actual unit could use some updating especially in the bathroom. "

"Very nice place in an excelent location
perfect location and the apartment has a great view from the lanai.
Once we arrived we noticed the towels had toilet paper were nicely shaped,and there was cold water in the fridge.

There's AC only in the bedroom and its a old unit which was a bit noisy, but was not a bid deal for us.

The beach is very nice, and its not busy like others like napili and we were able to swim very close to big turtles.

Its also near to Honolua bay, which I highly recommend if you love doing snorkeling.
Its also near a very good restaurant called "Star noodles", you cant miss the Pad Thai and the Salmon, prices are very good and food its excellent ( its always full capacity so I highly recommend you to make a reservation).

"Dream trip
This vacation rental was superb. The interior, exterior and view were fabulous. Of course, Maui is phenomenal. The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed from stocked kitchen for cooking, all the toiletries we needed daily, etc. The only thing I wished I would have paid more attention too was the air conditioner. With the temps bring 90-95 each day in June which was rare, the window air in the bedroom did not help cool anything except the bedroom. The owner was great to bring us a floor fan that was appreciated but didn't help but blow hot air around. Another recommendation is to replace the styro foam cooler with a good cooler that you can actually wheel around of pull with one hand. The owner was amazing and definitely knows how to treat her guest. Helen with EPiC is fantastic too. Kulena has beautiful grounds and the beach is amazing. Will definitely be back and stay at Kulena. "
