"Amazing Rainbow Hale Estate
Didn’t think it was possible but Rainbow Hale was even more magnificent than the photos - the house and grounds are stunningly beautiful and well cared for - it’s well stocked, equipped (both inside and out with beach chairs and umbrella) and clean. Perfect for our adult family vacation. Best for up to 6 people using the 3 bedrooms as the sofa pullout in the library wasn’t the most comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. The location is convenient - very close to amenities yet far enough away it was so quiet. The views of the ocean and sunsets were spectacular and also star gazing from the hot tub at night. Rainbow Hale was a wonderful way for our family to enjoy spending time with each other in luxurious comfort. The rental company was very responsive. Highly recommend. "

"Second visit to Paradise
Home setting stunning as expected. We first visited in 2018 and everything sparkled. This time, we felt the kitchen needed a deep clean especially the cabinets. The water pressure in the guest bathroom (closest to the pool) was very low and consistent temp control was hard to achieve. This same bathrooms sink has a small leak around stem when turned on. Small maintenance items easily corrected. Over all, we are happy we chose Rainbow Hale for our second visit. "

"Heavens Rainbow
Highly Recommend. The views are absolutely gorgeous, and the patio pool layout was perfect. We never wanted to leave the house. It had everything!!! We LOVED the sunsets and all the rainbows. It was well stocked with kitchen/grilling/pool floats/beach items. It was very spacious and allows each person to have their privacy to sleep without hearing what others are doing in the house. Sean (our host) was quick to respond and incredibly attentive to all our questions. I appreciate how he made sure we were well taken care of. General Travel Tip: Remember that Maui can get very windy; I was surprised at how strong the winds can get. Especially in the afternoon."

"Wonderful again!
We love this property. This was our second year staying here and I'm sure we will be back again. The pool is perfect for everyone, the kids especially love it when the adults need a little afternoon break. The privacy is excellent, we just love it compared to a Resort, condo or a house in a busy part of town. This is in a gated community but you are a 4 minute drive from parking lots to access some of the best beaches on Maui. "

"Return trip to Rainbow Hale Estste
We stayed at the beautiful Rainbow Hale Estate in June with our family. We returned for two weeks the end of January, with a few other couples. The trip again was outstanding. The weather cooperated beautifully. We saw gorgeous rainbows, and from the lanai would sit and watch the whales, jumping! The fully equipped kitchen allowed for each couple to take an evening fixing dinner. The location is absolutely perfect – up the hill from Kannapoli Beach. An amazing 2week getaway!"

"poor experience
- Water pressure is low throughout the house, a decent shower cannot be had
- Kitchen is infested with cockroaches, quite a health hazard
- All pantry cabinets were locked by owner. No access to store food items
- Old and chipped dishes as a previous guest mentioned
- The kitchen and the whole house need a complete deep cleaning, as mentioned by a prior quest
- Black mold around the bathtub, a point made by a prior guest and obviously not addressed. Another major health hazard
- Location- the house is closed to the main road and the first one off of the gated entrance to the development which is under active construction. Heavy traffic starts before the sun rises and is very disruptive
- TV in the library/den is not working properly. Also, the convertible sofa bed was worn down to the springs. It had to be replaced by an air mattress
- Part of the air conditioning was not functioning for two days in 80+ degree temperature and high humidity
- The property manager, proved to be inept, rude and accusatory.
Full disclosure: We are currently in dispute with the rental company as they are withholding our deposit based on a couple of bogus and inconsistent claims. We will not pay for something we did not do, and moreover, we refuse to allow and condone such unsavory business practices. Caveat Emptor."

"10 Night Family Stay
Our family of 8 stayed in the home in July 2023. The home was spacious and comfortable. The location was private and easy to get to many attractions. The home was well stocked. They provided games, paper towels, towels, hand soap, dish soap. We also really appreciated the beach towels, coolers, and chairs. I would have like to have some more general cleaning supplies in the home for use as well.
The home is beautiful and so is the scenery all around the property. I would recommend a very deep clean though. It was generally clean overall, but a lot of the dishes were dirty and there were some cobwebs. The one shower has some pink mold on the stone and the shower head had little water pressure. The appliances could use a good scrubbing. Again, it was acceptable, just time for some routine deep cleaning expected with a rental home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home and made very special memories. The children loved the pool. It did not need to be heated during our stay in July. We enjoyed a massage on the Lanai. The outdoor kitchen and grill was clean and worked great. Almost daily we witnessed rainbows and beautiful sunsets. We feel so lucky and blessed to have been give. The opportunity to stay in the home. We will remember our stay for all our lives."

"5 Star Accomodations with Amazing Views
Rainbow Hale is an exceptional home located within a coffee farm close to town, yet far enough away from the resort bustle.
Our family of 6 stayed comfortably at the home where we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, having dinner al fresco on the back lanai dining table.
Reading on the back lanai seating area was a favorite lounging spot whether morning afternoon or night.
We saw a rainbow every day and the view of Moloka'i and Lanai were incredible.
Definitely recommend making Rainbow Hale your home away from home if visiting Maui!"

"Mahalo Maui
This house is incredible! Pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed with our family of 5 for 4 days. Waking up to these incredible views every morning is an unforgettable experience. Just relaxing around the house was one of our favorite things to do in Maui because it’s just that nice. They have everything you need already inside the home, peaceful, and secluded. Our kids loved the pool and the huge yard to play in. We had couples massages done right on the back porch over looking the ocean, it was amazing. This has to be one of the best houses to stay in Maui. I’m so glad we decided to stay in the house rather then a resort. It’s no comparison! If you’re considering booking this house, just do it!!! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Aloha rentals for giving our family an amazing Maui experience!"

"Beautiful House, Wonderful Setting
This house is very spacious and wonderfully appointed. It has lots of beautiful windows and decks to enjoy the Hawaiian landscape. My husband and I enjoyed the huge master suite and bath featuring a fabulous shower. The house also has two other lovely bedrooms with baths which offered lots of privacy. The kitchen is well equipped. There are lots of seating areas inside and out. The view of the ocean is lovely. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Walking around the grounds, we found many flowering plants and fruit trees. The home was very clean and well-maintained. My family spent four days here. It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing, cooking, swimming, and enjoying time together. We found the location to be convenient. The manager was helpful and responsive."

"Fabulous Home!
We spent a little over three weeks here during the month of July. We found the home to be beautiful, wonderfully furnished, well appointed and comfortable. The pool area and view were spectacular, and where we spent most of our time during out stay. The location was perfect - easy access to both Lahaina and Kapalua for dining and golf. The only con, for us, was the cost to heat the pool, which we found necessary. It was quite cool, and in the winter months would be uncomfortable.
We will definitely return. Kudos, as well, to the Property Manager. Tina was probably one of the best we have ever dealt with. Thank you!"

"Luxury Paradise in Maui
We recently stayed at Rainbow Hale for a Spring Break trip and it did not disappoint. This home is exquisitely decorated and furnished with every amenity you will ever need! It is a welcome retreat from the crowds at Kaanapali, yet very close as we were shuttling kids down to the beach to meet up with friends. The gourmet kitchen and grill made it so easy to dine in, especially when dining was not at full capacity in restaurants. Note - the Maui Fish Market is great for ready to grill fish, seasonings and marinades. There is a lovely, walk around the coffee farms with a panoramic view of the ocean. This home feels larger than it is and would easily accommodate up to 8 people very comfortably. The rainbows seem endless and we cannot wait to come back!"

The overall experience was fantastic. From someone who has spent a lot of time in the Hawaiian islands, I can safely say that being slightly up country (instead of on the water) was far superior. The only words of caution are that there is a rather large fee for heating the pool that was not made clear when I rented through Luxury Retreats and the dryer did not work. Other than that, I would recommend this home to anyone."

"A++ Vacation Home
From the moment we walked through the front doors, this house exceeded our expectations by far! Wow- words cannot describe the views, the beauty and the wonderful amenities this house has to offer. The house was spotless and immaculately clean and in pristine condition. We were spoiled here for our entire stay! The grounds are so pretty with the fruit trees, plumeria trees and coffee plants. Sitting by the pool and looking out to that ocean view never got old. Myra was fantastic with the few issues we had and couldn't have been any sweeter or more helpful. Thank you! I will miss having my morning coffee on the back porch with that beautiful view, but we will most definitely return to the stunningly beautiful Rainbow Hale in the future! "

"Magical 40th Anniversary Family Trip!
This property is absolutely amazing! The privacy, the inside, the outside, the grounds are truly something you have to see to truly appreciate! We arrived and the vacation rental company met us, walked us through and made sure we had everything we needed. During our stay, we had a few questions and Tina answered us immediately! The bed rooms are spacious with private baths...the master suite is huge!! The pool, hot tub, patios and 360* views are spectacular. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for the private chef we had one night. It is perfect for families and even had a portable crib & booster chair, along with pool and sand toys! Beach chairs, towels, coolers, all there! This vacation rental is absolutely majestic and was a memory we will never forget! We will be back!"
