A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will be refunded 100% damage/reservation deposit paid to LLC. If the reservation is during Peak Winter December through March and the week of a holiday, our policy requires ninety (90) days cancellation notice to receive 100% refund. This does not include any booking fees paid to an outside travel agency. In this case you will need to abide by their policies. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days or 90 days when applicable of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation, shortened stays or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately which we highly recommend. Nature and the lack of or the amount of sandy beach does not warrant a refund. We can not control nature or predict the weather or beach conditions. Our tropical environment is subject to pests. The resort complexes do regular treatments as does our management company. We ask guests to take care in cleaning up immediately after food items are used.

"Should be called Epic FAIL Realty
I have been to Maui 2 times in the last 18 months and stay at the Aston Kaanapali shores each time. This is the property I actually booked with Epic Fail Realty. While i was flying to Maui, 6 hours before check in, they told me that I could not stay in the place that I booked (which is roughly 30% more in price on average) and they moved me from a resort style condo with a bar, gym, store, and restaurant, and 2 pools to a residential condo over a mile away that didn't have A/C in the unit. They offered me a full refund and that I could find my own place to stay, for 14 days that included Thanksgiving weekend. So I booked 12 days myself in the Aston and still cost me over $500 per night for 2 nights because I had to pay a full cleaning fee for only 2 nights instead of the 14. They were no help at all, and were willing to leave me stranded with no place to stay. Dayna Harvey from Epic FAIL realty was no help and this cost me over $2000 to stay in the the original place I booked. Beware of Epic FAIL realty, they will not help you if something goes wrong and only care about the money, instead of helping their guests. I was actually told in a email "You can stay here while you find other accommodations and we will refund you the remainder of your stay. I am not a travel agent and cannot call around and find other accommodations." Wow, something goes wrong and you are on you own. Absolutely unacceptable!"

"Scenic Location on West Maui
It’s been years since we stayed at the Kuleana and were pleasantly surprised with the updated unit and beautiful landscape at this location. We explored the beach out front and enjoyed snorkeling and cooling off in the ocean. Pool was pristine and refreshing to take an evening swim
The views from the unit were amazing, the living space was nicely arranged and furnishings were clean and modern. Shower was great and we really enjoyed an air conditioned bedroom! We much prefer a smaller resort rather than a mega hotel where you have to pay extra for parking and then have to wander through lobbies and elevators to get to your room. The Kuleana was perfect for our tropical home away from home!!"

"Views to Die for, sound proof walls
Me and my wife stayed here for the better part of a week and what a stay! To start, the property manager with Epic made EVERYTHING so easy. All our details were in an email and tye check in instructions took away the stress of checking in. To start with the room, the views beat many that I've seen in Hawaii and I've lived here my whole life. Not often do you get to wake up to the relaxing lapping ocean (if you left the slider open) or get the perspective view of maui, Lanai AND molokai. At night we watched trucks run the mountain back roads on lanai, In the dark midst of the island it looked like UFO's lol. During dinner we saw small little fire works shows from Molokai, nice a nice cap on our nights as we saw them regularly. Day or night the views alone were worth the money! The AC kicked but too, even on the very hot days we were very comfortable. We also made food the entire time we were there and the kitchen was well suited for all our needs. Lastly the staff there were very nice. The grounds keepers always gave us a smile while passing and the front desk lady was the Sweetest. She buzzed us in about 20 times during our grocery hauls and was helpful with the parking situation. We will be staying here again, for sure!"

Knowing the area well, it was exactly what we had hoped for. A cozy little suite with spectacular view and wonderful location. Unfortunately there is very little beach at the moment, but that’s the shifting sand and winter storm’s fault, not the complex’s. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the staff were terrific.
