"Really great location and unit
The unit was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us. The deck is nice and the property is so lovely! The edge of it is on the beach and we walked on the beach every day.

Location was great. It was 10 min walking or 4 min driving to an area of Kihei with lots of cafes and coffee shops. "

"Lovely Maui Sunset
Second stay at Maui Sunset, first with Expedia. One bedroom suite for 2 adults and 2 kids. Be aware Covid protocols remove all nice to haves - spices, condiments, Saran, tin foil from unit. Great location with amazing amenities. Stayed in unit A306 which is a great layout, good view and needing some TLC - pull out needs a new mattress, bathroom sink leaking in vanity, needs new blender (1/6 controls worked kind of), washing machine smells moldy and microwave shorts outs. We didn’t care as they were minor concerns - so happy to be in paradise and enjoy the pool and grounds! The grounds and pool are in immaculate condition, lovely beach, great sunsets. Would definitely return - Concierge lady Holland was amazing assisting Canadians with arranging covid testing for flights home. Would arrange a unit in better condition."

"Awesome stay at Maui Sunset
Everything was great, the apartment was very clean, it had everything you need during your stay: fully equipped kitchen, washing and dryer machine, beach chairs, towels, good Wi-Fi, TV with streaming apps. My apartment had a great balcony with partial views of the ocean and the gardens. The area is very nice, the Condo is right on a beautiful beach park to watch the sunset. There are a few shops and stores close to the Condo, and you can even walk to them. I totally recommend Maui Sunset!"

"A Very Good Location
Maui Sunset is a well maintained condo complex. I would not consider it a resort (despite the resort fee). The unit we were in was functional. It was missing some very basic kitchen items such as a toaster and a frying pan, but those were provided very quickly when we asked for them. It is a quiet complex. It is well named as the sunsets are spectacular. Well situated to shopping and a short drive to the southern beaches. "

"Maui Sunset Vacation
We love the Maui Sunset. The units are perfect for 2-4 people. They are generally well equip.
We found the fold out bed wasn't changed and the sheets bedroom were too small for the bed...however this was rectified the very next day.One of the beach chairs was torn up and not useable also. But all in all a nice unit."

"Unit 306.
MAUI is wonderful, as always. The staff was friendly and helpful . The grounds are gorgeous and very well kept. BBQ was cleaned thoroughly each morning. Our unit (306) was clean and spacious but definitely dated. Washing machine STANK when we opened it and continued to do so. It should have work done on it for next season. Pool area was very cozy. I would recommend MAUI Sunset but not unit 306."

"Good location
Central location for first visit to Maui. Great interaction with front desk staff. Mostly good maintenance response. First time got a call back. 2nd time nothing but I figured it out how to rest the AC. AC units are older noisy and not really that efficient ... fine in bedroom but not powerful enough in the living room. Carpets looked clean but almost shag-like so who knows ... Decor and furniture are mostly 80s close to beach and pool bbq. Had most cooking equipment. Couple of casserole dishes were definitely still oily from use but easy to clean. "

"A great central location. Well maintained property.
A long awaited family get away. The property was in a great spot to be able to easily tour the island. The property was well maintained, and any questions or needs were handled promptly and courteously. A surprising plus, was the full 2nd bathroom. Even we were so appreciative that it made the stay so much easier traveling with more that just 2 people. The beach was not the best swimming beach for Maui, but a delight to walk morning and evening. We had a wonderful time."

"Very nice stay
We stayed at Maui Sunset for 7 nights in April, we were happy with the unit on the 3rd floor, we had a view of the well kept grounds and the water. The unit itself was clean and well stocked. The AC in the bedroom was great as was the one in the living room. The pool was warm and no to crowded. "

"Great location!
Loved the location! Grounds were very well kept! Condo unit themselves could use some updating. Biggest complaint is that the air conditioner units had to be restarted every 4 hours! They shut off on their own, big problem when you had to get up thru the night to restart it!"

"Two night stay at Maui Sunset 3rd Floor
Great location in regards to condo itself. Love the amenities that are right outside my door - pool, jacuzzi, sauna, park, tennis courts, and gym. The washer and dryer in the unit was also a nice surprise and soap was also provided. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Beautiful vacation resort on Maui
The unit was very nice and had a great view. Our family loved the property. It has a nice pool area and hot tub. We also took advantage of the putting green, shuffle board, and pickle ball. I would have liked to have rented the paddle boards but ran out of time! The sunsets were amazing! Overall we liked the resort and area and would definitely come back."

"We had a wonderful stay!
We were in the process of moving from our home we sold while we wait for our new home to be ready. So we needed a place to stay for the in between time. Our condo at Maui Sunset was perfect! It had everything we needed, lots of space and a great pool area and other wonderful amenities. All the staff we encountered were so kind and helpful. It was central to the whole island which made it very convenient. And so close to all the nicest beaches and the best restaurants. We definitely enjoyed our time there and would stay there again for sure!"

"Great condo for everyone!
This condo is located within walking distance to most amenities. Large enough to accommodate our family with the addition of a very comfortable Murphy Bed. The parking is plentiful and safe. The grounds allow families to enjoy not only the beach but also the large grass area and tennis courts. This location will be our choice for next year's visit to Maui."

"After a rocky start, our stay at Maui Sunset was great!
We arrived on Monday, May 29th, Memorial Day. We were not told prior to our arrival that the office would be closed. We called an emergency number, told to call a second number for condo assignment, key box code. Unpacked, spent first night. Next morning got a call saying we were in the wrong unit. Wasted first full day in Kihei packing our clothes, supplies, frig full of food, moved to different building, different condo. We were not happy. No one offered any compensation for a mistake. Customer service could use a refresh on how to satisfy customers."

"Maui Sunset
We had a great trip and enjoyed staying at the Maui Sunset A306. The condo was clean and quiet. There were 3 of us and enough space though if we had anymore it would have felt cramped and tight. Kitchen was very well equipped. The condo has partial ocean view that to see you need to be standing or in the corner of lanai."

We were very pleased with this property and the condominium that we had. The property is very nice, we had a partial ocean view and the sunsets were gorgeous. The property is well maintained and the pool complex is very nice. The location is good. There are numerous resturaunts and shopping within walking distance. "Great rental stay in Kihei, Maui!
My wife and I recently went to Maui for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and really enjoyed staying at this property. Our condo was clean and had a lot of great amenities. The location was perfect - right at the beach, great view of the ocean (and sunsets!), and very close to all the benefits of a larger Hawaiian city like Kihei. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and cookware/utensils and we only needed to purchase a couple "consumables" like plastic wrap and sugar. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and responsive to questions and the other staff were very polite and attentive. "
