AMAZING PROPERTY!! VERY PRIVATE & VERY SPACIOUS HOME, INCLUDES VIP PASS TO PRIVATE BEACH CLUB.
We invite you to escape to our beautiful Hawaiian hide-away. The luxurious deluxe townhome is located in a private gated community within the lush Mauna Lani resort. Our home is beautifully appointed with new top of the line tropical furnishings. The Lehua layout is an open floor plan with multiple lanai’s and fully retractable sliding glass doors to make the most of Hawaii’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Amenities abound including access to a free form pool and exercise room within the Villages complex, access beach pass to the Private Mauna Lani Beach Club, walking distance to the major Mauna Lani resort hotels, The Shops at Mauna Lani and the Mauna Lani Spa and Fitness Center.

Although gourmet restaurants are a quick stroll away, should you decide to cook your own gourmet meal at home, the kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you will need including stainless steel cookware and appliances, dishwasher drawers, prep island with sink, large Sub Zero refrigerator, granite countertops and on the main lanai, a high end Weber grill.

On the second floor, the spacious master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed, walk-in closet with built in cabinets, a large en-suite bathroom with double sinks, soaking tub and shower. There is also a flat screen TV with cable access and a comfortably furnished private lanai. The second upstairs bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, en-suite bathroom with shower, large closet and flat screen TV with cable access.

Back on the first floor, the third bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, private en-suite bathroom with shower, large closet and flat screen TV with cable access. Across the hall you will find a half bath with an attached laundry room which includes a full sized Fisher Paykel washer and dryer.

There are two lanai’s on the first floor. The main lanai is equipped with a high end Weber grill, large dining table that seats 6 – 8 adults, and two luxurious chaise lounges. Additionally outside ceiling fans have been installed to insure that there is always access to a comfortable breeze. The second smaller lanai is located off of the kitchen and is a wonderfully quiet and private spot for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, reading a book or just passing the time away. You must sign this Agreement and make your required payment within 24 hours to avoid cancellation. Once your signed agreement and your deposit or full rental fee are received, a confirmation will be issued to you. If you do not receive a confirmation this does not void this agreement.
If your required payment is a deposit, the balance of your full payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement date of your rental period. By authorizing a deposit payment via credit card, you are also authorizing the same credit card to be charged for the balance of the total charges 60 days prior to the check in date of your rental period. This additional authorization shall be exactly as though you have presented the card number for payment at the time the balance becomes due. If you book your rental less than 60 days in advance of your stay, we will charge your full payment immediately by credit card. If the card will not process, you will be liable for the remaining balance due and authorize us to charge your credit card account on file, exactly as though you have presented the card number for payment at that time, until your outstanding balance is satisfied. Once we receive your payment in full, as a courtesy we will send you, by e-mail, a confirmation notice to confirm receipt of payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY 61+ DAYS IS A $150 ADMINISTRATION FEE AND 60 DAYS and less is a full forfeiture unless property is rented during the time period.
WHILE PROPERTY MANAGER MAY CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION FOR FAILURE TO PROVIDE FULL PAYMENT BY THE REQUIRED DATE, Any Customer who refuses to use services contracted for forfeits any and all collected money, except the Customer's security deposit and cleaning fee (if applicable). The security deposit and pre-paid cleaning fee are not part of the initial deposit to hold the rental. The security deposit and pre-paid cleaning fee (if applicable) are included in the balance payment, therefore, the initial deposit will be forfeited if you refuse to fulfill your scheduled stay after confirmation of booking.
Collected money is non-refundable after 60 days of arrival. Under no circumstances shall Customer be able to determine if a rental unit is unfit for habitation. If you as Customer forfeit your right to services contracted for, and Property Manager is able to re-book the property at the same rate, you will be issued a pro-rata refund for those dates re-booked. All refunds of rental service payments, whether complete or pro-rata, will be subject to a deduction equal to as much as 15% of deposit(s) paid. Customer shall give Property Manager, twenty four (24) hours to clean the rental that you might deem dirty upon check in. Customer also gives Property Manager, twenty four (24) hours to address any allegations that bugs or pests are in the rental. Ultimately, in order for you to claim the premises are unacceptable due to issues of cleanliness or bug/pest infestation, you must obtain a third-party opinion letter within forty eight (48) hours of arrival, (from a professional not staying in the rental that has physically witnessed the issue) to corroborate any allegations of poor quality services or accommodations.
Please be further advised that Property Manager is not responsible for construction or neighbor noise, as these are risks that are inherent when renting a vacation rental. We are unable to control these factors, and this agreement shall remain in full force and effect regardless of these issues. There shall be no cancellation for construction noise or for neighbor issues of any kind. To protect against cancellations caused by certain unforeseen events, such as illness, we recommend that customers purchase travel insurance to assure refund of deposits paid. As a valued Customer, we want to do everything possible to make your trip is enjoyable and worry free. Since the unforeseen and unexpected can occur before you leave or when you are away from home, we recommend (but do not require) CSA's Guest Cancellation Insurance Plan. Any changes made after booking shall be wholly at Property Manager's discretion. There is no "reasonable" change of accommodation that this agreement requires Property Manager to make.
If Customer complains about the condition of the rental, the amount of Security Deposit being withheld and or service they received from the Property Manager and or Property Manager's employees or contractors, KPC will work in good faith to help Property Manager and Customer reach a mutually acceptable resolution..
Any CHANGES made to a booking after a confirmation has been issued will be assessed a $150.00 service fee. Acceptance of any change is subject to approval by the Property Manager of the rental.


*Full Forfeiture: Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued to the extent of the dollar value the unit(s) is re-rented during the same dates as the cancelled reservation.
No refunds will be made for late check-ins; early check-outs, no-shows or for booked but unused services. Refunds will be made only under the following circumstances: 1.) The property rented becomes unfit for habitation and no acceptable substitute can be found; or, 2.) The property is sold by Owner, and no acceptable substitution is agreed upon, or,
Kohala Coast Properties, Inc. strongly recommends the purchase of trip interruption/trip cancelation insurance to help protect against financial losses if trip delay or cancelation is necessitated by certain kinds of unforeseen circumstances.

The unit is wonderful and quick access to the private beach and pool are unbeatable... we had a great time and even better support from Kohala Coast Properties :)

We were traveling with a toddler and when the clothes dryer stopped working it might have been a disaster due to amount of laundry toddlers can generate, but Michelle had a repair person on site within 4 hours on a Saturday which was really above and beyond.

Overall the rental is wonderful and worth every penny, but if pressed for constructive feedback I'd mention that there isn't a stereo or speakers you can pair to your phone in the rental (which would be nice to have) and that the shades in the living room might need to be replaced as they seem on their last legs... but otherwise the unit was perfect for us!

Overall the property was in excellent condition and great location for our needs to be close to start line for Hawaii 70.3. I have stayed in other properties on the same street that had better amenities, such as spices for cooking, access to garage ( nice to have if you are traveling with bicycles), no restrictions on the AC. Overall it fit our needs but not as accommodating for travelers as other units. "

A major advantage that should not be missed or forgotten is access to the club area which has a “private” beach with lounge chairs , a beautiful snorkeling area to the left near the rock out droppings and excellent food at the “clubhouse” restaurant . "Big, clean, sparse
Very clean and photos are accurate. A/C and appliances worked well. Location is a reasonable drive to some great beaches for snorkeling. The gated community felt very safe.

Beach club access is nice, but is full by 10am. If you want a cabana you must get there before 8am.

Supplies were unacceptable for a $500/night rental. There was insufficient garbage bags and dishwasher detergent, there was no counter cleaner, and the stock of paper products was miserly at best. You'll have to budget time out of your vacation to shop for these basic supplies. Thanks goodness other reviewers mentioned these things!"

"Mauna Lani Vacation
The management company was responsive and accommodating to our request to drop of groceries early and a potential late check out. The online app has everything you need to know and is very easy to use.

The condo is as described, parts are a little dated but it was clean and had plenty of space. We did not like the location as the beaches are not as nice as they are further north. The private beach that you have access to is the nicest in that area but is very crowded and doesn't provide much shade and we ended up never using it. The best part of the location is that you are next to one of the better grocery stores on the island.

Due to Covid, only 1 guest may use the onsite gym which by the time we arrived was completely signed up for weeks so we were not able to use it during our stay.

The unit does not come with a true coffee maker only a small keirug and all of the spices, condiments and oils etc are tossed after each stay which is inconvenient and wasteful. At a minimum it would have been nice to donate. I know they mentioned it is due to Covid but we stayed at a house prior to the condo and they kept all of their spices for each guest to use and it had a full size coffee maker that allowed us to enjoy fresh brewed Kona coffee from the island each morning.

The condo is stocked with a limited amount of paper and cleaning supplies and any additional is for you to purchase. We had a water leak under the sink on our 2nd day. The management company did respond quickly but when we asked where we could find additional paper towels they said only 2 were supplied and to use beach towels or kitchen towels instead. Not a big deal but not the best impression or service after the inconvenience of having to clean up the mess in the kitchen and hand washing all dishes for a day on your vacation."

Disappointed that there was virtually nothing left in the condo for new occupants requiring purchase of all essentials such as salt/pepper/ sugar/ spices/ cooking oil unused coffee /etc. All other similar rental always left these essentials for renters arriving after long days of travel. Anything we left was probably also taken by the cleaning crew. Not convenient for new arrivals . Also only a Kuerig coffee machine requiring more expensive coffee .

"Great stay at a great place!
This place was perfect for our party of 6 plus one child. The place was very clean and the location is perfect. The pool is nice but the beach you get access to is amazing! It’s also close to a few other key beach spots.
The information provided before hand was great although the door code was missing so had to call when we arrived at the place. There’s tons of information throughout the house about everything but a few key pieces of information missing like how to put our recycling. Only other piece of feedback is that they kept some boogie boards and swim toys but say that any kids toys are thrown away for sanitary purposes.... this is unfortunate in mind as I’m sure most people end up buying one. To just reuse the toys would be much more environmentally friendly!
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!! Thank you! "

We stayed here over Christmas 2016 for 10 nights.
The facility is large and spacious, and the location is very convenient to the shops and the grocery market. The large laundry area was much used and appreciated.
The towels and linens were plentiful.
Unfortunately, there was a construction process right next to the lanai, less than 15 feet away. It appears they were were building a stone wall along the back of multiple properties. We had a pile of dirt next to the lanai, and the wind blew much of it into the lanais and onto the outdoor furniture. As well, there was activity with workers on site, and a bobcat machine that was noisy and made beeping sounds whenever it was backing up. Consequently, there was absolutely no privacy, and we hung up some bed sheets over the lanai doors so that we could use the living room and dining room in privacy. This certainly took away a major part of the reason that we were in Hawaii - to enjoy the warmth and the outdoors. I can understand that construction has to occur from time to time, but we were never given any notice that this was happening, even though we had paid top dollar for the holiday season.
When we arrived there were multiple roach traps in the unit, some on the kitchen counters. The slate tile floor was not very clean, but it certainly was after we cleaned it with materials supplied by the manager.
The living room sofa has straps that were stretched out from use, and we tucked beach towels under the cushions to get adequate support.
There were only three beach chairs, not enough for a 3 bedroom condo. Two of these were already torn. Management did provide one replacement during our stay.
The information book in the unit advised that beach equipment should be hosed off after use, but both outdoor faucets were non functional as the handles were missing. In any case there was no outdoor hose.
In summary, the unit can be very enjoyable and comfortable, but the above issues took much "

"Beautiful Big Island Condo
This property is stunning, from the furnishings to the landscaping. We were very comfortable as each bedroom is like a master with its own bathroom with shower. There is plenty of room to spread out and with our adult children it made our vacation very relaxing. The unit has plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear, the private beach is great although our last day the water was not clear due to the high surf. We loved the barbeque and cooked most evenings. As other reviews mentioned the kitchen did not have any salt & pepper or spices or oil (I imagine they do not want to keep any food items for a period of time due to bugs)but every other vacation rental has had an abundance or spices, oils, sugar, etc. The pool and Jacuzzi was very nice also. Cannot wait to plan our next trip to The Big Island! "

"Hawaiian Vacation
This was the second unit we have rented in The Villages facility and love it because it is perfectly located among all the activities/restaurants within the Mauna Lani resort. This unit is clean and has been very well maintained. That being said, we do have a few personal suggestions for the owners to consider. First, owners might think about replacing the great room sofa with a section sofa (the room is large and can handle one)for more comfortable seating. The current sofa is small and doesn't allow guests to really stretch out and relax. In addition, this unit really needs some color infused into it. The entire downstairs is brown and since this unit doesn't have a western exposure it can be a bit dark in the afternoon. Finally, give your renters access to the garage. My husband rented a very expensive bike for the week and we didn't have a secure place to put it until we contacted the property management team(which by the way were fantastic). Not sure if we would rent this unit again for these reasons."

"Great stay
These condos are beautifully decorated and perfect for a family. Beds are comfortable, and they have plenty of towels and beach equipment. We appreciated the snorkeling sets and umbrella. The Beach Club card is a special reason for coming with a beautiful cove, cabanas, and a restaurant. The only thing missing were simple condiments like salt and pepper, mustard, etc. There was nothing in the cabinets, unlike one of the other units we rented last year. The management is most helpful, and offered to reimburse us for these, but we just left them for future guests. "

Truly enjoyed our time at Villages at Mauna Lani #621! Condo was well equipped with everything we needed including lots of beach gear and beach towels. Big bedrooms with lots of closet space, and each bedroom with its own bathroom is a big plus. Lovely, big patio with great bbq, too. Close to store, coffee shop and smoothie shop! "Great place to stay
My husband, my two kids and my mom stayed at the condo for ten days. We found it to be roomy and comfortable. The decor was very tasteful. Each room has its own bathroom which is very nice. The kitchen was very well equipped. The outdoor space is pretty and there is a nice grill. There were four boogie boards available to use and even looked like there was some snorkeling equipment. I loved snorkeling at the beach nearby. This is one of my favorite beaches and the restaurant there is good. We could walk to the Mani Lani shops which was great. My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was a little exercise room available. We were about ten minutes from Hapuna beach. Overall a great place to enjoy the big island and I would stay there again. "

"Great Townhouse
Very clean townhouse. Great location. I would certainly rent it again. No beach chairs, so you need to buy your own. They did provide beach towels so that was great. No broom in house either, so very hard to keep kitchen floor clean. No hose, so I created a foot bath by the front door to try and keep sand out of townhouse. No place to rinse off gear such as snorkels or fins. "

"Wonderful Accomodations !
This is a beautifully built, maintained and equipped townhouse. It screams quality.
No need to drive anywhere, unless you want to. There is a wonderful grocery store a few blocks away with every thing you need, including great, fresh Sushi!
Acces to excellent swimming and snorkeling beaches is close at hand. Nice pool and hot tub area within easy walk. Great shopping and restaurants very close as well.
The support from the management is very good; friendly and responsive to our needs.
This is a first class operation in a secure, beautiful, resort setting."

"Machin Family Vacation
We had a great time at your home. It was spotless! The only thing that would have made it perfect was more beach stuff and a few more kitchen items. We ended up purchasing an umbrella and tubes for the kids and beach toys that we left so hopefully they will still be there if and when we come next year. Also bought an electric griddle for the kitchen to make pancakes and left it there as well. It would be nice if they had a spice rack with some basic seasonings to use. Other than that I would recommend this house for sure! It was perfect for a family. Wish the pool was a bit bigger but the beach club was awesome. Thank you for opening your home up to use. Hope to see you again next year but for a bit longer stay! "

"family trip to the Big Island
Our family traveled to the Big Island for a destination wedding. Our stay was for 5 days. We had 6 family member in the unit and had more than enough room. The accommodations were very comfortable but if you were planning on doing any cooking, there were no condiments to be found in the kitchen, so be prepared. Overall, a great stay"

"Happy in Mauna Lani
The property management company was professional, personable and helpful. We had a couple of issues with ice/water dispenser and BBQ gas, but all got resolved and they were always super friendly and wanting to take care of us. They even offered compensation for fish dinner and water/ice we had to buy as a result. We're still waiting for the cheque to arrive in the mail after 4 weeks, but hopefully it is on its way. I would recommend this complex for any family looking for a gorgeous well-kept resort complex in the area."

"Family Vacation of a Life Time!
Fabulous place to stay! Clean, beautiful, with a patio with barbeque and the grass in the yard is like walking on a carpet. There were 3 couples and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The master bath had a huge jetted tub. The kitchen was amazing except for a little problem with the ants. Make sure you do not keep any food out on the counters and that all food in the cupboards is sealed tightly. We lost several food items due to attack of the little ants! Very comfortable beds and bedding. Master has a King, one bedroom a Queen and the other 2 twins that we pushed together to make a King. We would definitely stay there again. If you need for anything or have any questions just call or email the office. They were great to work with. "

"Hawaii vaca with 11 month old twins
We stayed here in October and can't express how great this property is. The house is tastefully decorated with excellent appliances and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. We especially liked the sliding doors that open up the living room to the lanai and outdoor reading area. In addition, the balcony from the master bedroom has an incredible view. The Villages at Mauna lani has an excellent pool area that was perfect for our 11 month old twins. The house is also just walking distance from a great supermarket and a number of restaurants which made everything convenient. Finally, the real estate agents (Marisa and Alesia) were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They are extremely quick to respond even during our stay. When I mentioned we were bringing 11 month old twins, they even went as far to put a few toys in the house for our kids to play with. They also helped us obtain a set of pack and plays and high chairs which they put into the unit before we arrived! We love the Big Island (our 4th trip) and will try to rent this place every time we return. "
