There is a HUGE lanai/balcony for your comfort. Relax & watch all of the exciting activity in the heart of Ali'i Drive below. (Cruise ships, sight-seeing boats, outrigger canoes, and fishing boats---All can be watched from this gem of a Lanai.) Kona Village closes down by 9:00 PM, so after nine the only thing you will hear from the Lanai are the ocean waves.

This perfectly located gem has everything you need for a stay of a few days or several months. This is the type of location you actually would not have to have a car in Kona.

Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes this condo very quite and peaceful. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay.

Kona Plaza Condominium Complex has a great pool with lounge chairs & 2 BBQ decks with great views of the ocean/mountain.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Perfect Location!
This property is a perfect location in the heart of Kona! We were here for 2 weeks and this was a great base for sightseeing and relaxing. You could stay here without a car and walk to shopping, restaurants and beaches.We rented a car because we wanted to drive to several locations on the island. There is an underground parking garage and elevators. It has a beautiful view of the water from the balcony to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Knutson & Assoc were amazing to work with from the beginning of our rental process. Their instructions were clear and easy to follow. They checked in on us after arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough nice things about Knutson! Thank you for a great vacation!"

"Cozy ocean view condo
The 1-bedroom condo at Kona Plaza was a very nice, cozy, and comfortable ocean view property. The ocean view was spectacular, and it was very relaxing to sit on the lanai and gaze out at the beautiful setting. The condo was very clean, well equipped, and conveniently located to Kailua Bay."

"Lovery and comfortable condo with excellent access!!︎
Located near the Kona Inn Shopping Village, it offers excellent access to Alii Drive. The unit's simple, clean interior is reminiscent of the West Coast, and we enjoyed comfortable breakfast and dinner on the spacious lanai. Restaurants, cafes, and the ABC Store are also nearby, making it very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was very clean, with a washer and dryer. The bed and sofa bed were too soft for us. As we are Japanese, it would have been better if we could have taken our shoes off."

Location!! Location!! Location. This condo is in the heart of downtown close to the shops n restaurants. We loved that we could walk to dinner every night. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning over looking the ocean. Condo was very clean and the view was the best "

"Views of the ocean and main tourist street
The condo was very clean and tidy upon arrival. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for meals we cooked using the well-equipped kitchen. We could walk out of the back of the building on to the main tourist street where there are restaurants, shops, and attractions. We were able to park in the garage although it was under renovation and lacked sufficient lighting.

Beware that the building HOA has onerous stipulations reinforced by stiff financial penalties ($100-$200) concerning parking, parking pass display, registration, key loss,and lanai appearance. The condo managers at Knutson do however constantly remind you of the rules and fines. It helps to avoid being fined I admit, but I felt we were living in a police state.

Knutson was fine but I had difficulty understanding some of the billing practices. I was told the bill auto-populated and charged me for renter's insurance I did not request. Watch out for the 3% credit card fee too. "

"Exceptional condo for location, view, utility & reasonable price
We stay 5 days in April 2025. Condo is in a very good location, near restaurants and beaches and shopping plaza. Very big lanai, ocean view. Too bad Sunset behind the big banyan tree and pier. There is an old smell when first walking in, but get used to it. Main bed is good, pullout sofa is too soft. Bedroom blinds is not as good to shade the room completely. Old Kitchen with plenty new pots and pans and knives block, coffee pot cutting boards and toaster, and spices. Love the Corelle plates. Love the dish washer and detergent. Good for cooking. Good Ac in living room and bedroom. New beach Tommy Bahamas Costco chairs, beach towels, snorkel mask and fins, coolers. Wish they included the umbrella. Need to bring key to get to the basement to walk out of the complex. A little inconvenience. Expect to pay the extra non refundable damage protection plan about $50 (~6%) for Knutson associates property management. Unexpected nuisance small print. Washer and dryer are very convenient with provided detergent and dryer sheets. Parking is plenty. "
