This upgraded “top floor” condo off of Alii Drive has everything you need to enjoy your time on the Big Island of Hawaii! The property features a full kitchen and a full bathroom with stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite counter tops. There is a Queen sized bed, plenty of seating in the living area, flat screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, plus a lanai with outdoor seating and ocean views. You will be able to enjoy the cruise ships docked in the bay from the Lanai. There is Air Conditioning to help cool off from the tropical sunshine after your Hawaii excursions. The property is equipped to make it easy for beach adventures with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, noodles, coolers and more.

The Kona Shores condominium complex has an ocean-front pool with a cabana, two bathrooms and a charcoal grill for barbecuing. It is a perfect location to hang out and soak up the Hawaii sun and enjoy the gorgeous Kona sunsets. You may possibly spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset as the sun sets behind the horizon. The Kona Shores is a popular location for visitors due to its close proximity to beaches and to the heart of Kailua Kona which is filled with restaurants and shopping right along the water’s edge. Some of the activities you can find on the Kona Coast include beaches, luau’s, farmer’s markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing; just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. With so much to do this condo makes a perfect home base to relax after all of your vacation adventures or you can just have a relaxing day lounging by the pool.

There are rent-able bikes available across the street from Kona Shores. There is an assigned parking space and laundry facilities that are compatible with the PayRange laundry facility app.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Perfect home base for 2
Great for 2. Second floor, balcony, good a/c, clean, cute. Had a couple types of chairs, umbrella, floaties, and a couple sizes of coolers and nice beach towels. The grounds with pool and bbq area plus just a nice spot with tables down at the water was well maintained and pretty quiet. Laundry is $2.50 a load, they have an app you can download. Great location. You don’t need to keep track of a key to come and go so that was nice. Nice price point too for what you get. "

"Ideal Central Location
Upon arrival we noticed how close to downtown shops we were, also we were able to walk down to the pool area which gives you oceanfront access. Although it’s pretty rocky, beautiful nonetheless! Beds were comfy and there was plenty of extras such as umbrellas, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers (2sizes) snorkel gear, beach blankets and pool noodles! There was plenty of plates silverware and much more. The street gets pretty noisy from 4-6pm but quiets down after that. Air conditioning is felt great walking in after a long day of shopping! Very cute quaint little airbnb. I would stay here again."

The property staff is always quick to respond assisting with needs or issues. Although we saw a few stains on some of the furniture cloth everything else was neat clean and comforting. The pools is small but fun with beautiful ocean views including cruise ships, kayakers and sailboats. Encourages more of quiet local life on a zen peaceful state. Laundry on site also great pay per load and lizards are fun and interesting. We had a lovely stay! "

"Great little studio on Ali’i Dr for a reasonable price.
This condo suited our needs perfectly. We just wanted a reasonably priced place to sleep that is centrally located and this place was just that. A keypad entry would make coming and going much easier without the need to get a key out to lock and unlock each time. Appreciated the two luggage stands for our suitcases. Just need to let guests know where the trash dumpster is located somewhere in your communication."

"#203 kona shores Alii drive
If you are looking for a small single room space that is literally on a major through road with traffic day and night, that costs the same as an quiet multi room apartment, then this is the place for you. It was on the second floor adjacent to the road, so the traffic noise came with the space. The widow air conditioner didn’t help since it would run for 30 seconds, just enough to wake you up, then switch off. One minute later the same process would restart. This space has an outstanding view of the parking lot from the balcony, or the main road from the front. I have been to properties on Alii drive for over 25 years, and this was by far the worst value for Money by far."

"NOT handicap friendly.
Unit was on 2nd floor with the door facing the street. Deck had a view of the parking lot. Was difficult to get luggage up the stairs to the unit. Tall table on deck only had 2 chairs so the 3rd person in our party got stuck sitting on a regular chair needing to reach up to set cup on table and hold their food in their lap. We had no idea there was no elevator and were not told this when we booked it."

Property was exactly as shown in pictures. Bed was comfortable. Living room, dining room and kitchen fit our needs perfectly. We stayed 7 nights and used the kitchen for most of our meals. Everything we needed to cook our food was there for us. The balcony is really nice. Bath area was very well stocked with everything we needed. The sunsets by the pool area are beautiful."

"Great location with all amenities
Studio apartment with comfortable space for a family of two small kids.

This place is very close to the local shopping centers, malls, activities shops and airport.

The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised to see even water bottles and to go lunch boxes. There were two beach umbrellas and chairs and some snorkel masks. There are two regular umbrellas for rainy days.

Swimming pool has a nice beach view though beach is not visible from the apartment.

Make sure to buy enough toiletries if you are staying for more than a couple of days.

Overall we liked the stay for the location, convenience and ease of check-in and check-out. "

"Clean and comfortable!
The studio apartment was completely pleasant. We used the kitchen everyday. Everything we needed was available. Once, we couldn’t get the tv to work, and we called the management company. The owner was knocking at the door within 5 minutes. He patiently messed with the wifi and tv until everything was working correctly. The management team sent us constant assurances that they would respond to any need we had, turned out to be so! We enjoyed our stay. "

We were very satisfied with the studio apartment. It was laid out well and felt very roomy. It was clean and we found everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We were on the building closest to the street, but found traffic very light overnight, so not a problem. Pool area right at the ocean was beautiful and it was a great place to watch the sunset. We would definitely recommend it and would stay at Kona Shores again. "

This condo was perfectly located on the edge of town, walking distance to beaches, restaurants, shopping. Oceanfront complex, beautiful oceanfront pool setting. Condo had everything you would need from comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen, beach supplies - coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels. Management communication was excellent. This really was a wonderful place to stay!"
