CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

We stayed for five nights. Wonderful property that is close to Kona but quiet and right on the ocean. Beautiful pool and garden area that are well maintained. The BBQ's are excellent. The unit was clean and well equipped. We are hoping to come back again but for more nights.

The only minor issue is that the instructions for the AC did not totally make sense, but we figured it out. As well, it took us a while to understand the controls for the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom."

"Stayed a wonderful month at Casa 117
I recently returned from almost a month at this unit. At various times I also had a couple of relatives with me. They appreciated the master bedroom with king bed and large bathroom with double sinks. I found the bed in the smaller bedroom very comfortable, and the 2nd shower bathroom just across the hall quite convenient.
I had previously owned a unit at "the Casa" as well as stayed at other rental units in the past. This unit on the first floor near the cabana and magnificent oceanfront views, was very convenient. It was also the most fully outfitted of any rental unit I had stayed in: abundant beach towels, linens, kitchenware, appliances, beach equipment like coolers and beach chairs etc. Plus the very essential washer and dryer. VERY fully furnished!
Knutson staff were also very responsive to any very minor issues or questions I had, and the experience renting through them was both friendly and efficient.
I love the Casa de Emdeko complex, with its beautiful tropical landscaping, pools, and especially the cabana and ocean frontage from which we would watch sunsets...frequently "green flash" sunsets... almost every night.
You will enjoy vacationing here!

"Beautiful, quiet, beachfront condo at a great price!
We chose ground floor for easy access and it did not disappoint. So nice to be steps away from the beautiful infinity salt water pool, sand, and large community covered patio with tables and chairs and BBQs. The unit itself was very well stocked (above and beyond) and had beach towels, beach blankets, beach bags (check out the cabinets inside and outside). Huge TV in each bedroom, very nice beachy furniture. Very clean. Third unit from the corner closest to the ocean. Great customer service and they allowed us late checkout since we were not flying until 3:30. Just know that you have to stand on the porch and look left for the “ocean view”. Select a second or third story unit for a true ocean view. The nightly sunset conch blowers were an awesome addition as well as the convenience of a mini market on the street side of the property. Like most properties in Kona, there is no sandy beach access. Overall highly recommend! "

"Spacious, Comfortable Condo
The unit was a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a nice kitchen and living/dining room. Outdoor space was very nice. Familiar with the Casa as family has a time share there. We enjoy the Casa's grounds featuring wonderful salt water pool and beach area. Not a huge complex so plenty of space to relax in the common outdoor areas. Had 1 very minor maintenance issue that was quickly resolved through communication with . Unit was well stocked with everything needed."

"Stay by the Ocean
Great location with lush grounds, 2 pools & a small beach. Great spot to bbq. People were friendly.
Air conditioner did not work. Neither did the blinds, intended for replacement but awful nonetheless. Newer kitchen but old bathrooms with limited storage for clothes, etc.
Overall a nice rental but glad we didn’t plan to stay indoors. "
