Wonderful Kalani Kai condo that's located in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Walking Distance to Everywhere in Town!

Tiled throughout, No carpet! You'll appreciate a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, good quality cabinets,
Dishwasher, Stove, Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Wifi, Cable TV all included! Air Conditioning Wall Unit in Living Room Only, not in the Bedroom.

This first floor condo has views of a lush tropical garden! The Interior space has been extended, so it's a bit larger than other units because the lanai has been removed. There are sliders that open, but no lanai space as a FYI.

A parking space that's close to the front door as well!

Kalani Kai calls has a wonderful pool deck that is finished in beautiful stonework. A community grilling area contributes to the tropical lifestyle and it's practically right outside your front door.

It's just a short walk to Kailua Pier, shopping, restaurants and night life on Alii Drive.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

1. It is located in the center of Kona, so it is very accessible.
2. There are many convenience facilities such as large supermarkets near the apartment.
3. The apartment is very clean and well-managed.

This place is a gem! We were greeted in person and explained all the house rules. Very nice young man. The stay was very comfortable. The apartment had everything you would need for the stay. Very quiet for where it’s at. So close to downtown which is nice you can walk to every restaurant in 5-10 minutes. Would stay again if in the Kona region again. "

"A great find!
This is a very functional apartment. It's just a few minute walk from the main thoroughfare in Kailua Kona. Also, very close to Walmart and Safeway if you wanted to buy necessities and groceries. It was very thoughtfully equipped with appliances and utensils. The washing machine and dryer were very handy. In short, everything we needed was there. For the two of us, the apartment was very comfortable and a good bit larger in size than what we'd previously seen. We liked the true solid table that allowed us to catch up on work. If you need a functional, comfortable place to explore the island, then this one should serve you well."

"The perfect VRBO to explore Big Island
Location: Behind the big Church in town, very close to the heart of town, but not so close it is noisy.
Property: Wonderful layout, dining table was great, could seat 6, perfect for a family to gather around the table. One of the best things was the washer and dryer in house. I have never had this before on vacation and didn't realize what a benefit this was. Sofa and chairs all very comfortable, AC is in the living room but there are plenty of fans. I would stay here again on my next Big Island trip. "

"Our final visit to Kona
We enjoy staying at the Kalani Kai ~ it's comfortable, has a helpful staff, and within walking distance to the pier and small shops. However, we will not be returning to Kona. It no longer represents the Hawaii we fell in love with 40 years ago. Every chain store with their humungous parking lots has taken over the open spaces. Once quiet beaches no longer exist as the throngs of people pour onto them. Sirens going off at all hours. Knutson and Associates are the best property managers, and we will continue to use them as we relocate our hearts to another area of Hawaii. "

"Perfect Location
Kalani Kai #109 was in the perfect location for our dive part of the trip to Hawaii. Only 15 minutes by car from the small boat harbor and 5 - 10 minute walk to all the restaurants near Ali'i strip. The condo was clean and sufficient to our needs. Great value for money. Thank you. "

"Good location in Kona town
The overall experience was good. The property management company was excellent to deal with and the communication was great prior to and during my stay. The unit itself was in a great location in the complex within steps of the swimming pool and very close to the unit parking. The condo was in walking distance to the main tourist area in Kona town. The unit had all the amenities for our stay as well as beach items such as chairs, umbrellas, towels, cooler etc. Unfortunately the lanai is non existent due to renovations to the unit. There isn’t enough room for a chair on the lanai. The unit is a little dated but clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Perfect vacation
We had a great stay at Kalani Kai! The unit is good for a small family, perfectly equipped with everything you may need for a short stay, super clean, AC worked well, many things including sleeper-sofa are in brand new conditions. The area is well maintained - pool and bbq are always available.
It’s 7 mins walk to a beach, a couple mins drive to grocery stores and there are plenty of restaurants nearby if needed.
The management clearly knows what they are doing, so can highly recommend booking with them!
