White Sands Village is Kona's Premier Vacation Rental destination with ocean and mountain views. It's located directly across the street from Magic Sands Beach; the only white sand beach between Kailua & Keauhou.
The complex has a beautiful pool & spa area, lush tropical landscaping and two tennis courts. Other amenities include a paperback library and pool table area.
A large covered barbecue area located by the pool with four barbecues. White Sands Village is located between downtown Kailua and Keauhou where there are theaters, grocery stores, shops and restaurants!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Great place in a great location
This is a beautifully maintained, spacious condo in a fantastic location. My husband and I and another couple loved the comfortable beds and living room, modern bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and close proximity to the beach, downtown Kona, and multiple restaurants. The spacious balcony with ocean view was a big bonus. The property managers were very communicative and responsive. Onerall a top-notch experience. Highly recommend!"

"Fabulous spot!
We loved staying in what we dubbed "our city condo"! Very clean,beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle to really relax. I absolutely loved the relaxing on the lanai while listening to the birds and viewing the ocean in the distance. Great place and I wish I was still there! "

"Kona Vacation

Wonderful, relaxing, vacation with everything you need. Central perfect spot steps away from the beach. Property management and owners were amazing. Changed out butcher block of knives for new set! "One great vacation!
Staying at this condo was a terrific experience. Location was very good. The condo was a perfect layout for 3 of us, including enough space when my husband became I’ll the day after we arrived! He had lots of room while we were out exploring the island. I also can’t say enough about Knutson and ***. Property Management team, especially Blake and Shyya Ha’o. Shyya stayed in touch with me when planning to meet my aunt, so she knew where to go. Everything was done and ready when she arrived before us. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you for helping to make this a great vacation, even with a sick spouse! "

"Good stay in Kona
The unit was spacious and clean, very well appointed as far as every day items we need. I was a little puzzled by them only allowing us 3 dishwasher and laundry pods for a week stay. Wev were told we could buy more and request a refund but that is too much of a hassle. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner nearly every day so we could have used more. Management might want to consider allowing one per day of stay to be realistic. We ended up hand washing most days - but who wants to do dishes on their vacation ? seemed silly, are they worried we would steal dishwasher soap ? Also watch for mandatory security fee that we were not fully aware of until final payment when it was tacked on, option 2 was pay $1000 deposit then have to get that back later. Would be much better to clearly state that requirement at time of booking, but it is small print so read carefully and get clarification. We were also locked out of our unit the first night. The door code they gave us was not correct, it took us a while to get a hold of someone to get a new code. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, Not positive I would recommend to others, it depends on what their needs are. "

"Loved it!
My husband and brother and I stayed here for the Ironman race. It was a great stay - so convenient to Magic Sands beach and snacks at Magics Beach Grill. Parking was easy. The lanai has a view of the ocean and feels very private with all the greenery right outside. Some of our friends stayed in downtown Kona for the race and we were grateful to be away from all the craziness but still close to the action. We got parked in at one point and I contacted Knutson and they got back to me almost immediately. No other issues. The unit is bright and cozy, not too fancy but very functional. It was great to have some beach gear including snorkels, chairs, and an umbrella. "

"Not a very good vacation
Master bed was a bed from **** I got my right leg from knee to ankle hitting the boards getting into bed.
No small chair to set on to dress in bed rooms.
Kitchen ok but problem with sink faucet leak, refrigerator issues with ice.
Living Room furniture from **** no support sink to bottom can’t get up.
No extra chair but desk. I will let my sister say the rest.
I personally will never rent something of the type of lodging."

"Not worth the charges.
There were multiple issues with this rental: the couch and couch pillows had to be covered with beach towels due to odor, mirrors in both bathroom were peeling, items in the showers have rust on them, cupboard doors don't shut, multiple cupboard doors have peeling paint, one bedroom with fan could not be adjusted with controller; had to be unplugged, shower pan very stained, table on lanai had to be sprayed by us to kill infestation of ants and lastly, cockroaches in the bathroom. For the money paid, the unit should not be rented until updated. The grounds were sufficient as was the pool area. I would not recommend this unit to anyone."

"Cozy and Comfortable with a beach view (side view only)
We really enjoyed our stay at White Sands Village. The condo was on the 2nd floor, near the elevator, offering two bedrooms and two baths.

The condo was clean, mostly upgraded and comfortable for our family of three. The bathrooms were dated but functional (nicer rugs and some paint for the rusting fixtures and tub area would make them more comfortable).

The condo offered everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and enjoying Hawaii.

The condo has AC but that's not needed since there's a security door (major bonus) that allows you to open the back patio and front door for a great breeze.

The onsite staff was nice as well as the owners and full time residents.

As vaction rental owners, I would recommend this place. It deserves 5 stars."

"White Sands Village
Our unit was adequate but definitely needs work. Towels and linens were shabby and furniture was limited. We were especially bothered by the lack of lighting — no reading or task lighting. Master closet was packed with junk so we had to move things around to even hang anything in it. Needs updating."
