All treehouse at (Property Management) come with comforts you wouldn’t expect to find high in the trees in the middle of the jungle. Showers, sinks, toilets, fresh white linens, comfortable beds, and chairs are our standard. So they don’t come with hot water, but a cool shower after spending the day in the heat is very refreshing. The entire structure of the bungalow is sealed by mosquito mesh woven so fine that it will not obstruct your view in any way. Additionally, each bed is equipped with another layer of mosquito mesh draping’s which tuck in under the mattress.

The friendly staff at Treehouse will take your luggage to and from your bungalow and clean your bungalow daily. After enjoying a nice dinner at the main lodge, the path to your bungalow will be lit ensuring you a peaceful and safe walk home for the night.

Treehouse 5 is 25 feet off the ground and spans approximately 17 feet in diameter. Bungalow 5 has beautiful views of the surrounding jungle that include bamboo and palm trees. It can be arranged with either one king bed or two twins. Also, a portable cot can be provided if requested for an additional person.

"Adventure of a lifetime
A true Peruvian jungle experience. The only adventures better than sleeping in glampiing treehouses, were the expeditions in the jungle. We checked off all our wild Peruvian jungle animals, and ate some delicious food."

"Staying here is a superior experience!
From arrival to departure, every part of our stay here was fantastic. The treehouses are beautiful, each one unique, and even getting to each one a bit of an adventure. (These are not for the physically challenged.) The meals were exceptionally good, beautifully presented, healthy, and flavorful. My companion and I felt we were given plenty of food at each meal, but another diner did not, and they gave him two full meals at each meal. That's service! Best of all were the guides and the activities. This is THE place to stay for personal service and a close-up experience in the jungle.

Tips: The closer treehouses are much easier to access, which is good. I brought a tiny USB-powered fan to use inside my mosquito net which was a lifesaver. Birding by boat is a special treat, but it means tripods and spotting scopes don't really work (due to the motion of the boat) so don't bother bringing them. Bring plenty of clothes so you can change often; it's hot and humid. Cold showers are the best in these conditions! Bring knee-high socks to wear inside the rubber boots they provide for jungle hikes. Rainy season is a fantastic time for visiting - makes the animals easier to see.

In all, this was the best place to stay in the Iquitos jungle region. (We stayed in others as well, so this conclusion is based on experience.)"

"Living in the Jungle for 66 hours and Loving It
For years we had heard about this unusual and very enjoyable treetop experience in the jungle, 3 hours travel south of Iquitos, Peru. It measured up, as advertised. Check out the website. Highlights: 2 nights sleeping on a very comfortable bed under mosquito netting, troop of monkeys passing by during our morning shower, seeing pink river dolphins, boa, whip snake, sloths, iguana, 30+ birds, holding a caiman [and returning it to the river], cuddling a baby sloth in my arms, feeding a woolly monkey in our boat, catching piraña. The staff took care of us fabulously. Food was great, the place was clean, central building relaxing, calm, breezy. I never got a single mosquito bite. Our guide had amazing knowledge of plants, animals, birds and was super kind. I did pre-treat my clothes with permethrin. Would definitely recommend the experience to friends and family."

"Awesome Concept w/ Fabulous Execution!
The idea of making guest rooms in a tropical rainforest up off the ground in the tree canopy is freaking genius, and the execution was fantastic. We stayed in Treehouse #5 and a troop of little monkeys had a daily trek through the forest canopy that passed right outside our room every morning between about 6:15am and 6:30am. We would start hearing the sound of something crashing on palm branches, and get out of bed, grab our glasses, step out the screen door and watch literally dozens of monkeys work their way past our room to wherever they were going. Given a choice, I will never stay in a ground lodge again - I have been spoiled for life.

Another item of note, I have significant dietary restrictions, which their kitchen accommodated with no difficulty whatsoever. The lodge was also very careful to only feed us tourists purified water and food that had been cleaned / cooked in purified water. It may seem a small thing, but if you have ever stayed someplace that was less careful, then you will be aware of how much it sucks to have traveler's diarrhea during your once in a lifetime trip."

"Amazing! Exceeded all my expectations!
Everything about this experience was phenomenal— the food, the guides, the accommodations, the customer service! I did not want to leave. Such an amazing experience staying in a treehouse in the Amazon Rainforest. The food at Treehouse lodge was the best I had my whole stay in Peru. The jungle views and sounds were amazing. I slept with my curtains open enjoying nature shielded from the bugs with the nets. Actually bugs in SD are worse then there. "

"Inolvidable recuerdo.

"An amazing experience!
Our family would highly recommend the Treehouse Lodge! The treehouses were incredibly comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing - both tasty and creative. The guides make the experience truly special, catering your experiences to what you most want to do or see. Overall, a 5 star, adventurous experience to experience the Amazon. "

"GREAT!!
Overall, this was one of the best experiences we have had. The lodge and tree houses were beautiful and very unique. The food was AMAZING! They played music during dinner both nights that we were there and it made the evening even better. We did experience a major earthquake during our stay, but the tree house was sturdy and held strong. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this vacation spot to anyone. The wildlife and excursions were exciting, but there was also enough time to relax and enjoy the sounds of the forest.

My only complaint would be that they do not provide a list of places to stay in Iquitos if you are planning to stay overnight prior or after the lodge. We did not realize that our hotel was in a dangerous part of Iquitos (due to false advertising on expedia) and we were dropped off without anywhere else to go and with the advice to not leave after dark. My only recommendation would be to have a list of safe places to stay in Iquitos if needed. I would ask the lodge for designated places for pick up and drop off that are safe. "

"Unique and Worthwhile Experience
Treehouse Lodge is an amazing experience. How often does one get to be in the midst of the Amazon rainforest in comfort? We saw a group of monkeys swing by while in oir treehouse. Our guide was knowledgeable and there was a lot to do while there. Do leave your city slicker expectations, as there is no hot water, the electricity shuts off midnight and you do see some insects inadvertently get into your room with you. But then you get to hear the orchestra of sounds at night and you realize how amazing it is that you are hearing this firsthand and not from some iTunes “Sounds of the Rainforest” soundtrack!"

"Awesome Experience, Treehouses are just a bonus to the overall
We choose the treehouse lodge because of how unique the treehouses sounded and looked. While the treehouses were amazing it was the people, organization and experiences we had that really took the cake. I'd come back for the experiences even if the treehouses were gone and there was just a tent in the jungle. Can't recommend this enough."

"Amazon Trip
Overall the experience was great. Food was really delicious and staff had great customer service. My only complaint was that my credit card was compromised charged $6k and I had to get my bank to address. I realized afterwards that it was of the same company I booked this trip with. "

"Treehouse Lodge Disappointment .....
Three night stay in a supposed ‘luxury’ lodge, however this was far from the case sadly. Property very run down and dirty with staff lacking proper supervision. The excursions however were fabulous and the guides worked extremely hard - unsung heroes. If it wasn’t for the guide we would have checked out the first day."

"Amazon luxury Lodge
We had a wonderful experience at the Treehouse Lodge. The staff were courteous and helpful. The accommodation was unique being high in the tree canopy. We especially appreciated the experience and knowledge of our guide Johnny and his wonderful boatman Roger. Johnny stayed with us for the whole trip as our personal ‘go to’ man and his command of English is exceptional. He organised to show us all and more that we wanted to experience and his good will and sense of humour we found endearing. He was very competent and punctual and made our trip amazing and so enjoyable. The meals were top standard and our waiter explained each course which arrived beautifully presented. A top experience!"

"Amazing Amazon Experience!
Edgar, our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our travel needs. He helped us plan our daily excursions, give us ideas & recommendations. He explained and showed us various wild life, helped us take pictures, brought wild life onto our boat. Roger, our boatman, was also very accommodating and took us around, early and late nights for sunrise and sunsets along the Amazon. He was also able to navigate really well and show us around the jungle. Edwin, the hotel manager was extremely welcoming, helpful, supporting to everything. He helped us deal with our specific needs and always asked us about our well-being and stay at the Treehouse. Leiner, our waiter was also very helpful and accommodating to our food needs and always served us with a welcoming demeanor.

Chef's food was DELICIOUS! Everything was tasty!

The food, staff, the service was an excellent experience! Thank you!"

"Coolest experience ever!
I lived in house number five. I have never been so well treated by staff with the highest level of service! Best class of food and the surroundings were amazing! I do not think you can find a nicer place in Amazonas. You have a private guide and boat chaffer that takes you around the corner of Amazonas. Look at nature, birds, defines, crocodiles, spiders, frogs, monkeys, singer, wigs with much more! Fish pirays that the chef steaks up to you as an extra starter. I only have good things to say about this stay! If you have the opportunity, go here!"

"Unique Lodge
I have been to Iquitos several times. This lodge is unique one.
A full-blown Lodge gave safety, comfortableness and warmth of wood while my stay.
Dish and their service is perfecto.
The only thing is that safety box did not function very well and I sometimes did not feel hospitality of my guide. On Second day morning I promised to meet with my guide at 06:00 but he appeared 06:20 , I know that the morning is precious time to look birds & animals. And I recommendo that the guide wear uniform while excursions. "

"Interesting, not impressed for "all inclusive"
Overall, my visit was okay. The location of Treehouse Lodge is great, right at the Amazon basin. It was cool to see the pink dolphins, the monkeys and birds and bugs, visit the local people (hold a sloth!), etc. The afternoon we got lost in the jungle for an hour was pretty sucky though. We didn't see any animals from our treehouse, which was pretty disappointing (understanding that nature cannot be commanded).

It was odd to me that the property manager did not have an actual office. Maybe this makes him accessible to guests, but he had papers, binders, and a safe just sitting on one of the dining tables.

The food left a lot to be desired. Who goes to the jungle for "upscale" American food? Would've been great to have something a little more cultural and local. The portions were also pretty small. My partner left every meal still hungry; luckily, we had some snacks. Breakfast was dismal: day-old bread with jam and a deli meat plate with a slab of cream cheese.

Beds in the treehouses were great in theory, but the pillows (and probably the mattresses) were moldy from existing in a damp environment. I would've preferred sleeping in a hammock or on a cot, something that was more breathable. Immediately upon laying on the mattress, you could feel the dampness and it didn't go away, especially with 2 in the bed.

Also, we were supposed to bring our own towels, something that is not on the website. Thankfully, management did give 2 sets to us.

Our guide was great, but I didn't realize that each treehouse would have it's own guide. I expected guided activities for anyone who wanted to participate. This could be conveyed better on the website.

I'm left feeling grateful for the experience, but frustrated because the website made it seem so much more than what it was."

"Amazing experience at the treehouse
The treehouse is an experience never to forget.
Our guide Allan came to pick us up from the airport with the driver.
When we arrived he immediately asked what we wanted to do the coming 3 days, almost everything was possible and otherwise he would figure something out to let our plan work.

The treehouse was also soo nice and beautifull.
You could hear all the birds and other animals in your room the whole day and night.
The bed was protected with a net so that no insects would come in our bed.

The food was also very good.
We both are vegetarians, but every day we got another dish and it was really good.
You could smell and taste the freshness of the dishes.
They used local and fresh products.
Really good food!
And not to forget the fresh juices!
Everyday another delicious and suprising juice.

My boyfriend/fiancee proposed to me at the beach.
The manager Edwin arranged everything, see picture. Thanks again Edwin! ??
It was so beautifull, I never would expect in my dreams a proposal could be that romantic and special.

We both had a really good and unforgettable time.

Thank you so much!

"Perfect choice!!!
There are no words to describe the experience, everything was wonderful . Highly recommended to come with friends or family. People was so nice with us and the food was like a five stars hotel. 3d/2n was the perfect choice for us! Many thanks for everything!!!"

"This trip was beyond our expectations!
My husband and two children, ages 8 and 10, stayed at the treehouse for a week. We had a phenomenal time. Each day started with a fresh breakfast followed by a 4 hour outing. We came back for lunch and a little break before heading out again and returning for dinner. Willie was our guide and went out of his way to create the experience we were hoping for. Our treehouse was clean and we were greeted to fresh towels and sheets each day. We returned from hiking excursions to cool towels and fresh juice. Our only complaint was that food portions were too large and we often couldn't finish meals. We were truly surprised by the thoughtful attention to detail of the staff. I know our trip was made better by Willies sharp eye for jungle creatures as well as his willingness to hear what we were seeking and help us create that experience. THANK YOU!!"
