"The Chateaux
Gulf view from everyone's balcony is the best part! The pool was warm and clean. The elevator was slow but only having one is tough. The new laundry system is excellent, but you need a smart phone to use it. Carts provided for luggage & household items!"

"The view never disappoints
Have stayed in the complex before but not in this particular unit. We loved the decor and it was very clean when we arrived. Spent many mornings on the balcony enjoying the view. Always love walking on the beach there and appreciate seeing all the different birds. Many places to shop and eat nearby also. Definitely want to return at some point in the future."

Great stay! Check in was easy and ahead of schedule. Found the unit to be clean and as described. The unit had everything we needed for a beach stay. The beach chairs provided were great. Bed was very comfortable. Cooking utensils were more than adequate. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Overall Clean but Needs updates
The condo was nice and clean and there were lots of extras (beach toys, kitchen items etc) but the condo needs updating - specifically the patio doors. Part of the reason for being beachfront is the view. It was impossible to see it through the old foggy glass of the patio doors. You had to open the doors to enjoy the view (and there aren’t any screens). Appreciated the newer mattress on one of the foldouts in the LR but the other one needs replacing. Bathroom also needs updating.
Also, the complex is nice but the pool is too small for the building. It says it’s heated but we were there mid May and the pool was still too cold to enjoy.
Probably would not stay there again. For the price, there are better condos in the area (with two bathrooms). "

"Very pleased at Chateaux
Like coming home. I have been to the Chateaux about 12 times since 2004. It is the perfect place for adults, small and quiet. Excellent location with great shopping and myriad of restaurants nearby. Short drive into St Petersburg, a lovely city to tour."

"Loved Chateaux 403
The view of course was beautiful. Very nice balcony furniture. Comfortable beds.safety bars in shower. Great TV with good cable. Furniture clean and comfortable. Drapes in good condition. Just an all around nice place. We had a wonderful time. The owners obviously are involved and interested in the condition of this unit. We are staying here next year."

"Florida vacation
We loved the condo, but we disappointed that we couldn't use the pool until Sunday of our stay. And a bit unset that on Friday Oct. 12th the way to the beach was blocked. We had to go around the next condo complex to get to the beach, having waited for an hour or so because the workers stated that it would be open in 20 minutes. "

"A Little Taste of Paradise.
I recently spent a week in Unit 403, a condo in the vacation rental building called The Chateaux, located on Gulf Blvd. in Indian Shores, Florida. I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience there from start to finish. The unit rental is managed by Florida Lifestyles Vacation Rentals Inc. Their staff are very professional, and it was very easy to secure the rental from Canada. Upon arrival, it was also easy to pick up my unit's keys, and I was provided with a neat package with paperwork pertaining to the rental. The Chateaux building is very clean and well maintained. It is located on a beautiful section of ocean beachfront, and has a very nice heated swimming pool as well. My unit was spotlessly clean on my arrival. I am pretty particular, and it certainly met with my approval. The unit had a very nice layout, was well appointed, and felt very comfortable from the moment I arrived. The view of the beach and ocean off of the balcony was amazing. There are many nice restaurants and golf courses nearby, and it is close enough to Clearwater if you want access to shopping and more restaurants, without the high density hustle and bustle of that area. I played golf at Mainlands in Pinellas Park, about 25 minutes away, and quite liked it. It's a very nice course for an average golfer. One of the restaurants that I particularly enjoyed was The Island Way Grill in Clearwater. A very nice location, with a great outdoor patio overlooking the inland waterway, good food and service, and reasonable prices. Overall, I had a great stay, and have already booked for 2 weeks at The Chateaux next year! "

"Relaxing Stay
We recently spent two enjoyable weeks at the Chateaux Condo #403. The location on the beach was ideal and we enjoyed perfect weather for the duration of our stay. This condo unit, although a bit dated was clean, comfortable and well equipped. An initial problem with the TV was quickly resolved by staff and everything else went very smoothly. I would say that we were very satisfied with our stay at this location."

Our condo 403 was nice, clean and in a very good location for our family. We enjoy a more family friendly beach and this was perfect. Close to Clearwater beach and shopping. Condo could be updated but was clean and nice. "

"A smooth get away
We enjoyed our stay in this unit very much, everything was satisfactory and we did appreciate this beach front location. There was just a little problem with the elevator that went out of service at least four times while we were there; this failure becomes serious when you cannot climb the stairs up to the fourth floor but besides that we have nothing to complain about."

Excellent except for the interrogation my wife received from a man named "Bob" who eventually claimed he was the president of the owner's association board. This occurred out of my presence and was not appreciated. On check-in they gave us the wrong keys having me to make 2 trips to the rental office. Otherwise we love the location. Swam with a Manatee, jet-skiing with a sea turtle, Sand dollars, fireworks, sunsets, and many other experiences were enjoyed by all including the restaurants."

"great stay
Chateaux was a fantastic stay. Loved having my balcony so close to the beach I could easily hear the waves. Fantasic sunset view. Very clean and comforatable room. My only complaints would be the elevator was down for two says and being on the fouth floor we had a lot of stairs to go up and down with all our beach items. And instead of apologizing the property management put up a nasty sign in the elevator about not getting sand and water in the elevator which we thought was unprofessional. Also we would have liked for a washer and dryer to have been available but as far as we could tell the property did not have any. "

"We asked for a new kitchen garbage can and did not get it.
Location was nice, the condo needs to have the cupboards and doors wiped down. Otherwise it was perfect. I am wondering the cost for 3 weeks in late April early May next year. "
