"Chateaux 405
Overall a nice place to stay and great location. We have been coming to FL for a number of years and have stayed in numerous other VRBO/Air BNB. We have a few complaints regarding Chateaux 405 which left us less that fully satisfied. We were perplexed at the lack of bathroom supplies (we had to buy our own toilet paper, there were two (2) small bars of soap and was no shampoo). There was also dishwashing soap. Never had we had to buy these amenities. Typically the place would have books and puzzles - there were only a few books and the puzzles that were there were missing many pieces. The other complaint was the lack of beach chairs. There was one lawn chair type beach chair and a couple of low sitting chairs. Our thought was that for a few thousand dollars investment, it would have made a big diffence. We stay in Chateaux 403 last year and it had all those little things and made a big difference. One other thing, we received a welcome bag last year in our stay (from Florida Lifestyle Vacation Rentals) - we did NOT receive one this year. Overall our experience this year in 405 was definitely less than it was last year in 403."

Great location, heated pool (would have liked beach towels provided) also king bed instead of queen. Decor tasteful, view gorgeous! Discovered leak under bathroom vanity after spare towels, toilet tissue, etc. had already gotten wet on our last day)"

"We Dodged Hurricane Idalia
We arrived on Saturday to find a very pleasant condo unit 405. Had to leave Monday due to hurricane. Fortunately we only live about two hours away and returned Thursday to find everything in great shape. Lifestyle Vac.Rentals did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. You can't beat the view and closeness to the ⛱️ beach."

We had a wonderful time. Beach location was wonderful! The condo was clean, had everything we needed, air conditioner worked great and beds were comfortable. The drain in the tub was a little clogged so the water drained a little slow. The swimming pool water temperature was a little too cold. We enjoyed the condo patio view. We appreciated the security access to the pool and beach access (with a required code).
We would stay there again.

"Great Unit
Unit itself and the complex are excellent!!! We've stayed at this complex twice, both times was with Florida Lifestyle. And unfortunately, both times we were disappointed in how clean the units were. This last time was really poor. We made a 2nd trip to the store just to buy cleaning supplies. If the supplies left in the unit are what the cleaners use, then that explains why it was not cleaned properly. Very old dirt...not just dirt that was missed from the last cleaning. Dirt that's been missed for years. We had friends visit and couldn't let them sleep on the sofa bed because under the cushions was awful!!! We had to share our own bedroom which was less than ideal."

"Great stay
A great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything just like it was supposed to be. Clean and spacious room with gorgeous views. Best location I’ve ever had on a beach. When you exit the pool area you’re literally on the beach. Would be my first option when looking to book future vacations. "

Great location with a beautiful view. Older type building but our unit was spacious and had nice furniture and comfortable beds. The counter had some crumbs when we arrived but I always re-clean anyway. Nice size pool and plenty of chairs. Beautiful beach. Would stay here again. "

Perfect location! Exceeded our expectations. Property description was accurate, with spacious accommodations and open relaxing layout. Beautiful, large balcony overlooking the ocean view and beach, and the sunsets were spectacular! Property was super clean, well maintained and appointed. Chairs and umbrellas available for our use in closet. Great communication and customer care by owner and manager. Recommend you give this a try for a relaxing time at a family-oriented beach community. Loved the local boutiques, bookstores, tackle shops and restaurants. Fishing was good, too! Easy access to white sand beach, just down the elevator, then out onto the gated pool deck and then the beach. We loved it, and we hope to be back again soon!"

"Nice rental
Our unit was clean and we had a million dollar view of the Gulf. The unit had everything we needed. The only complaint I have is that the elevator was not working most of the week. Our condo was on the 4th floor and carrying groceries and luggage via the stairs was not fun. Other than that I was happy."

"Nice Stay
This complex is literally on the beach so you can drink your coffee on the balcony every morning while you listen to the ocean waves and people watch. The unit was clean, well furnished, and convenient to a lot of good restaurants. There is also a pirate themed mini-golf course right across the street which was a lot of fun. Great relaxing time.
The only problem we encountered was the elevator wasn't working one morning, but property management had someone out there and it was fixed within a few hours. Overall a great place to stay."

"Logue stay March 20 to 27
The condo was everything promised. Location and view were unbelievable. Very nice town, Indian Shores. Beach was clean and not crowded. The condo was outfitted with everything we needed for the weeks stay.
A new shower curtain was needed and the dust and cobwebs in bathroom should be cleaned up . There was some mold in shower also."

"A nice relaxing get-away!
It was our first trip to Indian Shores and it was a nice trip. Our condo (405) was in great condition and was nicely decorated and appointed. It was a great location on the beach and convenient to restaurants etc. We had no problems with the condo but the elevators did go out twice during our stay and should be better maintained. We would stay in 405 again on a future trip. "

"Great place to stay
Chateaux condos on gulf blvd. We had a wonderful time. The kitchen in our condo could have been stocked better, ie utensils, other than that, it was a great place to stay. The views of the gulf, dolphins swimming by, the whole experience was tremendous. It was located close to everything we needed, restaurants and stores. Plenty of chairs at the pool, and the best sunsets! We really enjoyed our 3 weeks there."

"Family Vacation April 2019
This is an amazing condo with exceptional view of the gulf. The condo itself was updated, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay including beach furniture. We really enjoyed the heated pool especially in the evenings as this time of year the ocean was a little chilly. Also to our surprise there was a BBQ on site which we took advantage of. Everything you need is within driving distance which is very convenient. I would highly recommend this condo for families or couples looking to get away! "

Our stay was a great experience! The condo was very clean, comfortable queensize bed, nice shower area. Great view from the 4th floor. We had ample stuff to sun bath on the beach (umbrella, chairs,beach towel actually only had one chair) but still ok. Liked the decor of condo, Vwry neat."

"Review of Chateaux, unit number 405.
This is a very nice unit. I found it to be clean and tidy. It is spacious, with a beautiful balcony view out over the beach and ocean. The full kitchen is very handy to prepare meals in. Florida Lifestyle is the property management company with which I dealt to arrange this rental. Their staff are personable and professional, and the cleaning staff who work for them do a good job at getting the units clean and ready for the incoming renter. I have dealt with them for the last two years renting at The Chateaux, and have been very happy with their services. The building itself is well kept, with a nice clean pool, and great access to the beach. "

Pros The location is perfect.The sunset is spectacular. Florida Lifestyles personnel is great.
Cons. The mattress' are shot and need to be replaced. Needed to go to the chiropractor and have acupuncture after our stay. The linens are old and don't stay put on the bed. The microwave had grease stains on the vent when we checked in. The living room furniture is uncomfortable to sit in as the cushions are shot. The blue recliner was very dirty. Carpeting is disgusting and has a lot of stains and dirt. "

Have stayed at 6 different condos along the gulf and this was the best. Best view and beach access, best location for restaurants (Crabby Bills, Salt Rock), very clean and well kept complex. This particular unit has everything you can imagine. It feels like you arE stepping in to a home that you would live in all the time...not a vacation condo.

"Chateaux #405 -- Great as Always
I have stayed in #405 a number of times, as well as a few other units in the Chateaux. I have never left unhappy after staying in this building. The building was obviously repainted and updated within the past year, and 405 (I think) was also refurbished. It appears to be freshly painted and was very clean. Everything within the unit worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this unit for your next stay on Indian Shores Beach!"

We have stayed at this property for several years and enjoyed it immensely. This April they decided to take away a lot of poolside lounges for repair and left a shortage which affected many families. Ottherwise it is a wonderful place to vacation."

Although we were in Florida for a funeral and not for a pleasure trip, our visit to Chateaux made the trip a pleasure. "relaxing vacation
The condo was spacious and in good condition. The sofa bed in Chateaux 409 needs to be replaced though. We were happy to find a couple of good beach chairs and also sand toys for the kids. There were also extra blankets and pillows. "
