You'll feel right at home in this fresh, contemporary air-conditioned one-bedroom suite (582 sqft plus lanai with table and chairs) with beautiful views of the Ko'olau Mountains! Sleeps max 4.

The Waikiki Banyan is a favorite of repeat visitors with its host of amenities including a pool, hot tubs, BBQ area, and more. All this and just a short 2-block walk to beautiful Waikiki Beach, plus shops, restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park! Public transportation is readily available, with stops located right outside the building on Kuhio Avenue.

*BUILDING NOTE: The pool and hot tubs are tentatively scheduled to be closed for repairs, roughly April–August 2023. Timeframe subject to change.

PAYMENT METHODS: Payment is only accepted in the form of Visa, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, and American Express credit cards.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A $300.00 USD Down Payment, applied toward the total balance, is required at the time of booking in order to secure your reservation. For Daily Rentals, the balance payment is due 45 days prior to Check-In. For Monthly Rentals, the balance payment is due 60 days prior to Check-In. This balance payment will be automatically charged according to this schedule to the credit card placed on file at the time of booking, unless other arrangements have been approved by CCR prior to the balance due date.

For Daily Rental reservations made within 45 days of Check-In, and Monthly Rental reservations made within 60 days of Check-In, payment in full is required at the time of booking, and the Cancellation Policy, as stated below, will apply.

CHANGING RESERVATION DATES: If you need to change reservation dates, we will do our best to help make the requested change, subject to prior reservations. Date changes are not possible after the balance payment is due, other than extensions to the existing reservation dates. Any "date change" requested after the balance payment is due shall be considered a Cancellation of the original stay dates.

CANCELLATIONS: A cancellation becomes effective from the date that it is received in writing, by e-mail or fax.

For Daily Rental reservations cancelled more than 45 days prior to Check-In, and Monthly Rental reservations cancelled more than 60 days prior to Check-In, there is a $100.00 USD Cancellation Fee. Your Down Payment will be refunded less this fee.

For Daily Rental reservations cancelled within 45 days of Check-In, and Monthly Rental reservations cancelled within 60 days of Check-In, there will be no refund unless we are able to re-rent the property for some or all of the time you committed to and refunds may be less than the actual revenue paid. "Spectacular view
Our stay at Waikiki Banyan was nice. The condo had a beautiful view and a very comfortable king bed. It was minimally stocked, even for cleaning supplies. The building itself was perfectly located, near the park, beach, bus lines and rental bikes. The elevators were very slow and often out of service. One night we waited 30 minutes. Over all a good place."

Communication with the host/CaptainCook was easy and promptly. Our flight got delayed 4 times and they were communicating with us until we arrive at the door. Instructions provided were clear. Our vacation rental was nice and really convenient in terms of location. The property was clean and well-maintained. The manager was really easy to contact, however we did have a few issues with the property that weren’t fixed during our stay. It was never followed up which made the stay okay, but could’ve been better if they were addressed. I’d recommend the unit to friends/family as it’s really near a lot of things. "

"Had a great time but not totally satisfied.
the Unit was very clean and in a great location. The only issue was we had no wifi and tv for our entire stay. Even though our property manager was always in communication with us about it, the issue was never fixed. Also, he had informed us that the faucet in the bath tub was broken so the water was constantly running and that was also not fixed while we were there. I have rented other properties from this company before and had no issues. Unfortunately, this time we didn't get a 5 star unit. "

"Extremely disappointed
When we arrived we were told that there were workers still in the bathroom so we should delay going to the unit but they should be finished by 5:30 PM
We finally went there at 7:30 PM and they were still there. The place was a mess.
Around 10:30 PM they just left without completing the work. The problem was that the bathroom was still a mess. The shower curtain was not up so there would be no way for us to take a shower in the morning. Byron got us another room to use in the morning so that we could take showers etc. Then they finally came back later in the afternoon the next day to put up the shower curtain and come to find out that the fixture was installed incorrectly and there was no water. So they spent the rest of the day there. I was finally able to take a shower around 6:30 PM (which was the time for our dinner reservation so we were late for that). I basically kicked them out after they got the water working and told them that I did not want them there anymore for they already wasted 2 of our days. I told them that they could finish the trim etc after we left. My wife and I then spent a couple of hours cleaning all the floors and dusting all the furniture to make it habitable.
Byron did get us a discount but losing 2 days of our vacation was very disappointing and what price can you put on that? We should have been told of this situation before we arrived so that we could have arranged other accommodations. We are also very disappointed with the recreation deck. There is no shade or umbrellas or anywhere to sit. The court is unusable. You cannot blame this on Covid for we have stayed in other hotels during this covid situation. The place is a mess - nothing like the pictures on your website. We travel frequently and all over the world and this was the worst experience we have ever had. "

"A wonderful stay at beautiful Waikiki
This was our first trip to Hawaii - partly a business trip. We didn't think we would ever choose Hawaii as a place to visit as we are from Australia and have some of the best beaches in the world.
How wrong were we! We loved Waikiki, the people were so laid back and friendly, the shops, the lovely eateries. The sunset cocktails over the beach. And of course the drive up the North Shore was so picturesque and reminded us of our own north shore beaches in Sydney. We were lucky enough to see huge waves on the pipeline - we have only ever seen such massive tubes on television competitions.
Our accommodation was excellent - we actually had a self contained apartment with a mountain view towards Diamond Head and was very close to the beach and all facilities. I would recommend Waikiki Banyan highly.
We would come back in a heart beat, but sadly Covid is preventing us leaving OZ.

"Home Away From Home
We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was clean and comfortable with a view of the Ko’olau Mountains. We seen many rainstorms coming over the mountains. Close to the ocean , we were able to walk to Safeway for our groceries.
We had a couple of nights with tepid water to shower, the burner had gone, but the maintenance staff worked endlessly on it to fix the situation. The problem was fixed and hot showers once again.
Alpha Cabs are always parked out in front, we used a gentleman named Raymond Young who is a very friendly man and very reasonable.
We would stay in this unit again and highly recommend it to others ."

Short walk to the beach where we were able to rent an umbrella and chairs, although the unit had really nice chairs we could've used. Light bulb missing in sofa lamp, back of toilet missing ( a little gross). Toilet was leaking. Air conditioner was noisy and the front did not stay on. Maintenance could have been better.
Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen at least for our minimal needs. Parking convenient. Well located for getting around and good restaurants."

The apartment was nicely appointed. Somewhat aged (the A/C worked well, but could do with some repair). The curtains/windows need dusting, but the bed was comfortable & the location was great. "Two Weeks Chillaxing
Waikiki Banyan was our base for our recent 2 week stay. What a great choice this was! Brilliant location for access to central Waikiki for beaches, shopping and restaurants.

The condo was comfortable and spacious and well set up for our stay. The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived on a morning flight but we were able to get early access so could start relaxing immediately.

We rented a car for 5 days and parking was provided as part of the package. This was simple and so cost effective.

We will use this facility and Captain Cook again.

We can’t recommend this enough as an option for your next trip."

"Fun in Waikiki
Great location! Close to beach, restaurants, shopping. Easy access to freeway when checking out the rest of the island. Room is as described, bed is comfortable, and everything was clean. Loved that we had free WiFi and parking. We would stay here again. Only thing we didn't "love" was the pool. It was smaller than we realized, and they don't allow for floaties, which was a bummer for our son. Still highly recommend."

The condo was nice and clean, and had a wonderful mountain view. Watching the sun rise in the morning was the best part of the Banyan experience!

"Nice view!
Condo was adequate for our needs. Kitchen well stocked except for measuring utensils. We brought coffee filters and ziplocks. Nothing provided in the kitchen such as salt and pepper. No napkins, but laundry detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap all there. Not very well decorated - didn't really feel like we were in Hawaii. the building is 38 stories! Management was on top of things when we had a request. I would suggest new sheets. The pillows were awful, but we were provided with new ones right away. We walked to almost everything in Waikiki from here."

Unit was as described with great mountain view. Newly remodeled with very convenient location. One suggestion is that the reception desk allow printingof boarding passes. It was very inconvenient to not be able to print a boarding pass at the location you are staying. In this case I was not able to view if I was given a pre-TSA ticket which would have saved time not leaving for the airport as early. Some type of accomodation would be nice to allow guests. Also no information was given as to where to deposit trash upon leaving. Yet these are small inconveniences, the unit was very nice. Unit was very clean and in very good condition but overall building could use some updating. "

"Univ Hawaii Graduation Stay
What a delightful stay in this clean and bright unit! Our 2 weeks in Waikiki was perfect for the 3 of us. Love the Banyan's free parking, easy access to beach, H-1/Ali Wai, university and family feel. While common areas are somewhat dated, this unit is newly renovated with tasteful decor, tile floors, granite countertops and comfy bed. Location on 20th floor was quiet and east-facing was cool in the afternoons. Good a/c and ceiling fan. Plenty of clean towels for bathroom and beach. No dishwasher was no problem for us - kitchen well equipped, but will need a shopping trip for supplies for a longer stay. Property manager was in good communication with us, offering assistance, but we had no problems at all!"
