Nestled in the private oceanfront complex of Palmetto Dunes is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with perfect access to the beach and pool. The property features a complex pool, indoors and out! You will also have access to the complex elevator, hot tub, gym, and Palmetto Dunes Buggy! Enough can't be said about how beautiful the views are from this corner unit; you can see the ocean from everywhere.

This villa is located on the 5th floor, allowing you to see as far as the eye can see across the Atlantic Ocean. 1506 Villamare has been completely renovated. The kitchen plays host to granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The living area allows for plentiful seating for family conversations, lounging, and fun!

This vacation property offers two master suites, allowing for complete privacy. Each master suite invites you in with a king bed and private bath. The third bedroom offers two queen-sized beds. All the bedrooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV for viewing pleasure.

With easy beach access and seasonal Palmetto Dunes Buggy transportation, get ready to explore and create memories that last a lifetime.

Please Note: Building improvements are in progress at the Villamare complex now through March 2026, including stucco, balcony, roof, and painting work. • Between 60 and 31 days prior forfeiture of 50% of the total booking charges.
• Inside 30 days of arrival date all payments are nonrefundable

Long Stay Reservations – reservations for 28 days or more.

Trip Preservation –We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. (Property Management) is not the policy provider, Rental Guardian Insurance Services is the holder.
• If selected, the travel insurance premium is charged at the time of selection and is nonrefundable.

Early Departures and No Shows - No refunds for early departures or no-shows. If you have purchased travel insurance, any or all trip reimbursement will be subject to the policy terms and conditions.

Storms - There are no refunds given for cancelation or interruption of your stay due to an event of inclement weather including: a tropical storm, tropical depression, hurricane, or named storm, and all payments will be forfeited. If Guest has purchased travel insurance, any or all trip reimbursement is between you and the insurance company and will be subject to the policy terms and conditions.

Cancellation Refund Schedule –The Cancellation Policy is binding at the time of booking; as outlined in Reservation Confirmation, failure to complete the rental agreement does not exclude Guest from responsibilities of the Cancellation Policy.

"Very Nice Complex, But Condo Unit Left Some Things to be Desired
The new pool deck area is fantastic! Walk to the beach was easy with no stairs to get there. The condo unit, however, needs updating and the 3rd bedroom sharing kitchen wall is really small with french doors that didn't allow for much privacy or sound/light control. Better having a standard door. Limited space in bedroom to allow for luggage. Also, not great having sinks by the bed with no door putting you at risk for awakening someone else. Bathroom drawer needs to be repaired. While small issue, we didn't have salt and pepper shakers or coffee filters in the condo. That's been standard in any other place we've rented. Very expensive condo for some of the things we noticed. Loved the floors (no carpet) and the condo was generally clean."

"Paradise in Hilton head
The 5 weeks we spent in 1506 Villamare went so quickly, but what a wonderful time. The views are fantastic with great looks from any of the 3 balconies or the large window in the main room.
It was unfortunate the magnificent pools and spa renovation wasn’t completed before we left but we were made aware that was a possibility.
This is a central location on the beach so you are so close to everything.
Island Time was great to work with and we have already booked this unit again for next year. "

"Some good Some Bad
Overall, we had a great vacation. The negatives of our stay did not negatively impact the fact that we had a great family vacation. The unit and property had both pros and cons.
Pros: Spacious condo, nice TVs, well equipped kitchen, very close to beach with easy access, property had an average pool area, Island Time management was great to work with and responsive.
Cons: The property was not as clean and as well serviced as other places we've stayed (Omni, Hilton, Marriott). The sliding glass door in unit was nearly impossible for the women to open. Half of the outlets could not be used because whatever you plug in would simply fall out of the outlet. Washer had a note only to wash 3-4 towels at a time?! (Odd for a 3 bedroom condo on the beach. Why not buy a better washer for this large unit?)

All in all, the cleanliness and quality of the property and unit was very average for the price. Omni, Marriott and Hilton are all nicer properties in our opinion (although different). We had a great vacation but would probably seek to stay elsewhere next time.

The property manager was pleasant to work with, helped with doing a little to help right our experience, and assured us the unit was up for renovation. Cracked paint on walls, third bedroom opens off dining room with glass doors, no privacy from the main living area, closet door in that room broken and propped against wall. Non stick skillet all scratched, need’s replaced. View marvelous. Clean. Charged $31 for a gate pass without notification for a visitor I could have just picked up across the street at Disney where they were staying. "

"Unit needs some TLC
We’ve travelled to HHDI for over 40 years and stayed at many properties. Palmetto Dunes is a great location and a beautiful property. Villamare is a very nice property and well maintained. Nice large pool area and the beach is just a short walk away. The condo was just OK. It’s desperately in need of some TLC.

1) The sliding glass doors off the main living area were basically unusable upon our arrival. They were extremely difficult to open and screeched loudly while opening. Most of the time the men had to assist the women who struggled to open them. We had to clean the tracks out as best we could and purchased WD40 just to make them operational. Even then they are difficult to open.

2) The washer is full of black mold around the door seal and smells. The women refrained from using which was a big disappointment.

3) Paint is peeling from the windows in all the rooms with large chunks of paint and wall plaster coming off the walls in the living room.

4) We couldn’t use the balcony off the bedroom due to 4 large and creepy looking wasp nests in the ceiling.

5) Please replace the coffee maker. It’s a mess as well.

I get it, you're paying for the location and view. But the owners need to step up and take better care of the property."

"The perfect location!
We had a great time on our trip to HHI, but with this corner condo just up the steps from the pool and beach entrance and two different balconies to view the scene below, we couldn’t lose. We were able to be in the room while our teens were on the beach or at the pool and check on them easily with the perfect view of each. My only complaint is that the washer and dryer were weak for a condo meant to hold 8 people. So small that only 3 bath towels could be washed at a time, which only made it worth using when really necessary. In the past, I’ve always gotten most of our clothes washed up before heading home, but that wasn’t happening here. We also couldn’t find an iron, but oh well...the view made up for it!! Beautiful! "
